My wife was a patient of Dr. Johnson's, but hasn't been to the doctor in a couple of years. I called to make an appointment and was told she would have to make an appointment as a new patient... and that there was nothing available until mid-March. We called about possibly having a cancerous growth detected by another office, and were encouraged to see her primary. Unfortunately, it wouldn't be prudent to wait several months to have this looked at; and could be deadly. I am disappointed, because we trust and like Dr. Johnson. He is just simply not available and we can't risk her life to wait... I am a little shocked that they were wanting us to.

Dr Johnson and his NP, Diana, are amazing. Their visits are not rushed. They are both kind and considerate - and have been great health care providers for me over the past 8 years. I've only had pleasant experiences with his office staff as well.

Horrible office staff. Would not even take my insurance’s verification of benefits and wanted to double dip by having me pay $245+ instead of billing my insurance up front.

WORSE DOCTOR/ money hungry/ SCAMMERWorse doctor I have ever been to. This doctor is a scam and money hungry. Visited this practice a little over a year ago to get an X-ray. While at my visit they didn’t let me discuss anything else, only my wrist that I had pain with. They were telling me that I would have to make a different appointment. Never have I ever experienced this in my 29 years of life. Even worse for my X-ray results they wouldn’t tell me the results over the phone ( another situation I never experienced from top rated surgeons or general providers). This doctor wanted me to pay for a whole extra visit just to hear results THAT I ALREADY PAID FOR. My wrist wasn’t broken or fractured, and I had to call the imaging lab to get the results. The lab even agreed Mr. Johnson is a scam of a doctor hungry for money.Luckily I have a ppo and I can go to Willowbend Family Medicine again. They are truely the best general practice in dfw.

Been a patient here since 2020. And while wait times in office are a little long, I don’t mind. They are super thorough. I made sure when I switched insurance carriers that they accepted the plan. Love this office!

This doctors office is by far the worst doctors office I have ever worked with. The billing department is very incompetent. Instead of doing their due diligence of reviewing my insurance and coverage they told me I must pay my deductible in order to be seen, which is not true.. my insurance covered my visit completely. I have spent the last 3 months trying to get refunded the money I paid for my visit as the doctors office has now been paid twice for my appointment. I will not be a returning patient and would strongly advise against paying any money upfront for your visit if you know you have insurance that will cover your visit.

I have been patient of Dr. Johnsons and Stonebriar Medical for more than 10 years. He is the Best Doctor in Frisco. He is patient, thorough, knowledgeable and caring. He is the kind of doctor you want to look after your medical health. I highly recommend him and his team.

Dr. Johnson has been my PCP for a little over 10 years now. Always receive the best care from the front office to the back... The other Doctors share the same philosophy on treatment so it makes it easier if I need to seek care in a pinch. Always look forward to what I call the "go beyond" annual physical. He makes sure cover everything so that I leave worry-free and come back next year for another... Now if he had a cure to help me stay out of trouble with my wife!!!!

This is a great physicians office. I utilized telemedicine services recently and was really impressed with how convenient it was. I’ve also never had a problem getting in person visits too.

I have had an injury for a long time, and have been needing referrals from here to other doctors because of how my insurance works. It takes weeks and sometimes months to get a referral to somewhere else. I’m currently trying to get a referral, been calling a few times a week, only to be leaving a voicemail every time (and I call during business hours). I never get calls back, and have called my other doctors to try to help, since this place doesn’t contact me back. How can my injury improve if this place won’t help me get to where I need to be? Very upset with how little help I get, and I can’t do anything but wait for a call back. Still waiting, and it’s been about a month since I first called about this current referral I need.
