BEWARE: Pottery Barn Kids offers no warranty on furniture, even for defects. I purchased a nursery chair that squeaks like a banshee and the store did absolutely nothing to help. I assumed an expensive store like this would offer good customer service and warranty, but I was very very wrong.

While I was bummed to discover that PB Kids doesn’t have the PB Teen Harry Potter items, I was very pleased by the kindness of the staff. I’m from a smaller town that doesn’t have this store, so it’s a learning curve on my part.Honestly, if I were shopping for items for much younger kiddos, I can definitely see the appeal of the store. The items were beautiful, high end, with excellent selection. The team member I spoke to was very kind, even referring me to another store to locate the theme of items I hoped to see.

We were very happy to work with Marina our sales associate (5 Star Service). She was very knowledgeable on the nursery sets. Once we made our choice, we sent our room measurements and she provided a recommended layout to ensure all our furniture selections would fit. She was very quick to respond to any email questions or concerns. Delivery went well - however we learned our nightstand was on backorder (previously in stock). Soon after, their computer system made it seem as though I could schedule the delivery when in reality the nightstand was still on backorder. I reached out to Marina and she found us a brand new boxed nightstand in their store warehouse. We made the purchase that day to complete our set.

Thanks so much to Traci (Visual Lead)I am pregnant with my first baby and she was extremely helpful in showing me all the strollers and their differences. She took her time with us and provided excellent customer service! We loved our visit to Pottery Barn Kids Frisco thanks to Traci!

I love the look and quality of Williams Sonoma company products (pottery barn, pottery barn kids, Williams Sonoma, west elm… they’re all great!) But the in-store experience at this location really falls short of what I expect. The employees, including the GM, are a bit snotty and are not very helpful. I do believe their hands are tied by the corporate policies, and that may contribute to their attitudes in the store when they know they can not help. I was able to get more assistance by customer service (thank you Wanda!)I would love for this store to keep its physical store as it’s helpful to go in and look at products before you buy, but corporate is going to have to help them out by loosening return policies and straightening things out in the back end so they can be more helpful in the store.Hey Pottery Barn/Williams Sonoma companies… go visit a Nordstrom store and learn what customer service should be!

I created a baby registry and it never works when I log in. I needed help twice and every time I had to call. I called today and got a super snob lady on the phone who acted like she didn’t care. I bought a car seat and never opened the box and she was giving me a hard time about sending me a copy of a receipt to my email. She said their system doesn’t allow to forward receipts. Called the 1800 number to see if they can price match the sale price at Nordstrom and they refused! They have only 30 day return policy! Don’t get fooled by the employees when they say “oh this car seat and stroller NEVER goes on sale” it definitely did at Nordstrom $25 cheaper! But pottery barn doesn’t care and won’t help you! It’s better to spend money at bigger department stores with better return and exchange policy than this fancy store which is a money grab!

Every time I walk into this store there are maybe only 1-2 associates working and almost every time they are located at the back, not in the front. There is no way to signal to them that you are there and need their assistance (no bell, no chime sound when a customer walks in, etc.).Today, there were two associates helping a customer, they paid zero attention to the front end of the store. I patiently waited and waited and they utterly ignored me. Did the customer really need both of them to help? It mostly sounded like chitchat…Finally someone from the stock room came out to assist me with the order I had come to pick up. I presume she saw me on a camera from the back stock room, bc she had inventory papers in her hand???Why are the floor associates unable to handle 2 customers in the store at once? It shouldn’t be a big ask to be greeted and assisted upon arrival or at least within a few minutes of arrival.

I had the worst ever shopping experience at Pottery Barn Kids and do not recommend anyone else to make a purchase at this retailer. I placed an online order of a baby dresser two months ago, but the product is still not delivered so far. There have been no communication or email updates from Pottery Barn Kids during the past two months. Then I started contacting their customer service. Each time I called, they didn't know where the product was and kept pushing the estimated delivery date further. One of the call reps kept transfering my call back and forth to create multiple call logs on their system to make me look like an unreasonable customer and eventually hung up on me without providing any solution to the issue. In addition, Pottery Barn Kids was unwilling to refund the white glove shipping cost they charged even though I never receive the product. I was furious when I found out this exact same dresser was sold on Amazon and Target with same week delivery and came pre-assembled. It turned out the $159 white glove delivery fee was a complete scam at Pottery Barn Kids!

I thought the customer service was absolutely awful. First they were way to sales pitchy like I’m about to deliver my baby why would I go in there if I wasn’t trying to buy. Secondly I asked if “do y’all have any navy blue brine on floor?” The sales person just went on a rant trying to show me different cribs that weren’t navy blue and I kept saying I just want to see the one that is navy blue. She would not stop and she got mad at me saying “can you just listen to me” mind you I’m the one that is literally about to pop because I’m close due date and I’m the customer willing to spend the money. That is no way to treat a customer who I about to drop tons a of money on a nursery plus someone who is pregnant. If you want the sale you need to listen to the customer needs.

Christa is so knowledgeable and answered all of my many questions... from what's in stock, to when items could be delivered, to what's the difference between these car seats, to how to switch the stroller from front to rear facing. Night and day experience from the other baby store I checked out. You can tell she truly cares about customers.

Very rude sales staff. Instead of helping, they are just gossiping about customers. I walked in wanting to make a purchase and left with a sour taste. They certainly need better training and if the customers they serve are not to their standards maybe to seek a job at a different place. No PB customer should be treated poorly considering the hefty price each item costs.
