Made an appointment to get tires fixed coz of nails, when i got to the appointment 10mins early was told 45 min wait. Well after 45 mins was still sitti there and vehicl wasnt even brought around yet. It literally took an 1abd half to get then to put a soare tire on coz they couldn't even do the repair.

I had an air conditioning hose break. My husband looked at it and found it and sent me there. He goes there for his corp. account. He heavy set, unshaven man at the front area tried to talk me into a $69 diagnostic. A diagnostic test wont show a broken hose. When I said that then he said it would be $50 to visually inspect the air conditioning hose. I may be female but I am not stupid. My husband sent me there with what was wrong and what hose was broken. I guess since I was female they thought they could get over.

Do not use Pep Boys of Frisco. They are very unprofessional. I had an appointment that I scheduled out a week in advance and dropped my car off that morning. They knew they were never gonna get to my car when I dropped it off yet they kept my car for 4 1/2 hours before they called to tell me that they were never gonna be able to get to it that day.

I came in yesterday, 2/6, and they told me that it would take about 3 hours to get an oil change so I made an appointment for today, 2/7, at 11:30am this morning.They didn’t bring my truck in the bay to start until 12:32pm. Why tell people to make an appointment??? I was expecting this oil change to take 30 minutes max. It took almost two hours till they finished. There is NO urgency at this place and NO communication with their customers. I will take my business elsewhere next time, for something as easy as an oil change. Really bad experience. I wouldn’t recommend this place.

Go anywhere else. ANYWHERE ELSE. The appointment time is not accurate, they can’t do a dimple alignment without messing it up, they are understaffed which doesn’t help.Go elsewhere. Save the headaches.

I'm pretty disappointed in how I was treated this evening. I realize after leaving dinner at 6:30 that I had a screw in my tire. At that point the only option was pep boys. I called them and told them I was on my way but the gentleman who answered the phone quickly told me he was with a customer and he put me on hold. I took the chance and headed out for the 3.5 Mile drive.When I arrived I was not greeted at all but yet stood there in their lobby still on hold for another 15 or 20 minutes.At that point I got the gentleman's attention that was checking a customer out asking him if there's any way possible I could get my tire fixed because I was having to drive all the way back up towards Denton home with my kid.He told me that they had already shut everything down and that he would not be able to help me.I even asked him if he would be willing to help me change my spare as I was there pretty much helpless.He told me he was not able to do so... (Now mind you they haven't closed yet...it's about 7 mins till they do) That's when a very kind customer sitting in the lobby told me that he would help me. If it wasn't for the customer I would have definitely been stranded 40 miles away from home.The guy at the register told me I could leave my car there and they could fix it in the morning but like I said I told him I was 40 miles away from home and had to get back. Even knowing my situation he wasn't willing to go above and beyond.So since it was a big sign on their door that said to give them a five-star rating on Google I felt it was only necessary to properly review this location. I will not be visiting any pep boys anytime soon.Disappointed to say the least. I wonder if the guy working would ever let that happen do his girlfriend, his sister, wife or his mom...Instead I drove home on several freeways going 50 mph with my hazards on scared out of my mind.... I was the only one there originally. I thought it would take 30 minutes max. It took over a hour just for them to realize they couldn’t fix the leak in the tire and give me my car back. It’s like everyone has no urgency. I need to get back to work.

Went in for a broken piece on my bakflip bed cover. Not only did they have the piece in stock, but they installed it. I was in and out in 15 minutes and I didn't even have an appointment.

On 12/4/2023, we went to Pep Boys located at 9215 Warren Pkwy, Frisco, TX 75034 and bought lifetime for $169.94 for wheel alignment for our MDX 2022. They did the wheel alignment but the guy did not tighten the toe rod bolt and nuts and not initially inform my wife. Immediately after few minutes of leaving, my wife observed all alarms go off and she returned to pep boys. They said that the toe rod nuts and bolts are not tightening and that they need to be replaced. When we have the car for wheel alignment, there was no issue with toe rod or bolts. We thought of wheel alignment as we got the new tires couple of weeks ago. They told we need to go to dealer to get them replaced and that they will be covered. They literally sent us on the road knowing full extent of danger of driving with no proper toe road and bolts in place. They failed to inform us that it is not safe to drive on the road. They only informed we need to go to dealer. After 3 weeks, we observed that the car is swinging left and right and we had to go to Acura dealership on 12/27/2023 and they checked and said that the toe road but and bolts were very loose and it’s not safe to drive the vehicle. They needed to be replaced and they also said whoever did the wheel alignment caused the toe rod nuts and bolts damage. They had to order the replacement parts and they said it will be ready on 1/2/2024. They charged $482.05. We are very shocked with this whole experience and their disregard for safety of their customers.

Complete nightmare. Made an appointment and scheduled our day around the appointment. It was a simple inspection. They said it would be ready in an hour (takes 20 min for inspection) came back a little over an hour later and the car had not moved. No communication during that hour either.

I had an appointment for four new tires. Now I have been to Discount Tire and other places and I only went to Pep Boys for the Black Friday sale on tires. I was expecting to be in and out in an hour however two hours and twenty five minutes later my vehicle finally had four new tires. I didn’t get the alignment just four tires and balancing. Over two hours is a bit ridiculous when discount tire can replace four tires in less than 30 minutes. Someone came in for a battery replacement and they told him 2.5 hours

Very time consuming... you would still wait even after having appointment. They made me to wait 30 mins to get my car. After inspection, the advisor took almost an hour to provide me the quotation. The quotation prices are 40% higher than competitors. Atlast choosen couple of filters to be replaced for faster service and they made to wait for 45 mins and still the filters didn't arrive. Had to cancel everything, pay for inspection and has to come out of the place with a huge disappointment. It took almost 3.5 hours for nothing. The suspension inspection is free in most of the competitor stores where as it is chargeable in PepBoys. Overall the first experience with them itself is very bad and I wouldn't be returning. Very Horrible.

The staffs were extremely helpful and had a great experience here. Helped me figure out what all was wrong with my car and did a great alignment. Would recommend this place to anyone who is having issues with their car.

Very happy with the level of care at this Pep Boys store. They helped out with a small battery issue that I was having even though I did not have an appointment and had me back on the road in a short amount of time. 5 Stars!
