Awful customer service. The man at the front desk had an awful attitude and just oozed miserable. My friend had purchased a spray tan for me and I was told rudely that I couldn't use it since it was under her name. I didn't even try to argue. (Go to the one down the street! 2 minutes away, the manager and girls are so sweet at that location)

Palm Beach customer since 1981. Perfect for that important event and starting bronze before any beach trip. For me as a natural red head who burns vs tan it is so fun to have a tan! However, I can not be more disappointed lack of leadership and standing behind products they sell. Not once, but twice I bought spray tan in a bottle and both times it leaked out before I could use it. The first time I was sold the product off the shelf and want to believe the staff did not know it was open. When I got home it was spilled all over my tote bag and into my car. The next time I let them know I wanted to take on airplane. They had new packaging and I was assured it would meet the need. However, It spilled all in my suit case and I did not even get to use as intended. After going to the store, emailing and even calling district manager, they refused to replace damaged product or offer ANY resolution. The spill damaged car, tote, clothes , suitcase etc, and I never asked for anything for the cost of cleaning and replacement of those items. If making 50$ is more important than a lifelong customer, something is seriously wrong here and it seems to run deep!

Visited this location today because I wanted to buy lotion during the sale that they were having and had to stop somewhere else in the area. I have never tanned at this location however when speaking to the gentleman that was working I was immediately off put. He seemed annoyed with me asking how much each lotion cost. My friend and I happily stepped aside for him to assist other customers because we didn't want to monopolize his time. Once the desk area was open again, my friend asked if the lotions displayed were the entirety of the inventory because she didn't see the lotion she had recently purchased at another PBT location. He responded by turning up his nose saying he didn't care that production because it was cheap. His attitude made us feel like our business was not welcome there because we were not in the market to spend $100+ on lotions. We left but it definitely put a damper on our afternoon.

I had called yesterday on August 17th to see how many tans I had left and the sales person said I had 1 tan left. Then I drove from Prosper to this specific location because they have better equipment and the girl working today, August 18th (11:35am) said I don't have any tans left and they expired on the 19th. It's the 18th. Not professional at all. Palm Beach Tan isn't great. I've also had unfriendly situations at the prosper location. I will be using Sol Col in Frisco from here on out.

The employees at Palm Beach Frisco are amazing. Landon helped me with products that would benefit my tan needs and Ari the manager helped me expand my knowledge of spraying. I am extremely satisfied with my tan and will be returning in the future!

New customers get priority over loyal ones. I had to wait for a greeting or check in while 2 PBT employees were selling a new client on mystic...the lotions, the color match... the available scents... Only once a line began to form, did I get acknowledged. Then was told this new customer wanted Mysic & I'd be after her. The new customer woman was still sniffing the scent options & looking at colors - nowhere near completing her transaction. I surmised PBT must incentivize landing new clients over retaining current ones.

Been going here. A couple weeks now. I can get in right away even with the lunch rush. The ladies I have been in contact with there are super nice. There are so many options of beds that I had no idea even existed. I love the bronzing beds!!!

My first experience at the Preston location was good. The gal was a transfer, friendly and I signed up for a membership. Her recommendations were spot on. Since then, however, every time I have gone to Palm Beach Tan there has been issues. Eldorado- the pretty girl with the fake eyelashes tells me they got rid of the versa, which works for me and she says they don't have it anymore and they have a new machine. She does not tell me another location has the versa. She clearly doesn't know how to use the new machine because her instructions were way off and I don't think the machine was clean. My feet, legs, face, dark streaks everywhere and embarrassing :( Then, I go back to Preston- it's further, but I discover they still have the machine and the service was much better . They are out of footies and lotion. The next month I go back they are out of the clear solution, footies and lotion. The fifth time I go back they don't stock the room with supplies so I put my clothes back on, go ask the girl if there are footies and a hair cap. They are out of hair caps and lotion but do have footies. These are the services I pay for and seriously?? Every month??? I will be looking for another salon

Staff at this location overall on the younger side—majority seem to be high schoolers (college-aged at most.) Level of professionalism and Customer Service lacking in comparison to the other PBT location up the road that I also frequent.Bulbs in beds by far aren’t as good/strong here either, comparatively-speaking, and the four or five basic music channel options you can choose to tune into during your session to help pass the time that you’re laying in the bed more quickly seem to rarely, if ever, actually work.Despite this store being located much closer to where I live (*5 mins vs. *15-20 mins), I do my best to plan my errands & any ToDo List items for the day strategically enough for it to make some sort of sense at least—my driving a further distance, out of the way, just so I can tan at a different (and in my opinion more preferable) PBT store.

This is the third morning in a row that this business I’m not open at posted business hours. Opens at 8AM or should because that’s what is posted. This affects how one can tan because you have to allow 24hr between tans. I truly have never seen a business care so little about the patrons who keep it open. How can a place not open on time 3 days in a row. I’ll be canceling my membership today and taking my business somewhere else. Picture taken at 8:07 AM.

Today received a call 2 weeks later because she was on vacation and saw it before she left.Gave me every excuse why I was wrong.I have used pbt for ten plus years and only stopped during covid. Can't believe the rude and unprofessional attitude I receivedNever received any response from the Frisco location.i guess hiding from the truth of unprofessionalism. Save your money go any where elseWalked in today spoke to a gentleman with a beard. I have had several years of membership with palm beach tan. I asked about a deal and he quoted me $69 a month for tan and could not find me in the system. I asked why so high he said it was due to business cost. I laughed and left. So being a loyal customer gets you the highest membership cost just walk away no wonder a 3 rating on Google. Poor salesmanship and poor ethics

I wanted to give this place the benefit of the doubt after several bad experiences but I do not think I will be returning here after I use my final spray tans. I’ve been spray tanning for years and been a member at many places before but every single time I have come here I’ve had a bad experience. Usually I am in a rush but it always takes them forever to check me in. They always have issues finding me in the system even though they have my name, phone number, and birth date. They have no idea what they are even selling. Both times I’ve been here I bought a 3 pack of spray tans because I don’t want to be a member/didn’t want to pay $45 just for a booth spray tan. But the worst part is none of the girls know their non-membership offers & pricing. I was told a 3 pack was $75, she charged me then realized that wasn’t the offer then told me it needed to be $90 and then was forced into doing it that way. The most recent time I went they after purchasing another 3 pack in October they told me I hadn’t purchased anything and I had to pull up my bank records to prove I bought anything. They realized they put it under the wrong persons account name and took me 30 minutes just to check in wasting my time when I had places to be. This place really needs to focus on training their employees and treating their customers better.Service: Tanning
