We've been members of Lifetime Fitness for several years in Minneapolis, and became founding members here as a result of that great experience. However, recent changes have significantly impacted our experience.Firstly, the monthly membership fee, which is already quite substantial, now seems even more burdensome with the introduction of additional charges. Courts that were once freely available for members are now often booked for paid leagues, limiting access - that too during peak hours in the evening. Additionally, a paid reservation system for pool areas has been implemented, adding another layer of inconvenience and expense. Moreover, the super loud music in the main workout area has made exercising a hassle unless you are in one of their classes—preferably their paid classes. This has created a rather uncomfortable environment for those of us who prefer a slightly quieter workout session. These changes feel like nickel-and-diming, detracting from the overall value that Lifetime Fitness once provided. While I understand the need for the gym to maintain its financial health, these incremental costs and changes are disappointing and frustrating. They undermine the inclusive, community-oriented experience that initially attracted many of us.Did I say that they also increased the dues by 20%?I hope Lifetime Fitness reconsiders these policies to strike a better balance between financial goals and member satisfaction. Returning to a model that prioritizes accessibility, value, and a comfortable workout environment would greatly enhance the member experience.Pros:Comprehensive facilitiesClean and well-maintainedCons:High membership feesAdditional charges for court and pool reservationsReduced availability of facilitiesLoud music in main workout areasWould I recommend it? Not under the current pricing and reservation policies.Feedback to Management: Please consider reverting to a model that doesn't impose additional charges on top of high membership fees and reduce the loud music in the main workout areas. This would greatly improve member satisfaction and loyalty.

Our whole family has been there since they opened. Very good gym overall. We use the gym, yoga, zumba, and lap pools. Clean, friendly staff. Nice resort feeling in the pool area during summer times. The main complaint from us is that the outdoor lap pool is only for summer use, as it is not heated. Sometimes we drive far to Life time McKinney to use their pool, which is amazing. The gym area is quite crowded at peak hours.

If you’re looking for a personal trainer to help you meet your goals, schedule an appointment with Golf I. He’s knowledgeable in exercise science and will work with you to craft a plan that helps you get where you want to go. His approach to training is encouraging and educational. He’ll get you to push yourself and achieve things you didn’t know you could. Plus, he’ll join you on the pickleball court if you want to learn to play!

Love this gym. The staff is welcoming, the facilities are clean, and the equipment is always functional. I loooove the cafe & the shakes they prepare fresh. During peak hours I never feel like the gym is overly crowded.I can’t imagine myself going to another gym. Highly recommend!

First, if you're looking for a personal trainer, check out Golf Iamaromana. I've worked with him for a couple months and he's helped keep me motivated and on task in the gym. He has a great attitude that'll rub off on you. He really helped me get back into lifting after a long break. As for the gym:Been going here for a while and have been enjoying the amenities. Save for absolute peak times there's always enough power racks available. To my eye everything seems clean. There's plenty of wipe canisters around to use too.

I have been going to this location since it opened and started training with Golf a while back. Golf is really attentive and would go out of his way to help you reach your goals. He also has spent time playing pickleball with me as I have been wanting to learn how to play. Recommend connecting with him if you are looking for a trainer!

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️I've been a member at Life Time Fitness in Frisco for about two weeks now, and I am thoroughly impressed! The facility is impeccably clean and well-maintained, making every workout session refreshing. What really sets this gym apart are the unique amenities it offers, such as the Life Cafe and Life Spa, which you don't typically find at other gyms. These additions make it so convenient to grab a healthy bite or unwind with a spa treatment after a tough workout. Highly recommend to anyone looking to enhance their fitness journey in a luxurious setting!

I have never felt discriminated as I did yesterday going for my workout. I was stopped at the door because I was not supposed to be using the gym at that time of the day. We just came back from vacation of two weeks. We had a lot of other things to do before working out. We usually like to go in before 3pm because it really gets crowded starting at that time. I was told to step to the side and wait for someone to talk to. Now get this, it is both my husband and myself that go together, but I was the only one that was stopped. We use the same insurance, but when I was stopped he mentioned me being on that insurance. We both are in the same insurance. At the time I was waiting, there was someone else that was stopped for the same reason. We like coming to work out at this gym, but just to let you know YOU ARE NOT THE ONLY GYM IN THE AREA.

They are increasing their prices AGAIN! I signed up to this location while they were building it. Obviously they are trying to make me drop out so they can get new members at their I’m sure unjustifiable fees. This is a warming for those thinking of joining. Their current fee doesn’t justify anything. Also, you have to pay extra for classes on top of the membership fee. This is outrageous and another example of pricing gouging.

Weird, all their old fossil locations that need to be brought into the modern age are cheaper than this location and have availability. But not worth the price. This location is a mile away from me but triple the price of other locations. Meaning all charges considered it’s a wash. You don’t save any money regardless of location. The older locations have lower ratings on Google this location with a few other newer location have higher ratings but much higher prices and a waitlist.I have to drive out 30 miles round trip daily just to go to different locations when this one is just a mile away.Common trend I see for life time reviews is this. Rocketing prices and decline in quality and experience.Back in 2008 they where the example gym for all other gyms. But over time they became just as horrible as the other gyms.Corporate really needs to dig back to their roots of 2008 and go back to being the gym they used to be.At one point they were 24 hours. And this was the highest quality of the gym in my view. They consistently maintained quality and experience. And today all this is gone. They reply to reviews saying they have opportunities to improve and say they will look to fix the problem but they don’t.Simple ban phone cameras from common workout areas. Others shouldn’t be forcibly filmed against their will it’s not a recording studio it’s a gym.Maintain a consistent cleaning schedule where routinely throughout the day we can see you all cleaning the place up.Stop increasing the darn price if your quality keeps tankingTake care of your buildings. Burnt lights, rust, mold, and broken handles don’t look good for a gym that charges so much money. And if you brought back 24 hours this would be gold. But I know you won’t.If you made this far, don’t consider this specific gym unless you’re rich. And have money to set fire to and burn away.Chose one or the other locations that has everything thing gym does at a lesser price.Life time need to come back to reality.

Visiting this place was disappointing. The main issues were overcrowded and lack of parking space. On top of that, the staff were extremely rude, which didn't help the overall experience. The management of the pickleball courts was another letdown. They seem to cater mostly to beginners, leading to the courts being constantly overrun and making it nearly impossible for more experienced players to enjoy a game. It's no surprise that the higher-level players have decided to avoid this place.
