My daughter (9) was really excited to go here. We came from out of town (GA) to visit friends and go to KidZania. When we purchased tickets online it gave time windows so we chose the 5-7 time window. We got there a little early but didn’t go in because we figured it had to be at that designated start time. So we went in and by the time she finished the Easter egg hunt activity, we were being told that the last activity is at 6:30 because they close at 7! Meanwhile, if you search KidZania and this specific location in maps, it says that it is open until 9pm. She had a voucher for a free pizza and it says to pick it up by 6pm because again, they start closing everything down. We walked up to the counter at about 5:55 and there were so many employees just standing around and finally someone told us they were closed already. We finally spoke to the manager and she mentioned that we could have come at any time and that the time windows really don’t mean much. My thing is, even if it did mean that we only had 2 hours of play time, why would you start closing things an hour into it? All the other time windows got their full 2 hours of play and cafe time right? So, between 6 and 6:30 my daughter kept trying to go to other activities but since there were lines for a lot of the ones she really wanted to do, they would block off the end of the line. I could tell she was getting really upset and as excited as she was for this place, I hated seeing her this disappointed. By the time we left, she was starving and completely unimpressed. It would have been great if we knew all the stipulations but even when checking in at the front they did not mention the closing time and nothing in the ticket confirmation email mentioned it either. I would love to take my daughter again because it is a great place for kids to learn a lot and have fun but it will be awhile. I hope this helps anyone planning to go for the first time.

Great concept, a lot to be desired. I want to start off by saying we went during spring break, and it was absolutely packed, which I should have considered ahead of time, so it may be less crowded during normal times. It was so crowded that the air conditioner couldn’t keep up, so it was extremely warm despite it being very cool outside. We had an extremely difficult time getting around as one of our party has mobility issues and there wasn’t much in the way of accessibility (there was an elevator and handicap stalls in the restrooms.)There are no clear instructions when you first walk in, but we found the information both and were told to go to the bank. The back took my daughter’s play money and “opened an account l” and put her money on a credit card. She did a few jobs and when we went to the store to use her money, we were told the card was never activated. Every activity was a 20-45 minute wait, including purchasing food. The building is visually stunning, with a realistic city and awesome local businesses. The hospital/ emergency room was so much fun for my daughter and she loved riding the ambulance and getting to be a paramedic.I think most of our problem was the massive crowd, and I think they could benefit by limiting the number of people they allow in at different blocks of time.We wont be returning, but if you have the ability to go there on a non-holiday weekday you might have a better experience.

I went with my younger cousins and they loved it! They couldn't wait to go to all of the shops and begged to stay. The food was also pretty good. I will definitely come back again! ?

Me and my kids had an amazing time at the Dallas kidzania. Every staff member was so nice and friendly. I want to give a shoutout to Jessica and Naja who had a special bond with my kids and made their trip extra special. Thank y’all so much for an amazing experience.

Cool concept but poorly executed. They are overpriced and minimally staffed. We bought the top tier ticket for 3 adults and 2 kids which came out to about $250. The more sought after attractions had long lines that took over an hour and kids would cut the line right as they opened forcing those who had been waiting further back. Some of the jobs were closed or broken like the firefighter activity, 7/11, and the tv studio. Even the lines to get any food were incredibly long with only one employee working (with no sense of urgency whatsoever) to the point where it took over 30 minutes just to get a fountain soda. We attempted to bring a bottle of water in but they even confiscated it as we entered. The more popular jobs they make the kids pay to work at like the construction or firefighting instead of earning kidzos (their currency) My sister was sitting on a bench waiting for her son at an activity, and some other kids pretending they were police came and gave her a $2000 ticket for being “suspicious.” Not a good look when you’re already creating a poor experience for people. After waiting in lines for over 2 hours and only being able to do 3 activities with the kids, we decided to leave. Before you leave you can stop at their store and buy merchandise with the kidzos. It was another letdown as the choices were essentially all overpriced balls and single pieces of candy for essentially all the money you had earned. (Think the machines you put 25 cents in). My family was visiting from out of state for 4 days and the fact that we wasted so much time and money here makes me sad. In summary, This place is a total money grab, and I would not recommend it. (Although it looks cool from the outside).

Would love to give this place 5 stars BUT for kids under 4 there is nothing for them to do. My son is also on the spectrum and was afraid to be without a parent or companion so I’d love if there were more options for them. Also after they do all that work, we get talked into the $15 dollar passport for our daughter to earn more money…the gift shop( tospend their money in )is a joke. Literally $35 “dollars” to get a small candy! And they had NOTHING in there to buy. It was fun for my daughter to learn but i felt awful for my son who couldn’t do anything. Another family of a 3 year old even gave us their leftover “money” because they left due to there being no options for the smalls. I’d say go one time but then save your money!

1. Severe lack of seating and waiting spaces for parents. Why not put several benches in front of every spot?! Instead, there’s 1 bench on every other block. Parents just have to stand. Such a simple and cheap fix, yet no one cares.2. Every station is understaffed and under capacity. The pilot training station could be taking 10 or 12 kids at a time. Yet they only take 4!(!!!) every 25 minutes. The rock climbing station could be taking 5 or 6, but only takes 4 at a time. As a result, the lines are long and painful. We paid $80 for 1 child and 1 adult and barely squeezed in 5 stations in 2.5 hrs. Ridiculous!Overall, lots of potential, yet bad execution.

Family Trip to KidZania was the absolute worst experience ever! Extremely overwhelming and overstimulating. Waited over an hour to order and get food that was hardly decent. The lines to do anything were very long. In 3 hrs we were able to do 3 things. Scheduled to make pizza and left before our scheduled time. It definitely wasn't worth the wait , money, or time. Very pricey, would not revisit.

Do NOT book a field trip here! They overbook their field trips. Therefore, they do NOT allow more than 3 parents to attend the field trip. Last year they didn’t allow any. They have a complete disregard for parents and completely unapologetic for robbing parents and children of these few field trip experiences together. As if we didn’t have enough of these opportunities taken from us during COVID.According to previous reviews they don’t seem to encourage parental interaction and involvement of any kind. They don’t even allow parents in the exhibits with their children and whomever is responding to these reviews literally told a parent they can buy tickets for their children and drop them off since it’s extremely expensive to get in and pay to just stand there and look at your child. I don’t even know what to think about that because it’s so offensive and such an unsafe suggestion that I am just stunned they even suggested that. This is not the kind of education I want my children to receive. Parents are the reason you have money in your pockets and keep your doors open, yet you don’t allow them? This may be the most poorly ran business I have seen. This may be why they struggle to stay in business. Clearly, they are not too concerned though because all I got from the management was an “I’m sorry you feel this way” and then sent me their business hours to be nite me to bring my kids on a day that’s open to the public.

This place is probably great if you've got a 10 year old girl who is into rules. We paid a bunch of money so our kid could wait in a bunch of lines then get stressed that he was using up his money.
