I bought a light blue sport coat for an event in 2 weeks, solely because it matched the color theme for an event. I went in to exchange my jacket for a bigger size. There were 3 employees none of them cared to greet me (not a big deal) but lady that helped me appeared like she was doing me a favor, felt rushed while answering my questions and I could tell she wanted me out asap…. I was embarrassed to ask her for help lol. In the end I told her I’ll just figure it out and left the store.
There is a reason why I stopped shopping at Jos A Banks ever since I discovered suitsupply, JHillburn, pinniparma, etc. They have great sales people, they make you feel welcome and are super knowledgeable.

My displeasure is when I came to pickup my purchased clothing that required alterations. I walked in the store, I noticed a man that was on the other of the store who didn't say anything when I walked in, so I thought he was a customer. I went to the back of the store where the alterations are done and didn't see anyone working there so I walked back to the front of the store. The man in the store asked If he could help me. I told him I was there to pickup my altered clothing. He went to the back and he returned with my clothes and handed it to me. I asked him his name and he said it was "Chuck". I told him that I was accustomed to my suits be placed in a store provided suit bag. Therefore, he reached below the store counter and place my suit, sport coat and dress slacks in the long bag. I also noticed no store issued name tag was on the employee of which Chuck stated the store don't provide one. Obviously this is one of the reasons why I initially wasn't sure whether he was an employee or a customer. From all indication this store location requires training in customer service.

Down right rude staff. The manager cursed at me when he himself could not find my reservation. He was not helpful and tried to blame his mistake on me. He trying to show how much power he had as the event was coming up. Worse place I have been, would not recommend if you want a place that actually cares about you.

Positive: Great selection of jackets in the Sale section, impressed with quality and fit.Negative: Cold and disrespectful customer service from one staff member, seemingly most senior on their team. Felt humiliated and unwelcome. He looked at us as if we don’t belong there. But was pretty courteous towards some other customers. So why the selective discrimination? Because we dint order a custom tailored suit?

Customer service was good - knowledgeable staff. Offerings were a little limited compared to other Jos A. Bank locations I have been to across the U.S.

Didn’t hate this experience but honestly didn’t love it. This store is too disorganized. Then the guy was acting like I bothered him bc they didn’t press my pants correctly. Then I told him my shirt was too small, he asked where and I said the body, he then asked but the neck fits and I replied yes…. He then told me to try the shirt on again…. Bro no I’m 31 years old I know when a shirt is too small. I’m also going to have to get the entire rental dry cleaned bc it not up to standard for a wedding. For the price of the rental…. I’m not too happy

I never write reviews, but I bought my other suits elsewhere and I ended up being disappointed down the road. I got my first suit from Jos A. Bank and not only is the suit perfectly tailored, but the staff was also incredible as well. Extremely happy with my new suit and will be getting the rest of my suits from Jos A. Bank!
