I had a really poor experience and I had a young girl as well maybe in her early 20s like Mohamed. She cut over two inches from the top and was still cutting before I told her to stop. I had clearly asked for one inch from the top. The top was cut very unevenly and she was very rough, frankly I could’ve cut it better myself. At one point, I thought she was going to pull my hair apart. The sides were faded way too high and it looked like a joke of a cut.
Absolutely agree with Gangader and Mohamed’s reviews.
My family jokes she made me bald that’s how much hair she cut.

I recently had a disappointing experience at this salon. The stylist, a young girl who seemed to be a teenager, did a poor job with my haircut. I noticed unevenness in the back, and when I pointed it out, she gave a strange explanation, claiming that my hair doesn’t grow in that area—something I’ve never encountered in the 25 years I’ve been getting haircuts.
She didn’t take responsibility for her mistake and was unwilling to address the issue. On top of that, she cut my hair much shorter than I had requested, even though I had asked for a medium-length cut. It felt like she was in a rush, and I barely had the chance to stop her.
I’m not trying to discourage her but feel she needs to work under supervision until she gains more experience.

Not sure if people here wants to really do the job. Went today for haircut and the lady (probably a manager) is more interested and distracted with everything else other than the haircut. In places she did not touch and some places she cut it to the scalp. When asked she said that someone shaved the front of my head. I told her that no one touched it except her and she insisted that someone else shaved part of my head . Unbelievable!
Please pay attention to the haircutting!!!

Yesterday (11/4/2024) was the worst haircut experience in my life.
The young lady, she does not even listen to you what you are saying. She just does it her way. For the first, I regret not reading the reviews. I completely agree with previous reviews.
Never ever will visit this store again.
And they better take out their sign on the door saying fancy words that they only have certified hairstylists.
Stylist: Worst hair stylist.

First time here and it was awful. They have a barber that idk if she’s new or what but it’s really bad on everything. I told her to lower me a little higher with scissors and she used the machine because she wanted to and was rude the whole time. Terrible experience.

I had the pleasure of getting my hair done by Malissa, and I can confidently give her a 10/10 rating! From the moment I walked in, she was incredibly welcoming and made me feel at ease. She asked all the right questions and was super friendly and patient with the many questions I had.
I opted for a shoulder-length layered bob, and Malissa followed my instructions perfectly while offering plenty of great suggestions for styling my hair day-to-day. She really understood my preferences, and the final look exceeded my expectations! It suits my face shape perfectly, and I couldn't be happier with the outcome.
The price was reasonable, especially since I found an online coupon that made it fit perfectly within my budget. The service was definitely worth every penny, and I will absolutely be returning. If you're considering a new haircut, I highly recommend asking for Malissa!

Hope this Review helps others, and Wish I would have reviewed Mohamed review before visiting this location, and if you are reading this review, please make a vise chose, do not waste your Time and Money coming to this location, staff do not care about customers, and rude to the customers, we should not entertain such business.
Coming to the experience :
* I came with my son to get the haircut for both of us, with an online check in.
* No Welcome, that's ok.. but started with my address checking, and it needs an update, which I do want to do at the moment, and that's when the lady started being rude to me, and ignored all the instructions for the haircut, and did a haircut for my son.
* It is absolutely the worst Haircut he ever got, haircut is totally uneven, and instructions are not to trim a lot, but he got a totally short haircut, with totally uneven hair.
* Once my haircut was done, she did not want to do my haircut, and referred me to a diff style, the way she referred to it is really rude.. "I don't want to cut your hair, you can go and get the haircut with her "
* Now I went to other lady to get my hair cut, and see seems to be better than her, when I was requesting and showing her who I Combe, and how I want to get the haircut, her answer is ... "we don't do that, we do by number", completely messed my hair.. she doesn't even try to understand what a customer really wants.. if so .. why do they need to really run this store..
worst experience ever, I definitely will not visit this store again, and will make sure others are aware of the rude behavior of this store..
If there is a store manager.. please act on the situation.. and make sure the behavior of the store employees is changed accordingly.. no one wants to entertain such behavior..

This grumpy old lady who was probably the manager was my hair cutter, and she was very rude, and she was confused. She asked my what do I want, I told her I wanted a fade and then she told me to shut up. And then later she told me that she meant if I wanted it long or short. This left me confused and annoyed. She also made my right side shorter than my left haircut. So basically I didnt have a say in my hair cut. Waste of 20$.

Just had my hair cut done and its the worst… she started bitching about her old staff and telling they are good.. hair cut was so bad and didnt follow any instructions and they really dont care about what i am saying.. she was literally in hurry to completed and messed up… very very bad hair cut and experience and not sure why she is very rude…

I usually go to this great clips as I live very close by. Today on Aug 20 2024, went and I found a kid welcoming me in and she must around 16 or 17 with lose and unclean T-Shirt. From the start she was rude by asking me my address and she talked random stuff which is fine. She also had a loose clippers in her trimmer, which I asked if she has another one as it's easy for it to fall and cut deeper, she said no and continued. Later without asking she did her own way and messed up my hair cut, when I asked she said I need to talk more. While I was looking paying she was rolling her eyes. When I complained to other stylist, the kid was shouting from the back, can you leave...
I asked her name, she said Emily, which I am not sure if it's her real name. She was not respectful, I wonder why would Great clips appoint a kid who doesn't know how to respect. You are charging $20 for a simple haircut and I expect a fair treatment. I and my family would never go back to this store.

I typically avoid writing negative reviews, but I also believe in fair treatment. On 8/10/24 at 1:24 PM, I called to ask about getting my daughter’s hair washed. Dana answered the phone, and her response was disappointingly rude. When I asked whether I needed to check in online or could walk in for a hair wash, she curtly informed me that they weren’t doing hair washes that day because it was "back to school." When I tried to inquire further about when they might resume, she abruptly replied, "NOT TODAY!" I found her tone and attitude unprofessional and unwelcoming.
I then contacted another nearby location to ask the same question, and they were much more polite and accommodating—they were also offering hair washes that day.
I won’t be returning to this location.
