They say to look at the fruit of a tree to find evidence of what it is. Here’s some samples of the fruit.
I’ve been going to this church since 2019 and have seen it through the crazy COVID years and into a new church building. Lots of change through the years. The one constant has been the heart of the ministry, which in my experience is everything. Pastor Tim and Carrie embody a commitment to living, teaching, and abiding by God's Word, even when it's countercultural and not the latest trend of what’s in it for me. Their dedication has profoundly impacted my entire family.
This church and our small groups have been an anchor for my husband and daughter through the trials and triumphs of the last 5 + years.
I saw these pastors give generous checks to other struggling churches when they themselves were not in the best place financially during Covid. They did it anyway.
I’ve seen first hand the outpouring of prayers, support and love from countless members of this church with my brother in law when he has been in the hospital. And again with my father in law in the months leading up to his passing. The counseling to my mother in law at her house in the days that followed. They didn’t ask for a dime when they held his funeral at the church. All for a man who wasn’t even a church member. They offered anyway.
And again the people of this church were there for my mother in law when she became ill. The visits, the prayers, the counseling and support.
The stories go on and on for my family and so many others. These are but just a small sampling of the fruit my family has experienced.
Yes, the heart of GM is, was, and will always be… it is ALL ABOUT THE PEOPLE.
May your family be blessed to have such a church in your life.

I have been going to Genesis Metro since 2018. I have never met a church so willing to put the people first and preach the Word of God in a way where every sermon speaks to you individually. I have watched my child grow close to Jesus and grow up as a young adult. I have witnessed life change over and over and seen the spirit of the Lord move in others on a daily basis. I have seen the Pastors, the elders and the staff go above and beyond time and time again for every single person who walks in their doors. Genesis Metro has made me a better husband, a better father, a better man and I am forever grateful. If you want a church who will care for you, inspire you, guide you and help you become the person God meant you to be….look no further

I absolutely love this church. The worship is powerful, the sermons are moving, and the people here are very welcoming. Growing up, I never really liked church, and I was very distant from God. However, this church has taught me to step out of my comfort zone, have faith, and open my heart to God. The lead pastor, Tim, preaches with high energy and extreme emotion; emotions you would never see if he only cared about the money. He cares about LIFE CHANGE, JESUS and PEOPLE. He will speak to you, or rather, GOD WILL SPEAK TO YOU through him. I have found comfort here, and I know you will too.

My family and I love Genesis Metro Church. Their commitment to helping people grow in their relationship with the Lord is evident in everything they do. My kids are blessed to be part of a church that truly cares for them. Pastor Tim’s messages are firmly rooted in the Bible.

Started attending GM a little over 4 years ago. It didn’t take long before “attending” turned into “belonging”. GM has been a light in the lives of my family. I wouldn’t be where I am in my walk without PT’s messages of faith and community.

My family and I have been coming to GM now for about five years. We moved here from out of state, and honestly Genesis metro has been an anchor for my family as we started to grow our roots here in Dallas. Both Pastor Tim and Carrie bring the Word to life in real practical applications that you can carry with you through the week. Sundays are amazing at GM, but it’s also the life groups and the community. This is a community of believers that know they’re broken and are in need of a Savior, and they never miss a moment to show you they care. In my five years here, i’ve been a witness to so much life change and I can’t wait to see what God has in store for the years to come.

My family has attended this church since 2005 and we have found the people to be authentic and caring. The doctrine is sound and there are so many ways to connect with other people. If you are looking for a great place to worship, I highly recommend you give it a try.

Great church. The pastor is very engaging and not boring at all. You will learn a lot about the word, straight from the Bible. Friendly, loving people everywhere and great programs for youth. Come join us and see for yourself!

If you have any sort of unresolved trauma - stay clear.I attended the 9 am service on “child dedication” to support my friends. I had done a bit of research so I wasn’t blindsided. It is a beautiful building and I can see the surface appeal - however - not one person approached us in welcome, not a single person. Aside from that the sermon was appalling - there were domestic violence jokes - which a good portion of the congregation found funny. There was also a lot of shaming. None of which is actually biblical unless you are cherry picking your verses. Again I wasn’t surprised. We had other friends with us that had such negative reactions to the sermon they had to leave .It is flashy, it is pretty, but it is ugly under the surface
