The Frisco Discovery Center, owned and managed by the City of Frisco, offers a variety of art, science, and cultural experiences for residents and visitors. It houses the Frisco Art Galleries, Black Box Theater, a dance studio, and three partner museums: Sci-Tech Discovery Center, TrainTopia, and the National Videogame Museum. The center is a valuable resource for the community, providing access to art, history, education, and entertainment. Visitors enjoy exploring the science and technology exhibits, where children can build and launch air-powered cars and rockets, and engage with interactive stations like sand topology maps and maker studios. The center features fun activities such as playing classic video games like PacMan, Donkey Kong, and Mortal Kombat, along with nostalgic displays of computers and gaming consoles from the 80s. The National Videogame Museum offers a particularly popular, interactive experience that appeals to families and those who grew up with video games from the 70s, 80s, and 90s. While the center is praised for its engaging and educational offerings, some visitors feel that additional staff would improve the experience, especially in managing disruptive visitors. Overall, the Frisco Discovery Center is a lively place for families to learn, explore, and enjoy art, science, and entertainment.

I went to see the video game museum, and it was like looking into my past. They had everything in the history of it. It was truly a surreal experience. I highly recommend any GenX or early Millennial to come and visit. Young and old will enjoy the experience.

This is a great, fun and interactive place. I brought my oldest and youngest nephews and they have a great time learning about the different games. It was clean, easy parking and the staff were friendly. They included 5 tokens with each ticket entrance so you could play some games.
