I came inside wanting to look at new vehicles and I was totally ignored by the receptionist, sales staff and sales managers who let me walk around the inside of the dealership while the not ONE SINGLE PERSON offered to help me. And after an UNBELIEVABLE 20 minutes of being ignored, not ONE EMPLOYEE cared enough to stop texting or to look up and do their job. And only after awhile then did this sales advisor looking to defend his receptionist honor, began berating me and was totally condesending, until finally I walked out! If you're an elderly person, and you want to be insulted...then come here!

Avoid these guys if you can. Our car started running poorly, so thinking the best place to take it for service would be the experts at a local dealership. We took our Honda Accord in and let them know the recent problem that we were having with the car. A few hours later they called and said they had looked at it and it was ready to go. Instead of making specific recommendations or putting the car on their machines for analysis to find out exactly what the problem was, they gave us a list of suggested maintenance and upgrades to the vehicle that included replacing the engine and transmission for an estimated $24,000+. The useless list cost us around $250. Shocked at the lack of actual work on the vehicle and lack their of interest in helping us with their expertise, we took the car to a local independent mechanic's shop. Within two hours the independent shop called us back and let us know the second catalytic converter needed to be removed and replaced. We approved the work and it took the mechanic the rest of the day to locate the part and install it. $600 later the car runs perfectly. No new engine. No new transmission. It seems that the mechanic's shop at david mcdavid doesn't actually want to repair the cars they sell. They want to convince you to trade your car in so they can sell you a new one. This is our fourth Honda and if this is the way the Honda dealerships in the US support their cars after they are sold, this may be our last Honda. We are very disappointed.

Purchased my vehicle at this place and within a month I started having issues. I called to get this inconvenience of a problem resolved and was told they could not help I would have to take the vehicle there so if I was to breakdown on my way there it would be my problem. If you're looking for a car stick to Toyota of Dallas! I know many great sales woman and man there! I tried to give honda my business but with this problem I have learned my lesson not to shop there and please do not shop there. Reach out to Toyota of Dallas they will definitely take care of you there and literally treat you like family ! If you need to know what sales person to go to I can give you their Contact for Toyota of Dallas! Do not shop at Honda of FriscoUpdate on that review I had to take my vehicle to a mechanic that was able to find the issue I brought to Hondas attention when my car was under warranty. Honda wanted to charge a fee of almost 200 too diagnose the issue. This place is a joke be careful with the service department they will charge you ridiculous amount of fees and blow you off when you're under warranty to find the issue

I came to your dealership today to look for a SUV for my daughter. A salesman accompanied us to his desk and started getting requirements on what we were interested in. I told specifically that we were there just to look at cars and not intended to buy. Additionally, it was also communicated that we are open for both new and used cars with manufacturer warranty. The guy suggested there are two he can lineup to see. As we were speaking about the same, also asked about hybrids and told I was interested in checking out those as well. At that moment, the guy kind of laughed so I kind of asked why he was laughing as I felt offended and told him the same. He said he was not sure what car I wanted and replied back saying he did not want to do any business further with me and tore the paper right in front of me. I did not want to make a big deal and left your dealership. Is this way you guys do business with customers? When a customer walks in, many times we don't know what we want or features we need. As a sales person one has to accommodate that which definitely this guys did not. I am sorry to say this but you all need to invest in proper training in people management.

This is my story how I bought Honda Odyssey in another dealership.I decided to give a scon chance to dealership where manager did not get back to me first time.I was really surprised to see same manager trying to take care of me.This time situation started in a similar way - I waited for around 30 minutes till manager will decide to go back to me after greetings.I was patient this time and described that I'd like to get a brand new Honda Oddesey and I need financing.I was stunned when he invited me to sit on his working place, unblocked his PC, and told my to putt all the information in the form for financing, and runned away again. After few minutes I realised that basicaly I'm doing his work, so I leaved that place and had a brand new car in about an hour at another dillership.I'm really sorry that Sam Maddin had to leave client second time in a row.Hope he managed everything needed.Really busy man.

I have a very low mileage 2012 audi that I need to get serviced. I'm visiting family in town and decided to call for an appointment. And without taking a look at the car the dealership "Alicia" In service told me they don't touch cars older than 10 yrs old. I've gone to almost every audi dealership in my home stay and some near ones with no issues.

I bought a 2020 Chevy Impala with 60k miles. The car was sold "as is." I understand what "as is" means, but the power steering completely failed after TWO WEEKS of use. I contacted McDavid to see if there was anything they could do to help. The service department reported that the power steering rack needed to be replaced for a price of $4,000+ dollars. I explained that I had driven barely 100 miles before it failed. McDavid's response was, "You should've bought the extended warranty. There's nothing we can do."Again, I understand that "as is" means the car will not be issue-free, but if the car fails -- despite their much touted 160-point inspection -- in under two weeks, it seems that the dealership should do SOMETHING to help make things right instead of shrugging me off. As of today, I am awaiting a call from the General Manager to see if there's anything they can do.

Complete Disappointment!!!This is our 4th Honda car overall and first with this dealership. We love the new car but had a disappointing purchase experience with this dealership. We decided to buy 2023 CRV and reached out to one of their sales associate (dnt want to mention any names). He was proactive and followed up with the details we needed. The car had dealer added cost which I asked if that could be removed. Associate asked his manager who promised that if we come with a check then we could talk/have deal. We recently had a newborn baby who was settling at home at the time and was bit distressed and the mom was nursing too. I specifically mentioned this to these folks and wanted to close the deal as early as possible as we wanted the car on the mom's name. When we reached the dealership, spoke to the associate who was very professional and took our numbers and took it to the manager who came to us after a bit and said NO DEAL to our faces. It was very rude and very unprofessional. We understand sometimes the dealing numbers can be lowball and there is always scope for negotiation which this manager failed in all angles. We left the place very disappointed. We actually had Accord which we wanted to trade in and upgrade to new CRV. Next day I used AmEx auto purchase program to get trade in value for our current car and wanted to close the car purchase with the dealership who is a certified dealership in the program. Again, the same Sales guy was very good in coordinating the purchase but he didnt have any authority with the numbers at all. We didnt get the value for the trade in that we expected but still proceeded with the purchase. We downed minimum amount with AmEx credit card to be eligible for their Auto Purchase program and added some extra services talking to their finance manager. We purchased the car for MSRP + $1198 Dealer added price (honda pro pack plus tint which is now where near to $1198) + extended warranty, maintenance. We didnt get any deal in any of these numbers. Now after closing thr purchase, their finance manager reached back saying the loan application was denied since we downed minimum amount with a credit card and asked us to pay the amount with debit or check and would refund back the credit card amount. We paid off that credit card using our savings account and they refunding that amount back to our credit card would put it in negative and paying with the debit would put extra burden on us financially. Else, they said they would refund the down payment back to credit card and put it in the loan amount which again our monthly payment would increase by $50, again this would be a burden on us financially. We had to compromise at every step and the experience was a complete disappointment through out the entire car purchase. We already are stressed and this extra stress was just too much. Their finance manager assured us he would fix this but we are still waiting for an update. God knows how much more stress they are going to put us in further. And now after a week, we got an email from their GM about the new offers (new car price match) and trade in appraisal boost offer. We just bought the new car a week back and begged for a deal/offers before but after purchase, after a week they changed their attitude. I sent a request to them to reconsider our purchase and make it right by giving us any cash back or any incentive but there is no response as expected. I just feel like our purchase experience was HORRIBLE, STRESSFUL and I would NOT recommend this dealership to any of my circle or friends.

Stay away. Bought a used car and they didn't disclose the actual history of the car. Pulled up a clean Carfax report but did not disclose they purchased the car from a salvage yard. When we went to sell it a whole new history came up. Total crooks. Lots of lessons learned.
