If I could give zero stars I would, specifically to the associate named, Shanique, with the red hair, after being rude by tossing our items in the bag unnecessarily instead of just setting them in the bag, my mom rightfully walked away without saying thank you but did acknowledge her, Shanique decided to say out loud that she was very rude and continued to say something when I told her, that’s my mom stop, she laughed at me. I continued my transaction and walked away saying I don’t need my receipt keep it because I was very upset with her behavior. She then decided again to start saying things about me and my mother. At this time I did start saying stuff back as her behavior as a grown woman was completely unacceptable and uncalled for just because she got personally offended one didn’t say thank you after she tossed our stuff in the bag. She kept talking back and saying stuff once I started so I just left the store and tried to call to talk to a store manager. When I called, Shanique, was actually the one to pick up the phone and then claimed that she was indeed the store manager said some things than HUNG UP ON US. I then went back inside to try and get to the bottom of it to then find out she indeed wasn’t the store manager. All of this simply because she took it personal that someone didn’t say thank you due to her own behavior beforehand. (Mind you she was indeed raising her voice during this interaction)

Horrible, horrible customer service experience, the manager here is rude and disrespectful, she had the audacity to call me ignorant in front of my daughter for the simple fact that I asked her to specify the return policy of the store. Very unprofessional woman, she refused to give me her name after calling me ignorant and the cashier also refused to give me the name, she needs to be retrained, demoted if training doesn’t work or removed.

If you want to be accused of stealing simply because you take your time shopping, then this is the Burlington to visit. The Black loss prevention officer with dreads watched me excessively and told other employees that I was stealing, which was completely false. I had a basket full of items and had already spent over $500 in this store. I have been a frequent customer at this location for several years and have never experienced anything like what happened today. Being loudly accused of opening a product that wasn’t even in my basket and in an area I wasn’t even near was extremely insulting and unacceptable. He was so loud that other customers started commenting and asking if I was stealing.This experience was humiliating, unprofessional, and needs to be addressed by management.

The manager here seems to be prejudiced against colored folks. There was like 4 people on both sides of each dressing room. When one person walked out, he went and lock both doors so the other folks in line (8 blk ppl) couldn’t try on clothes. He didn’t say anything.
He just walked up calmly, lock the doors, then slammed them & walked away. He’s so ignorant. He didn’t have enough sense to tell ppl they couldn’t use the dressing rooms for whatever reason. It was like 2pm so I don’t get it. This store is a mess. They love to check your receipts like that prevents ppl from stealing. But that dressing room situation turned me off, I just threw the stuff I had down & walked away. So classless & tacky

Extremely Disappointing Restroom Conditions
I was shocked by the condition of the restroom. Toilet paper was scattered all over the floor, making it look neglected and unsanitary. To make matters worse, there was no air freshener, and the smell was unbearable. It clearly hadn’t been cleaned or maintained properly. For a place that welcomes guests, this is completely unacceptable.

Burlington is one of those spots where if you got time… you’ll find the gems. 🛒
Solid selection of home goods, clothes, accessories and prices that don’t make you flinch.
Store was mostly organized, but you gotta dig a little to find the real deals.
Staff was helpful and checkout moved smooth.
Good stop when you want quality on a budget.

I visited the store two days ago and used the fitting room, which was extremely dirty and clearly not being cleaned regularly. While inside, I stepped on a pin that was left on the floor and started bleeding heavily. The staff showed no concern for the situation, and I ended up having to go to the ER. I was told the manager would contact me, but no one ever followed up.
