We ordered a coffee table and were told 6-8 weeks. The 1st table came in within the time above, but we were called just prior to delivery and they said the table was damaged. Supposedly, the 2nd table was ordered. We waited and waited. Several calls to Bassett, both local store and general helpline, were never returned. Always with the reply that someone would get back to you. After speaking with manager and threating to cancel order we find out that the table was already supposedly "in" and delivery would be scheduled. Table finally arrived but after closer inspection stone top has crack in it. Again, calls back to store with no reply. For supposedly being a higher end furniture store the service has been horrendous. Will not buy from here again.

I don’t usually leave reviews but the salesperson was so incredibly rude to me and this whole process of ordering 2 accent chairs was such a headache. I Ordered 2 accent chairs in March ‘22 the order kept getting pushed back and I had to call the store to get updates on my order. The salesperson who had helped me when I ordered never called me to keep me up to date. I finally had to cancel my chairs when I found out that they were not coming in till October and they still could not confirm whether they would actually show up?! I ended up just keeping my pillows from the order and when I picked them up my original salesperson was so rude, so uncalled for! The only good thing I can say about the Frisco store is the manager Mike who was great in helping with the return and very professional. Sales person was lacking seriously in professionalism. Maybe less attitude with her customers.

Well different people give to me different answer about our order when they will arrive .Wait for them 70 days already,there is one lady told us one product should arrive at the beginning of October while another lady whose attitude is indifferent And she said different time .

We needed a new sofa and love seat. Our old ones were also from Bassett and had simply worn out. We were pleased with the customer service from Bassett as the sales lady actually came by our house to help us with our material selection. They may not normally do this but she volunteered to do so and it was a big help. Furniture came in as scheduled. They were beautiful! We are getting a few more pieces and Bassett in Frisco is where we'll go. We met Mike, a manager. He and everyone we worked with have been nothing but professional, helpful and caring for us as the customer.

We really enjoyed the shopping experience at the Frisco Bassett location. Ann was super helpful through the whole process and kept us informed when we reached out about the status of our furniture. She went above and beyond for other smaller things even (our new rug and lamps). Yes it does take a while to get the large furniture items in but they are upfront and honest about that from the beginning. Also, it isn't their fault supply chain is messed up lol. Just be patient people. The delivery drivers were also great. They come on time and build everything for you if it needs to be. They are also very careful with your items. We just got the last of our order today and couldn't be happier. Thanks you to Ann and all involved!

The designers are fantastic to work with however I would never recommend anybody use this company. First to takes too long to get and they have limited options on furniture.Secondly it's poor quality Furniture you would be better off just buying from Ashley and save yourself a few thousand because you are going to get the same quality! And at least the other stores let you know where your furniture is unlike this company, No one ever seems to have any idea. The company doesn't follow up with you and your order status. When you call Bassett they make very little attempt to find out what's going on with your order and it arrives broken or ripped. The worst thing is that this company traps you and won't allow you a refund even if your furniture is damaged.

Nope!! I used Bassett in St. Louis to do my entire house. The designer was AMAZING!! She worked within my budget and the house was outstanding for the 8 years I lived in it. Then I moved to DFW. My house here is twice the size as my STL house so I need more furniture and to replace some so it would fit to scale. Went in and decided to start with a new bedroom set back in October. Everything was back ordered but I understood given the truck driver shortage and the California shipping crate situation. In February the bed and dresser were delivered and I love them. I was told both night stands would come in March. This week I got a call to set up deliver for the nightstands tomorrow but that one had a handle break off in the warehouse so they put a different handle on it and would let me know when they could get a correct handle out on. I'm sorry, but for the money I paid for this custom furniture.....giving me a four hour window to wait for delivery of broken furniture and then wait around for you to come FIX brand new furniture I purchased (that is already broken) is not my idea of fantastic customer service. When I explained to the lady that I didn't want broken furniture delivered and to just re order me a new nightstand since I didn't order a partially broken piece she acted like I was the crazy one?!?! I'm sorry but Bassett isn't cheap and I really don't appreciate paying for furniture only to have mismatched pieces delivered 5 months after ordering and told to wait while they try and get the correct handle in for one of the dressers and to just work with a temporary mismatched smaller version of the handle. If I wanted that, I could have saved thousands and gone to Target?? Needless to say this was NOT THE SAME EXPERIENCE as my St. Louis one. So sad because they used to have the BEST customer service and design service and furniture. NOT THE SAME QUALITY!

5 messages left for customer service and no return calls. When you call the Frisco location where the furniture was purchased and they very rudely direct us to call customer service. (This is 3 different staff members). You guys have some serious customer issues. When we finally get a call back from customer service they inform us they do not know where our furniture is and that the warehouse manager has been very sick. I hope that person gets better, however that is not something you disclose to a customer for many reasons. Extremely unprofessional. It is kinda bizarre that in one of the fastest growing cities in the country that a Bassett Furniture could be so inept.

Absolute worst experience ever. We ordered a custom ottoman that we waited 4 months for and it delivered with marks and scratches all over it. It was not wrapped or protected, just thrown in a Uhaul truck with other furniture. The mirror I ordered was broken, not once but twice. Ended up just canceling the order because apparently delivering a mirror is impossible for this company. Zero customer service. I had to call multiple times for updates and find out status when they had failed to communicate to me. With so many other furniture companies out there, I can assure you, you will be happier going somewhere else. Do not purchase from Bassett Furniture!!!

UPDATE: Bassett appears to have replied asking me for more information, but they never actually addressed anything with me when I sent them emails to their customer service address. It’s hard to find time to sit on hold on the phone to get anyone to answer. They don’t respond at all to their customer service address. Still waiting on couch repair.Let me start by saying we do love our furniture. It looks nice and it's comfortable. We ordered on January 2 and we didn't get our furniture til halfway through March. It was a long wait for building and shipping of our custom furniture. We were thrilled when it Finally arrived. Over $6,000 of furniture, which we had to start paying on right away, before we even had it. This was frustrating, but once it arrived we were fine. Then in June we had to call out service to repair stitching coming out on one of the chair arms. Then, July, we had to call service out again to reinforce a structurally collapsed arm on the other chair (Under the upholstery and foam cushion, it is just thin cardboard. What am I paying for???) Now I find in August I am having to call out service AGAIN for stitching coming out in one of the couch cushions. We went with Bassett because of the quality we thought we would be receiving. I am starting to wish we had gone to Nebraska Furniture Mart and saved several thousand dollars. The chair and couch I have from NFM are still going strong after two long distance moves. We love our furniture but I am starting to wonder how long it will actually last. Will not be buying Bassett again.Takeaway: You're paying for a brand name that no longer has the quality behind it. They might have a wood frame in their somewhere but they're made of cardboard underneath. Save your time and money.

Went into the Frisco store yesterday with a friend and was not greeted at the door by anyone. We walked around for about 20 minutes and no one came and asked us if we needed help so we left. As we were leaving an older couple came in and the salesperson immediately asked them if they needed help and what they were looking for. I guess we weren’t good enough for them to help. That’s okay I went next door to Haverty’s, where they were extremely helpful, and spent around $3,000. I guess Bassett didn’t need my money!!

Furniture arrived damaged. Tried to reach the designer and the store manager with no success( also sent an email). Called customer service who sent the issue to the store. No response from the store for 2 weeks. They are very nice when you come to buy but ignore you after the sale. Very disappointing when you have so many options out there. We thought Bassett are different but it looks like they don’t justify the image they try to have by inflating their prices. Never going back.

Fantastic experience! I had an an eclectic look that I was going for, but challenged by our room layout and pieces that I wanted to incorporate. Our designer, Pamela, came to our house and was instrumental in creating the vision. The room now is so comfortable and balanced! Pamela suggested pieces, fabrics, and a layout that I never would thought of on my own. My husband (who didn’t want new furniture) has now adopted the space. I will be calling Pamela as soon as my she-shed is ready. ?
