I absolutely LOVE Dr. Dike, Amanda Skelton, NP, Kaitlyn, pretty much all the providers here. It is the office staff or manager that stresses me out. The communication is horrible. Yes, they have a sign that says 7-14 days or something along those lines to complete forms for work. However, these companies also have policies as well that impact people's jobs. I can't even focus on getting my health together properly because my job is constantly communicating with me on why it's taking so long to get paper work back regarding my leave. My job and pay are impacted because they've been sitting on my forms for 3 WEEKS. I have monthly appointments with NP Amanda and my company needs paperwork from each visit. By the time they complete the paperwork from the previous visit, it's time for next visits paperwork. It shouldn't take 3 weeks to write in some blank boxes what I'm being treated for and my restrictions. Ridiculous. If I lose my job, then I have no insurance to even continue medical treatment here.

One year after my stroke, I had to make a follow up appointment. I had to leave work early, arrived 5 minutes early, and was told I have a $200 co-pay which no one told me about previously. I was sent to a cardiologist who didn’t do anything but charge me more money- and still….. no updates of why a 38 year old had a major stroke. I’ll be going somewhere else after this. Dr Dike was amazing- but I definitely don’t feel like my health is their priority.

I've been seeing Dr. Dike on and off for a couple of years due to really bad migraines.
I liked the doctor but because his office cannot communicate, I'm switching providers.
I saw Dr. Dike on 8/16/24 and paid the $75 FMLA admin fee before I even saw the doctor. I sent the forms on 8/21/24 and the forms were due by 9/3/24. Shirley never returned the several emails or messages I left for her. I even sent the doctor a message through the portal which I was told he was aware of but again, no response from the office. Now I have to find a new doctor, pay another co pay and request FMLA again.
If communication isn't important to you then maybe Dr. Dike is a good option for you.

Scripts, referrals and scheduled tests repeatedly fail to be created, even after multiple phone calls. They often fail to return phone calls. My wife was sent for a spinal tap and test of the fluid but the orders weren't put through. They did the spinal tap needlessly and didn't test the fluids. They have missed diagnosis and failed to tell us of abnormalities that were written on reports.

I will share my negative experience all over the internet. The office staff is incompetent and the communication is ZERO. When the office was running 45 minutes behind the scheduled time, THEN the doctor DID NOT READ THE CHART that my mother, with dementia was supposed to be having a longer EEG and instead, he went in and explained how to do it over 3 days at home when family had already implicitly said that would not work. How in the heck in the heck is a neurologist NOT aware that his dementia patient 1. will not remember anything he said and 2. as the doctor how did you not review the chart? When the practice manager says they are aware there are issues, how about they do something to fix them. How about communicating? Such a horrible experience.

Great physician. Appreciate Dr. Dike's excellence, attention to detail, and kindness. I have known him as a patient, and I sent my dad to him as a patient when he had a stroke, and he combed over his data extensively and answered all my dad's concerns to the point Dad though he was one of the best docs he had ever seen. We are grateful for his care!

I see Dr. Catherine NP. She is pleasant, easy to talk to. She really listens and is vested in helping me. She has lots of knowledge on her own, but she also has a highly knowledgeable Dr that she can consult with if need be. Other doctors that I go to speak highly of Dr. Dike.

Dr Dike and Dr Skelton are always extremely nice. They really try hard to listen, which I can't say that about most physicians. I have some chronic issues, so I have met a lot of Dr's and I can definitely say this office, it's staff and the Dr's go beyond to help their patients. In addition, Derrick B set up a 5 day EEG for me, placing electrodes on my head, etc. He was absolutely fantastic, asking me periodically if I was OK, having good conversation and provided an atmosphere of calm and comfort in a situation that could absolutely can be stressful! Highly recommend this office!?❤️

I would give this provider negative stars if I could. Twice in 6 moths, my wife's prescription has been dorked up such that it could not be filled for a medication she is supposed to take WITHOUT interruption.Kaitlyn was fantastic but after she left on maternity leave, the pooh hit the fan. Please take your business elsewhere, there doesn't seem to be anyone at this location any longer who CARES about patient needs. They claim to be open 8-5 M-F but when you call at 4 pm the phone system says they are closed. In our case, after a year and a half of being on a specific medication, the office tells insurance my wife isn't benefitting from the medication, which is not the case. For them to make such a statement to insurance when internal documentation clearly indicates she DOES get benefit from it borders on malpractice or at the least incompetence. .We are taking our business elsewhere and recommend others do the same. Dr. Dike can stick his practice up his backside.

I would have given 5 Stars for Dr Dike but his staff was horrible, (to me) and ruin the chance of a five star review. They staff was not professional or courteous in so many ways. In the hospital I was given an update information to follow up with Dr. Dike. But on the paperwork they had the wrong address for the follow up. On the day of my appointment I’m always on time with time to spare. I waited 25 mins for them to open, but once I got out to go in, the office was CLOSED! They MOVED!!! WITH NO INFO ON THE DOOR THAT THEY HAVE MOVED TO ANOTHER LOCATION. So, I had to call his office and ask for his new location in Carrollton. And remind you, I had a severe concussion. Unfortunately, that made me late for my appointment. I’ve waited over two weeks to make this appointment, I still showed up but they refused to let me see the doctor. No one was in the waiting room the whole time I was there. And the red head behind the front desk refused, (with a very bad attitude) to help me in any way. So I had to asked to see the manger and after waiting 25 mins I got to see dr Dike. To this day the staff still does not CARE about his patients.Good Luck, because you’re going to need it. I will never return to his office because of the way I was treated by his staff.

Kaitlyn is Dr. Dike’s P.A. I want to express she is excellent, compassionate and professional. I would give her a 10 star rating. I have been under her care for about 2 years. She has treated me for numerous neurological disorders. I highly recommend seeking treatment with this practice. Thank you Kaitlyn!

Please do no believe this man if he tells you that he can diagnose CTE while you are living. CTE can only be diagnosed after death. A diagnosis requires evidence of degeneration of brain tissue and deposits of tau and other proteins in the brain. This can only be seen after death during an autopsy. Please do not let this office convince you to undergo unnecessary and expensive tests that are not related to any sort of CTE diagnosis. You and your insurance company will be out of thousands of dollars if you believe him.

Dr. Dike has been there with me every step of the way on properly diagnosing my medical problems.I suffer from migraines, Neuropathy, an inflammation disease, hand tremors and prior brain and spinal surgery. He addresses each one at time which has allowed me to live a better life. By far the best Neurologist in the DFW area. Thank you Dr Dike and your staff for caring enough to takingthe time to help me get better.
