It seems that some of these negative reviews are referencing HEB's app, insurance issues or drugs not being in stock, but as far as the pharmacy staff goes, they are always polite and the pharmacy is always clean. My medication has been on national backorder on and off for most of the year, and while it's extremely frustrating, I am smart enough to realize that it isn't the pharmacy's fault. HEB pharmacy is MUCH better than Walgreens and CVS, that's for sure.

I was visiting in Texas with my wife and had my MD. Send over 2 script 1 for her and 1 for me went to pick up both scripts from the drive thru took scripts and left of course you don't make a habit of counting pills when I got back to my friends house gave my wife her meds she said it didn't look like the full amount there were 30 pills short, checked mine 15 short

For the love of God do not bother bringing your prescriptions here. They are an absolute nightmare. Even when you get a notification your medication is ready, you have a 50/50 chance it’s actually ready. There is more but not enough room to type it all. I have wasted so much time with this place and will never ever go back. Customer BEWARE.

Felt like they were being deliberately dense in not wanting to retrieve update prescription and info from a different pharmacy(which is something regularly done if the doctors office sends to wrong pharmacy) ultimately had to call doctors office and have them resend.(DR office is large and can take up to 48 hours to do so)

I have been using this pharmacy for years and it only gets worse. I had a prescription called in on Friday and in the app it said it would be ready on Saturday so then when I called about it they said first come first serve. This is unacceptable because I need the medication. I just had surgery and the type of surgery I had will take up to six - nine months to heal and without my medication I can’t heal. I don’t understand why they don’t order enough for all there clients and extra because people have surgery everyday. There is not a shortage of the medication because I went to the website to see if it was on the list of medication shortages and it wasn’t this is a disgrace making people suffer because of HEB can’t order the proper medication. Something needs to change with the managers. Well things still the same. I went through the app yesterday January 22 2024 to fill one of my prescriptions that I get filled every single month And my prescription says two times a day, which is 60 a month Well, when I looked on the app, it said that it was ready and the quality was six so I called the pharmacy again and told him that they made a mistake And the manager says no we didn’t make the mistake. It was your doctors office. Well, it wasn’t my doctors office I didn’t call them. I called HEB Pharmacy Friendswood Texas to have the same one that I have every single month the same quality they put the wrong amount down. It wasn’t eight minutes and it was right in the app so they know they did wrong But they don’t want to take the blame at all I am so sick of this Pharmacy. I am moving everything to another Pharmacy and I will shop at a different H-E-B besides this one. People be aware of what you’re getting filled and how much it’s supposed to be in the quality and quantity. The most rudest people I’ve ever interacted with in a pharmacy in a business.

I am done with the pharmacy location. Since I have started using this pharmacy, for a about the last 2 years now. They have always lacked customer service skills and have been rude at times. This Sunday morning, I had been calling to speak to them about my wife's prescriptions and schedule a delivery for Monday. Every time I called the phone would go straight to hold music. I called the front desk and was told that other customers were complaining of this as well. I finally called and spoke to a manager and he said that he believed that they were shorthanded. I said, that is what suspected, but they should still be courteous to customers, irregardless of the fact.The manager walked over to the pharmacy and had someone take the call. I forgot his name because he mad angry. I worked in retail and I truly understand how it feels to be shorthanded. But that is not an excuse to treat customers rudely. The person that spoke to me told me he was short handed and how busy he had been. Which I told him that I understood. However, he continued to speak to me rudely and was short with me. I finally got angry with him and told him that I didn't appreciate his attitude.I have kept my comments to myself until today. I have had enough of their rudeness.

Good-bye to rudeness. Good-bye to incompetence. Good-bye to all the confusion with refills.I’ve been a customer at this store & pharmacy since the store was built (over 25 years). The pharmacy used to offer great service but those days are long gone.Now there is a constant change in personnel and they manage to find either people who don’t have a clue or are rude or both. They cannot answer questions about refills, policy, or anything else.I wrote comments on the company website but they haven’t cared enough to respond even though that was one of the prompts. I moved all my prescriptions to CVS, 3 times the distance, because they offer what H‑E‑B pharmacy won’t: good customer service.

Always a great experience. Knowledgeable staff, as well as a great pharmacist. We left the Walgreens/CVS because the service is so much better at HEB.
