Unfortunately I couldn't give 0 stars. I had an appointment today for a stray that showed up at my house and it didn't go well. So disorganized and yes they are kinda rude. And have you noticed that the owner only replies to the "good" comments, I guess it doesn't matter to them that they have so many bad reviews/dissatisfied customers.

This place needs to be shut down. The doctor here is incredibly inappropriate and disrespectful to all staff. He hires people with no experience and refuses to teach them anything. They must learn from other people who have been there for weeks. He is very inappropriate with female workers and refuses to hire men. He gets angry and yells at his workers hence why they are only there for weeks at a time. The malpractice here is insane. Half the things he uses are expired including things he uses in surgery. Gloves, catheters, etc. Dogs have flatlined and had trouble under anesthesia due to his malpractice and not changing out things for YEARS that should be changed every 8 hours. As a former employee I can say that this man should not be trusted to care for your animal. Even when his employees don't feel comfortable doing something, he refuses to do things any other way. (Even if his way is wrong). For example, A new girl that was on her SECOND day told the doctor that she was uncomfortable doing a dental procedure by herself, and the doctor did not care and left her to do it alone with no supervision or help. Please please trust my judgement and take ur animals anywhere else.

So far have had very good experiences here. Dr. K is kind as well as his staff. He has seen 2 of my dogs for major issues both requiring procedures that warranted sedation. So far both dogs are doing great. The establishment is very nice and looks like a house. They were quick to get me in when both my dogs had emergencies. I have been very pleased with the level of service so far.

The doctors at Citi came to our house, after business hours, to help our sick, elderly cat pass on. She didn't have to endure the stress of leaving our home and we were able to hold her as she moved on. For that we are very grateful.

Updated -I had an awful experience here. I had been going here for almost a year, spent thousands of dollars here caring for multiple animals with no issues until recently.I called to make an appointment for my dog to get a heartworm test required for the heartworm prescription 2 weeks ago, and when I was making the appointment, they told me they lost all of my records. Their really rude receptionist did not even apologize on Citi's behalf, just told me it wasn't her fault it was the prior receptionist's fault. There are always different employees every time I come here. They had to call my prior vet to get records to see when my dog was due for a heartworm test. No big deal. But then, I took my dog in and they did the heartworm test- plus a wellness exam she didn't need that they charged me extra for- but it turns out that they didn't carry her brand anymore and I'd have to get it filled somewhere else. Ok. I checkout out and they never sent me the script. I called back later that day and asked if they could email it to me. They said they could upload it digitally to get it filled for $10. So 2 weeks and another $10 later, I still didn't have what I came there for - just some heartworm pills.I didn't want my dog to get heartworm, and they weren't filling the script so I had to go to another vet who wouldn't agree to fill it without them doing an exam too. So I am essentially paying twice.I wanted to get a refund from Citi Animal Hospital since I had to go somewhere else to get my prescription, but after much frustration and getting nowhere with them on the phone, I went there in person. The doctor refused to refund my money for the exam even though I still hadn't received the one thing I came there for which was the heartworm script, and he kept trying to throw a $10 bill at me so I'd leave because I'm inconveniencing him. He never apologized for the poor service I received, all of the delays in receiving my dogs meds, frustrations of having to deal with this mess, and for wasting my time nor did he offer to make it right.

my dog did artifical insemination there with the indian doctor. he collected two times the semen collection fees which used to included in the procedure in other hospital. The worst thing is my dog is not even pregent after two times AI procedure. Not worth it at all with all these high costs.

Absolutely horrific. The staff is extremely underpaid and overworked. 1 person is expected to answer phones AND do technician duties. Very high turnover rate and it's no surprise as to why. The one person I interacted with was only there for 3 weeks and recieved no training. What I witnessed there disturbed me greatly. Patients being sedated and not being given a reversal drug (said it's his "policy"). Apparently it's routine for this doctor to send patients home still knocked out from sedatives. Absolutely no regard for safety of staff, patients, or even his own pets. He keeps his 2 dogs out in the yard for several hours a day in this heat. There is almost no PPE for taking radiographs. There are years expired urinary catheters in drawers- who knows what else is past the sterility date yet still being used on patients! This man only wants staff that does what he says- even if it's unsafe for the patient- instead of actual medical professionals who recieved years of training who will catch on to his blatent malpractice. DO NOT bring your pet here. This place needs to be shut down.

Citi Animal Hospital is the best vet clinic I have ever been to. I have been going for 5 years and won’t go anywhere else. Dr. K is the most caring and intelligent vet I have ever met! He truly cares about all of the animals he takes care of and treats them like his own! Citi also does many treatments that aren’t common at all vet clinics, which is very convenient.

Interviewed there recently, he made me feel extremely uncomfortable, asked questions about my parents, my dating life, etc. He became frustrated when I tried telling him that I could start Monday, not the day after my interview, but I didn't even have scrubs.

We found a kitten and decided to adopt him. We took him to Citi since it's near our house and we love them! They were so sweet to our kitten and very informative!

Can not tell you how great this clinic is. The vet staff is by far some of the best group of people ever. Fair pricing. Also, takes exotic animals. Thank you for all that you do!

Always plan on at least a 2 hour vet appointment. Not sure why it always takes so long. Gets seen quick then nothing for the first hour.

Honestly if I could give 0 stars I would. Between the constant turnover of employees, how expensive they are, having them make mistakes and still charging you for their mistakes. This wasn't one visit either, this was several over the span of a year and a half. I had to rush my dog back to the 24 hour emergency vet, after taking him to Citi Vet where I was reassured that our baby would be fine and not to worry just watch him. Three hours after being told he would be ok, he passed away. The 24 hour vet did more for me in a few days than Citi Vet did in over a year of taking my dog to them. Not to mention the 24 hour animal hospital has called several times checking on us. The 24 animal hospital had never seen our dog. Citi Vet has yet to call us once, apologizing, giving us there thoughts and prayers, nothing. This guy that is the vet dr at Citi Vet only cares about one thing and that is taking your money. Please, Please beware when taking your animals to him.

DO NOT GO HERE Owner hired me for 2 days then fired me for someone else. When I worked there he seemed very angry the whole time and got mad at everyone. Apparently he's used to firing his crew. When I worked there the longest person who has been there was there for 2 months and everyone else was there for 2 weeks. The crew before all of us got fired for no apparent reason from what I heard. I never even got paid for the days that I worked there because he wanted me to fill out paperwork by myself at home and send him my social through email. Completely unprofessional owner. Now I see why he has low reviews. The staff are super sweet I truly miss them but he needs to get his priorities straight and learn how to treat his staff and not yell at them and embarrass them. What a shame I didn't get my paycheck for what i worked with him but I wasn't going to risk my social getting taken and my identity stolen. Don't go here. Not to mention he hires non experienced workers who are willing to learn and grow but instead of teaching them he yells at us for not knowing something and degrades the workers in front of everyone. And looking at the reviews on yelp other people have said the same thing about him. Disappointed with this establishment.

Exactly near Friendswood. Good pet care. There is a pet home at this location. We can leave our pet here when we are in a vacation. They will charge around 20$ or so per day.
