They provide wonderful service and are courteous. The review is not a knock on their service.
They absoluley price gouge by charging almost double to perform services. They quoted me $1300 to fix an alternator in my car, I got it fixed for $650 in another garage nearby. I am all for capitalism and profits, but in tough economic times, charging almost double is daylight robbery.
We have 3 cars that we have been taking to them for 2 years. But after this experience, not sure if we are inclined to take our cars back there.

For those who know cars and do their own work, but some stuff is just too in depth or scary to do yourself: go to this location.
I have been coming to this location specifically for years for work on my car. They are especially helpful in diagnosing issues you might be unsure of yourself, doing courtesy diagnostics for external work (funky sounds, check engine light, leaky hoses, etc.) They will acknowledge your concerns, and elaborate on them with more information as needed. Sometimes getting into the specifics on how the process will go for the work on your car or the exact parts needed.
I heavily trust these people and have never had a negative experience here. Always such amazing and knowledgeable front desk staff. You can tell they care about you, your car, and your own knowledge on your car when you show interest.

I came to CBA thinking our truck needed a wheel bearing replacement. Discount Tire was unable to help us and recommended CBA. We went to CBA at noon on Saturday without a reservation. The staff was friendly and accommodating. We received a phone call shortly after dropping our truck off asking if we'd recently had the brakes replaced. The loud grating sound we were hearing was the result of a sloppy brake repair performed by NTB. We paid $1500 to have the brakes replaced at an NTB in Austin, we reported the noise to NTB immediately after picking up our truck. We asked NTB if we could bring the truck back to see if they could figure out what was making the noise. We were told that the tech had double checked his work that included taking our truck for a test drive and no noise was heard so it couldn't possibly be related to the brake repair, that unfortunately turned out to be a lie that cost us an additional $1000 to extend our stay in Austin, rent a vehicle and arrange towing of our truck home to Houston. CBA had the problem diagnosed immediately and fixed it for us FREE of charge. When I called NTB to complain about their shoddy work they had no interest in doing anything to make amends for their dishonesty and poor service. I will NEVER trust NTB again, especially with something as important as brake repair. I'll be returning to CBA and recommend them to others. CBA cares about their customers and appears to be an honest and reputable establishment. I can't recommend NTB, their BBB rating is "F" and they have many bad reviews on Google.

I have used them for years. I recently had to have my FJ towed to them. Over a $1000 later, it was "fixed". Not even 12 hrs later my dash lit up like a Christmas tree. The vehichle is running but I can't get it inspected. I take it back in and the estimate was another $1500.00 for a sensor. Riddle me this, wouldn't a sensor show up when it was hooked up not even 12 hrs prior? I'm so disappointed and looking for someone to fix it so I can get it registered.

I just want to thank Todd, Scott, Kyle and the rest of the staff for being patient for the last 2 months while we all worked withe warranty company to make sure they did their part on getting my truck back on the road. Business should be modeled after Christian Brothers. From the impeccable customer service to just the outright friendliness of the entire staff. I will definitely be giving all my business to the CB team here in Friendswood. Thanks too all you for sticking with me the last couple of months

Everything sounded great and the associate was very nice. I was all for it till I got the estimate. Their price on my AC condensor replacement was more than what the dealership was charging me. I respectfully declined the repair and went somewhere that was 40% cheaper.

This was my first time at Christian Brothers and they did an excellent job!! I went in for an oil change and went a day earlier than my appointment, since my schedule had cleared. They were able to fit me in and get everything done within an hour! I like how they do a courtesy inspection and explain any concerns with your car. I mostly interacted with Josh and he did a great job explaining details and giving recommendations on when/where I should get things fixed. Y'all are awesome!!

Well in order to get a oil change you have to make an appointment, yeah they didn't get my business making an appointment for an oil change isn't happening I needed it that day was preparing to go out of town .

This business is one of the best. We started going there because we wanted to take special care of our diesel truck, but now we trust them with all our vehicles. Just recently we had the oil changed and the oil filter replaced on our diesel. The job was done quickly. When we started to leave the display screen would not come on. Three different people came out to help...they pulled the truck back in, offered me a drink, and fixed the problem within a few minutes. They were so nice about it and apologized for the delay even though it was only a few minutes. I feel lucky to have a vehicle shop we trust.

I rarely take the time I should to review a business but have to stop everything I'm doing today to recognize Christian Brothers Automotive (Friendswood) for their above and beyond, honest, generous, friendly service I received this past week.Long story short, I had the rear brakes replaced down to the rotors and calipers on my van a few years ago. All of the work I've had done there has been a little bit above the prices I shopped around but they always do what they say on schedule, which is important to me as I use the van to deliver for my business and as the mom to 9 kids that need rides everywhere. Plus, the work is backed up by a 3 yr warranty.In November I was told the van needed some kind of alignment work, but I was so busy and trying to afford 9-kid Christmas that I let my appointment lapse until January. Come to find out the work needed was not an alignment but the same exact $$$ brake problem, right down to the rotors again. After mentioning my warranty, we both realized I was one month out of the 3 year warranty. As a small business owner, this bill was not insignificant to me, and I've been dwelling on the mechanic bill all week since making the repair appointment. When I dropped it off this morning, I mentioned that the brakes were only one month out of warranty and asked if there was anything they could do. The man behind the counter said I could speak to a manager and that hopefully they could help me out. Later this afternoon I received a text that my van was ready, and nervously I went back to CBA to pick up my van, praying that the bill would be affordable. They honored my warranty! I couldn't believe it. And, despite saying I needed an alignment and me agreeing to pay for it, they told me I didn't need one after all, and had not charged me for that either. They could've easily done the alignment, said they did the alignment, charged me for it and I wouldn't have ever known the difference.Just like I go to Ackles only for my A/C needs, and Dr. Mayfield's office only for my dental, this proves again that being able to totally trust and depend on a service provider wins them a grateful customer for life.Thank you Christian Brothers for making my day and saving my bank account! We will definitely be back.
