Today my husband went in to get his battery/voice recording of his son serviced because it stopped working.He went in and a associate name which starts with a “A” was working and told him to take the bear back to the store it was purchased (we all know that’s a NO NO) and then told him that they don’t do it..he would have to go find a voice box from somewhere and bring it back..So I had to call another store and confirm their policies..so I called back the store and they said he could come back and they’ll see..A big Thanks to Emelie she took care of him and to the other associate who tried to avoid him while he was waiting and making him come back because she was being mean ..needs more training because that’s not the way to handle CUSTOMERS..to so many ppl these bears mean so much to ppl whom lost love ones and to treat someone this way who is just trying to save memories is wrong and I’m sure your store manager would be disappointed if she/he knew his/her associates treats ppl this way.

I’m a bit disappointed with my experience here.. I was helped by employee 0051159, I’m not sure of her name but this was on the receipt. From the minute we walked in this girl looked like she was just over being at work and just looked unhappy. (Same girl btw) Now this was mine and my daughters first time here, I never had a build a bear so I wanted my daughter to get one and every time I had a question to ask she would respond with one worded answers and just seemed annoyed to where I just didn’t wanna ask anything anymore. I wasn’t going to let her attitude ruin our experience so I ignored it but thankfully someone came and relieved her and this employee was the sweetest to my daughter. All was good til I got to the register and saw the first employee again. For one, she never called me up to the register she just stared, two, the lady before me got a box with her bear. I paid almost $100 for this bear and I feel like when kids get these bears, getting the house box is what completes the exciting experience for them but we didn’t get that. Not even a thank you or have a nice day, the employee didn’t even tell me we were done with the transaction she just left the 5 items I purchased there on the counter as she stepped away and got on a call. I’m a single mom and work hard to get her stuff I couldn’t have growing up, so I feel like for what I paid for this stuffed animal it would’ve been nice to receive better customer service and a house box for her $100 stitch like I saw other people getting or at least something to put my items in. It’s just disappointing for it being both mine and my daughter’s first time here and it wasn’t a good experience. The second employee was great though, wish I’d gotten her name but she either had piercings or tattoos I can’t remember, but she was super sweet to my daughter and myself as she stuffed her stitch, explained how everything works and what I have to do, and even when we left while homegirl was talking on the phone. But even after all this, the second employee made my experience a bit better which is why I rated 2 stars and not 1 and my daughter still loved her Stitch.

Came here to get the birthday bear for my twins. The one who personally helped us was very kind, I wish I had gotten her name. The other staff member who checked us out was not very friendly, she seemed like if we were a bother and still tried to sell me the gift cards ( I know it's something they have to ask). Be mindful of how you treat your customers. Overall still a good experience thanks to the lady who helped us❤️ you helped make their day special for them

Great experience! I love taking the kids for accomplishments and special occasions. FYI- if it's your child's birthday month they can get the Birthday Bear for the price of the age they are turning.
Example:So if they are turning 3 to then the bear is $3 plus tax of course.

Mine and my kids first time ever getting a build a bear. My kids had fun customizing their bear and picking out clothes. The kids helped me make mine and the associates were kind enough to help make it extra special that I started crying. I’ll definitely be back again ❤️

Kids always love BaB, and the staff here is wonderful. However, there isn't enough staff and therefore long lines. Long lines (this visit was a 35 minute line to stuff, and then another 15 minute line to check out) with kids can be stressful.

Build a bear experience was awful. The lady stuffing the bears was amazing, lady behind the counter was amazing, but it got really busy, lines were long. Some people were arguing in line which made it uncomfortable, but what really bothered me was that out of the three employees on duty, one of them named Scout kept walking around pretending not to see the lines. She repeatedly stocked already stocked merchandise, and stood around trying to look busy. I saw her walk in and out of the back room multiple times as the lines piled up. You would think you'd need to get all the people out first before doing silly little tasks around the store
