I relayed the same information I typed below, and he was very apologetic of my experience. He expressed that's not how he likes to be represented and that he would want his employees to hold the same integrity as him and provide the best service professionally. I chose to change my rating as I truly believe he handled this situation very smoothly and professionally and genuinely cares about his customers! Thank you so much for making it right, I truly appreciate his gesture, we need more people like him!Another UPDATED REVIEW 2/19/24PLEASE DO NOT USE THESE MOVER, IT'S NOT WORTH IT!!!! YOUR MONEY TO BETTER ELSEWHERE! So when these mover moved our fridge they assured us that they knew how to fully install the fridge at the new house, but when they installed it they said the water valve didn't work so we needed to call a plumber to come out and fix that. Well they lied to us and didn't know how to install the fridge properly. Luckily I knew a professional who know how to fix appliances (washer/dryers, fridges, and etc) and told us we just needed to turn on the water valve. Thank goodness I had him check this before I called a plumber because we all know how expensive that can be! Also tell me why both of their electric drills ran out of batteries at 9:30 am-10:30 am and they didn't bring the charger so they had to hand unscrew/screw things! I felt like they did that on purpose to add more time to this move! I swear I am NEVER going to use these movers and I would NEVER recommend them to anyone!UPDATE REVIEW 2/17/24I was so confident that these movers would be the perfect ones as you can see from my previous review several years ago, but I guess it depends on who you get. We lived in a one story so I figured there wouldn't be too much stuff to move and that two movers could get the job done in maybe 3 hours? So 2 movers showed up, one looked like they knew what they were doing and the other seemed like they just got hired on or a friend that tagged along. Overall, they needed 3 people to get the job because my husband helped them out a lot and when I confronted them about that, their response was "Your husband helping doesn't change the pay and he actually helped saved ya'll time by helping us". I did not like that response at all. I thought it was very unprofessional. Also, this move took longer than expected because all their drills weren't charged and they had to unscrew and screw everything manually. Unfortunately I will not be using this company on the future.If you are in need of a delivery service then these are the guys to hire! I ordered a 3 piece sectional from rooms to go and the delivery service provided by rooms to go had a ridiculous long wait. I called these guys on a Friday and they were able to pick up my furniture piece the next day and deliver it to me! Once they delivered my 3 piece sectional I realized the warehouse at rooms to go provided me one incorrect sectional piece. This delivery service was willing to take the wrong piece back and deliver the correct piece, but this process took an entire week to fix with 3 different trips! But this issue had nothing to do with this delivery company, rooms to go was at fault entirely! Even though this problem was not this delivery company's fault, they were willing to help me out to make this right without an additional cost! Hands down I would use their service again, no doubt! “I highly recommend Ameritex as they have such friendly and efficient staff and crew. Jorge and his crew made what seemed like an impossible task possible. They helped me move last week and were super efficient and patient as the reality of the amount of boxes came to light. There was also the difficulty of the apartment freight elevator being used by others even though it had been reserved for my move. They worked for almost 10 hours and got the job done. They truly made a difficult moving situation so much more bearable. This is the third time I've used Ameritex for a move, and I have never been more grateful for their professionalism and care.”

“Great service and GREAT crates -- highly recommend these folks.
The crates are the best way to move -- avoid buying and/or breaking down cardboard boxes.
Rented 40 crates -- they delivered them and picked them up -- plus provided 2 rolling carts that easily held 20 carts each to move them around at drop off and pick up.
Not anxious to move again, but if I do, I will certainly use them again.”

“Good experience- 2nd time using Allied. Moving from Texas back to California. Driver RT was the greatest & his Ca. crew. The Houston crew that loaded me was very nice & professional. Alan & Lupe' - kudos to them for their hard work.
The office, Angie Palomo did everything very well to ensure the schedule stayed in tact & everything was in order. Ed Garcia the salesman was the best. Enjoyed working with him on the estimate.
Pricing was quite accurate. Very important. Everything was in tact from beginning to ending.
They don't charge by weight, only by cubit feet. They don't rip you off like the other Van Lines.”

“This summer of 2024 we relocated from Houston to California to be closer to our daughter and her family. After getting estimates from multiple moving companies in Houston, we chose Westheimer transfer and Storage because of their A+ BBB rating, online reviews, bonding and insurance, and because Ed G, the rep/ estimator, was professional, courteous, efficient, and he answered all our questions as he walked us through the process. He is a confidence builder of trust in his company.
When it came to packing day, the crew was on time and packed everything with care. We even had artwork crated. The next day the crew loaded out our household shipment, again being safe and careful with the items. We stored our belongings with them for 2 months while finding a new house. They took great care of our stuff. Even during Hurricane Beryl, their warehouse held up, and no damage was sustained.
Special thanks to Angie our move coordinator. She kept us updated as needed, and was always available to answer questions.
