So I called these guys to check up on my appointment that I had on a Monday since weather wasn't looking to good for that day. I was told by the lady that the "CAPTAIN" would check the conditions and notify me by Sunday. I never got a call from anyone but I did get a confirmation email stating that we were still scheduled to go out. I had guys coming out from different place we all had about a hour and a half drive to get to Freeport we knew that there was going to be thunderstorms since Friday but we figured these "EXPERIENCED CAPTAINS" knew what they were doing and if I canceled they would take my $500 which I think they wanted me to do since I didn't get a call till about 5:30 a.m from "CAPTAIN CODY" telling me that we couldn't go out because of the conditions my appointment was at 6 a.m that day we had already arrived at the location. So we met up with this person and asked him why he didn't let us know ahead of time so we wont waste our time coming all the way for nothing, since we all knew the weather wasn't going to be good all he said was "well conditions change" he really looked like he didn't give a s*** about what just had happened. On the website it says that the don't hire any young inexperienced captains every captain I saw that day looked like they were in there 20s. Don't waste your time and money with these guys you never know when the "conditions change".

Kevin & Steve were wonderful captains and put us on the fish!!! It was an amazing morning on the water. Steve started to chum and said, "Hopefully, the fish will start coming within an hour." He obviously knew his stuff because were were reeling in monster red drum after monster red drum within the hour. We also caught 3 Atlantic Sharpnose Sharks! We had 3 children on the boat as well and Kevin & Steve are great with families. I've been on other charters where the captains were crude and profane in front of my children, but Kevin & Steve were classy from start to finish. Thank you to Kevin & Steve for an absolutely incredible morning on the water and for making a fish memory that will last a lifetime.

Trip should have been cancelled due to 4-6' seas. Was delayed by 3.5 hours due to engine trouble. Then they didn't have boat gassed up nor ice so that took another 30-40 minutes... Th e smell of gas at the back of the boat was so bad you couldn't hardly breath and it was so rough we couldn't go anywhere else and they had the Ison glass down which made it worse. They blamed it on the vents but we have been on over 50 offshore boats and never had this problem before. They also said this was the last season for this boat. Engine died while we were offshore which took another 15 minutes to get it running again. Due to rough seas and gas smell 2 people got sick so we were back within 3 hours. Captain said he could not take us bay fishing but if we called it then they would only charge us for the 5 hour trip. Total rip off. Poor communication, unprofessional and old crappy boat.

Have been out several times with Cowboy Charters and always have a blast and always come home with a full cooler. Crew is always fun to hang out with and knowledgeable. Highly recommend them!!!

We had a great time! Caught some red snapper and mackerel. Definitely will go out again.
