“This place seems like it's in the middle of nowhere where but what a treat it was to come here. It's really only a few minutes outside of Fredericksburg. The ambience was awesome and the food was fantastic. The bonus is the small motorcycle museum they have on the side.”

“We have stayed at Contigo Ranch Fredericksburg twice, once in a cottage for a wedding and once in a cabin for a mid-week getaway and both experiences were 11/10!! The cottages are sleek and sophisticated with comfy beds, plush towels, a HUGE shower - simple luxury is the description that comes to mind.The cabins are rustic, cozy and beautifully crafted. We loved the peace and quiet and have never felt more relaxed than after 2 days and nights reading on the porch, taking long baths in the jacuzzi, and stargazing at night. It’s amazing what the tranquility and beautiful natural setting of Contigo Ranch does for the soul! We will be back again and again.”

“I cannot say enough on how blown away I was coming to stay here. We were welcomed by Rebecca, the owner/chef and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was inviting and everyone was welcoming. Keith played music in the saloon and had the best drinks made by Cameron. The room we stayed in was big, comfortable and the bed was luxurious to say the least. Breakfast the next morning hit the spot and cannot wait to go back to stay. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hill Country for a truly magical experience.”

“Very nice and clean accommodation. It was spotless and quiet. However, be sure to read the fine print regarding your reservation, and here's why.I booked Miss Lottie for myself for a solo trip. My retired mother decided to join me. So, I tried to upgrade to a larger trailer.Even though I booked well in advance (at least two weeks), when I tried to secure a larger space, I was informed that no changes could be made inside the 30-day window before my check-in date. Also, no refunds either.So, Mom and I shared the small trailer and made the best of it. But it would have been better to have the ability to move our reservation, especially if other trailers were available.Another reason I dropped a star is that we were not able to take a hot shower during our entire three-night stay. The property manager tried to fix the issue, but the water never got warmer than barely lukewarm. Since it was October and cool in the mornings and evenings, this was disappointing and very inconvenient. Furthermore, the showers are outside and I could not stand under cool water while being exposed to cool air, shivering to get clean. Besides those two grievances, we enjoyed our stay in the spotless, beautiful surroundings.”

From the moment we got in contact with them to the wedding itself, they were friendly, helpful, clear, straight forward and everything was done with an extraordinary level of care and detail. The venue itself is beautiful, and the brand new chapel was a surprise that was only built after we actually booked! Both Jeff and Amy were excellent communicators and I believe what we got for the price was unparalleled. This was the only venue we ever looked at because it was everything we wanted- the main lodge, the chapel, the grounds and the cottages on the property- all gave us the wedding of our dreams! “I’m surprised that a lot of people are shocked that these are tiny homes! I booked this through Airbnb for a great price compared to surrounding options (perhaps because it was an off season). The winery/restaurant is across the street. On their website it clearly states that “Unique tiny houses, offering cozy space and private patios for your outdoor adventures”. It’s maybe not the Ritz Carlton but my group and I had no major issues with our house. There was hot water, the bathroom (toilet and shower) worked, the AC worked. It was a quiet community as well. All the appliances worked. Good communication with our host. No hidden fees. We had a seamless check in and check out process. Nearby town square (a 5-8 minute drive away). If you want to get into the finer details, the toilet lid was loose, the shower door was a bit difficult to close, there was cracking in the foundation next to the front door/ a door gap on the top of the door. Beyond that, we had a good time here! I think it’s worth the price if you visit during an off season. I included a video of our unit. Unit 15. (Luckily, our unit was close to the parking lot so we didn’t need to roll our luggage very far) We were having a girls trip celebrating my cousin’s engagement hence the decor!”
