Better to stay in Fredericksburg if you are traveling with family. Grotto not as nice as photos suggest and is claustrophobic. Villas are small and dark, Wi-Fi frequently disconnects, and mattresses old and not turned frequently enough to avoid wear.

I cannot say enough on how blown away I was coming to stay here. We were welcomed by Rebecca, the owner/chef and the food was amazing. The atmosphere was inviting and everyone was welcoming. Keith played music in the saloon and had the best drinks made by Cameron. The room we stayed in was big, comfortable and the bed was luxurious to say the least. Breakfast the next morning hit the spot and cannot wait to go back to stay. I would highly recommend to anyone visiting the Hill Country for a truly magical experience.

Interesting place, like staying in a ghost town. Nobody was there when we checked in, just a envelope with key and directions to room. Room was nice, large with a jacuzzi tub!Restaurant or bar wasn't open at all so had the long drive into town. This could be a great place, needs repairs and maintenance. If you want QUIET getaway, this is the place! No TV sketchy internet.Rooms: We stayed in Micheal Angelo

Such a cool experience staying here for a weekend getaway. The owner and staff were all very friendly and our second story room in the lodge had an AMAZING view of Enchanted Rock and the surrounding area! The estate is fun to explore and isn’t that far from town + SUPER close to Enchanted Rock state area. The breakfast was decent, rooms were lacking some amenities and were a bit antiqued but for an unplugged time away it was a great spot!

Had a great Baby Moon at Trois Estate! The weather was pretty bad and we had a lot of rain but our hosts made sure we had plenty to do to get out of the rain and have a good time. We enjoyed the restaurant specials and pizza, breakfast, live music in the saloon, trivia night was fun, and the views were spectacular once the rain cleared up! The room was much larger than we expected and we were pleasantly surprised. We had a King bed with 2 bathrooms! The amenities provided were perfect for our stay, we never felt like we needed to ask for anything. There is wifi available, but this trip was meant for us to "get away" so we didn't take advantage of it much. All of the staff made us feel very welcome and were so friendly. The views of the stars are beautiful and Enchanted Rock is very visible from the location - great sights at any time! We will definitely be back and we've already sent recommendations to our friends and family. Thank you for having us! Can't wait to come back!Rooms: Rooms are in the lodge along with private "villas" along the propertyNearby activities: Enchanted Rock and Fredericksburg. On site are activities around the property.Walkability: Amazing property to walk aroundFood & drinks: Restaurant and Saloon on site along with the breakfast buffet in the morningsNoteworthy details: Large property with beautiful views of Enchanted Rock and the Texas night sky.

Came here for a chill birthday getaway. Met a lot of wonderful people staying at the estate. Food was great! Had fun in the Saloon! Bartender, Cameron, was a blast! Gave us a lot of info on the history of the estate and several recommendations to explore in town. We didn't have any trouble getting there and when we arrived someone was close by the office to make sure we have everything we need since it was our first B&B. We're planning for multiple stays at Trois Estate throughout the year. Great place to relax and enjoy the views. Definitely has the vibes of being in a little village kind of feel. Such a unique atmosphere and experience and close to Enchanted Rock. It was a relaxing adventure. Definitely coming back!

Lights in room didn't work, but they brought lamps. Saloon was nice when there weren't screaming kids running around everywhere. Staff is friendly &casual.

Seriously, this is one of the most beautiful vacation destinations my husband and I have seen!!Rebecca Trois & her staff did an amazing job at making us feel "at home".We stayed in the Cielo Bovedo Room. The brick ceiling is stunning.Plenty of amenities to help us feel comfortable during our stay.We had dinner on a Saturday night. (All you can eat for $25) & went to the Trois Saloon for a show afterwards. The food was delicious and it was really nice to meet the other guests. Everyone was so nice! The free breakfast every morning was also delicious!!The VIEWS are ABSOLUTELY STUNNING!!The underground Grotto & Chapel are simply gorgeous!!The wifi is spotty, but I think that is to be expected with the location. We look forward to staying again in the future!!

I recently had the pleasure of staying at this delightful resort nestled in the picturesque Texas Hill Country. This hidden gem truly deserves every single one of its five stars and more. From the moment we arrived, we were captivated by the resort's charm and unique character. The architecture seamlessly blends with the natural beauty of the surroundings. The resort's thoughtful design and attention to detail truly set it apart from others in the area. The highlight of our stay was undoubtedly the breathtaking views of Enchanted Rock, swimming in the beautiful grotto and listening to live music in the old time saloon ( I highly recommend ordering an old fashion…it was perfection). The resort itself reminds you of an old Italian village. It was like stepping into a postcard scene! What truly sets this resort apart is its exceptional staff. The entire team went above and beyond to ensure that our stay was nothing short of perfect. Their friendliness, attentiveness, and genuine hospitality made us feel welcome and like valued guests. The location is perfect for short drives into Fredericksburg to explore the wineries and shops. In conclusion, this Texas Hill Country resort exceeded all my expectations and left an indelible mark on my heart. Its charm, unique ambiance, stunning views, and exceptional staff make it an absolute must-visit destination. I wholeheartedly recommend this resort to anyone seeking a memorable and enchanting getaway. You won't be disappointed! Also, there are cats!

This location was like its own hidden world. It's perfect for getting away from the main stream and relaxing. Beautiful views, quiet, and friendly. If you're looking for modern, fancy or high tech, this is definitely not for you. But if you want a romantic, quiet place to stay that is very in tune with nature, this IS the place. Food is homemade family style buffet. There's a casual saloon with lots of alcohol choices and music. The rooms are cozy and clean, but very basic. We did kill a scorpion in our room the first night so be aware...they're a possibility when you're out in the wilderness.

Every truly artistic individual goes through rough patches, they scratch off their canvas and start over, usually letting the art, the idea, speak to them. That is what's happening with Trois Estate right now.I urge people to come here, now more than ever, to breathe back life into this Sleeping Beauty.I don't know much about this place's glory days apart from an article from 2011 displayed at the breakfast area. I'm glad I got to discover it at this stage of its life though. Now to the experience. Overall I would describe it as very adventurous. It all starts with the driveway, slowly leading you further into the bushy entrance and then it appears. You find yourself amongst houses and bridges and trees and narrow alleyways. Here is the first brilliant outcome - you make contact with fellow inhabitants who point you to the Office. I have to say, I get Lotus vibes. Resort vacation with a little mystery. If you want more privacy, make sure you snatch one of the suites. On the other hand, if you want to make bonds, have some fun and meet random people - go for the Lodge.Every piece of this resort has its own personality, its own story to whisper to you. Make sure you wander. Stroll and get lost. It is so much more memorable if you have to discover something yourself, the less arrows the better. The Grotto. So much effort went into this enchanting cave. I'm sure one could spend endless time there and not notice. The other pool is fun. It's big enough to throw a ball, long enough to swim a little and shallow enough for children. The evening entertainment is provided by the Saloon, where you will find trophies knowingly looking at you as you establish more connections at the bar or by the tables, playing all sorts of games from poker to dominos or UNO.The highlight of the resort is the Sky Deck. Loaded with every chair possible, it is the perfect spot for a romantic evening. Grab a drink and go up there. It was the first time for me, witnessing the undescribable beauty of the Milky Way.I left with my heart filled with joy, my soul a little wiser, but most of all, I didn't want to leave at all.Rooms: Every room is individual, artistic. A/C. Fridge. Microwave.Nearby activities: It is only 15 minutes from Fredericksburg and 1/2 mile from Enchanted Rock.Safety: Very safe secluded area, well lit at night.Food & drinks: Excellent breakfast from 9 to 10am. Dinner offered for a set fee. Stacked bar.

Very nice attempt to recreate an Italian or Spanish town. The rooms were nice and rustic. Very nice getaway. It was very nice to take an evening stroll through the compound. The night sky was very clear and you can see the milky way. The only let down was the breakfast, don't count on eating here. Not a problem with eateries a short drive away.Rooms: Each room is different. Ours had a king bed tiled floor and a vaulted brick ceiling.Nearby activities: On the compound you have an outdoor pool (not deep.more for lounging) and the grotto pool. Half a mile away is enchanted rock park. About 20 minutes away is Fredericksburg for shopping and eating.Food & drinks: The compound has a nice hall and bar. Love music and drinks are decently priced.

One of our favorite places to visit every summer. Beautiful property! Setup like a quaint little pueblo town. Cool amenities like an outdoor pool, underground grotto, saloon (with live music), and a sky deck overlooking Enchanted Rock or a beautiful view of the stars. Staff is so nice and inviting! 10/10 experience every time.

Beautiful BNB! Perfect for people who wants to disconnect from the daily stress and just relax, while having great time and delicious food, everyone out there is sooo friendly, is such a different place, so cute and cozy, in love with that! The rooms are so lovely and their grotto is unbelievable amazing, the rooftop with so beautiful view, perfect for having deep conversations while drinking coffee. They have free breakfast. I’m so in love
