It was like stepping back in time. I kept waiting for Indians to attack ? It was very peaceful and beautiful. I enjoyed watching the cows. Great TV selection. We were in the cabins with the breeze way. It had a small kitchen with a fridge, microwave, coffee maker and mugs, and an electric cork screw opener and wine glasses. I especially liked the jacuzzi tub! The beds were quite high which was difficult to get on,but the mattress was very comfortable. The bathroom sinks need to be cleaned properly. Everything else was really clean! Overall, we really enjoyed our stay.

I had such a good time here during the eclipse! And the property owner was super nice to us and even gave us a fat tip on how to get in line fast to see Bill Nye ? That was slick! Anyways I literally had the best vacation of my life here. The memories I made I will have with me for the rest of my life!
The whole place is beautiful and the chapel there is so cool with the windows all the way around, anyways if I could give 6 stars I would. Thank you!

I cannot say enough good things about our experience with The Lodge. From the moment we got in contact with them to the wedding itself, they were friendly, helpful, clear, straight forward and everything was done with an extraordinary level of care and detail. The venue itself is beautiful, and the brand new chapel was a surprise that was only built after we actually booked! Both Jeff and Amy were excellent communicators and I believe what we got for the price was unparalleled. This was the only venue we ever looked at because it was everything we wanted- the main lodge, the chapel, the grounds and the cottages on the property- all gave us the wedding of our dreams! THANK YOU!

We got married here in September and the entire weekend was absolutely perfect! Jeff and Amy were so easy to work with and patient during the entire planning process. All of our guests loved staying at the cottages and said we had the Best Wedding Ever!

I have always loved coming here with my family. The cabins are so sweet and their placement off the beaten path is the peace I am looking for. The deer and cows are charming and excellent neighbors. Another important factor is the staff is absolutely wonderful. They are so accommodating and work very hard for you to have the best time. I would recommend this place to anyone.

Overall, we had an awesome time at the Lodge for our wedding. The on-site lodging allowed our family and friends to enjoy the weekend together, as well as a safe drive (or walk) back to the cabins. With the ability to set up our decor on Friday and tear down on Sunday, it allowed us to enjoy our wedding and not feel rushed during our big day. Amy and Jeff were very responsive with our questions and everything went very smoothly during our event. It is a very neat place. We comfortably fit 160 people inside the venue with a reasonably sized dance floor. Would highly recommend to others for an event or simply a relaxing destination to stay at while visiting Fredericksburg, TX.

The lodge was the perfect venue for “the best day ever”! It is simple, elegant and rustic all at the same time. No need to decorate if you so choose. The sound system is premier! Bridal and groom’s suites are perfect for the bridal party to get ready for the big day. Having the cabins available for family and guest to stay makes the weekend perfect! The cabins are comfortable, clean and well decorated. Everything was perfect for my daughter’s wedding weekend. Choosing this venue was the best decision! Amy and Jeff were quick to respond to questions and had the place in tip top shape. Look no further. This is the place!

We got married at The Lodge on 12/17/22 and it was the most perfect venue. All of our guests loved the classic Hill Country vibe and Amy and Jeff were so great to work with and made the entire experience perfect. They responded so fast to all of our questions (we had a lot but they were so patient) and having the cabins on site for our guests to stay at made the weekend so much more special so that no one had to drink and drive. It was the perfect wedding and The Lodge played a big part in that, I couldn't recommend them more.
