Nice winery. Enjoyed the put put and cornhole outdoor spaces. Wines were good but I think their tasting menu could have been better. Overall, i would return but wouldn’t be my first choice. I have been to better wineries in the area.

Truly the best and most beautiful winery! We will continuously be coming back here. Darrell has been our bartender the past 2 times and he is kind, friendly, and knowledgeable. The Edge/The Resort at Fredricksburg is truly the best!

The Edge recently voluntarily hosted state republicans hand-counting the Super Tuesday ballots. This was so time consuming it cost Texas taxpayers over $57,000, as the 200 counters took 24 full hours and were paid $12/hr.This tasting room might not be political in itself, but the owners have shown that they care more about being a helping hand to state republicans and their wasteful spending than they care about just serving wine. There are enough other options in Fredericksburg, go elsewhere.

We had reservations for 10 and when we arrived the music was ridiculously loud. To the point we couldn’t even enjoy a conversation. Our server either didn’t know anything about the wine she was serving or just didn’t care. She rushed through every wine and I even asked about each wine and at one point she said “maybe it pulls plum or cherry notes, I don’t know” The place is beautiful but the service was absolutely terrible and was not impressed with the wine at all. No matter how much we asked about the wines, we could just tell she wanted to pour and leave our table. Which she knew she was getting gratuity from.

When we arrived at the Edge for a dinner reservation made for a Bachelorette dinner weeks in advance everyone was pleasantly surprised at how beautiful the building was. When our party of 11 was seated we were immediately told that they were out of items on their menu since they were so busy that day. We all understood and decided to make the best of what they had. As each person tried to order different items off the menu we kept being told that they were out of those items as well. We finally decided to just order a salad and soup. Around 10 minutes later we were told they were now out of soup. So we said ok we will just take the salad then. A few minutes later our waitress came out with a woman from the kitchen by the name of Laura who RUDELY told us they were now out of salad and had been for a while! At that time we did begin to question how at 630 when you have a dinner reservation can you be out of everything on the menu. The rude lady flat of told us that "Life Happens" flipped her hair and walked away. Literally the WORST EXPERIENCE EVER!!!! Will not be going back and will definitely let others know of our experience. Sad that we tried to make a special dinner for someone and it ended up being the WORST DINNER EXPERIENCE EVER!!

We arrived at this winery and were expecting a great experience due to other ratings we saw. Although we had no problems with the wine, if you plan on visiting other wineries in the same day, do not order food. We waited for 1:30 hrs for our food to come out, finished our bottle of wine and were itching to leave at that point to make the most out of our day. Upon canceling our food order they did apologize and told us to take the food anyway because coincidentally it happened to be ready at the exact same time that we canceled, however they said it would need to be boxed. We then eagerly waited for the boxed food to come for another 20 minutes only to inquire again before being told our food couldn't be boxed. It was a very frustrating time wasting experience and if the kitchen couldn't support our order we would have at least appreciated to be informed in a timely manner at any point in the process.

We were excited to check out the new winery hut they turned us around because we had a 10mo old baby peaceful on our carrier. They claimed that most wineries are going this way. Literally every winery we visited that day had no problem with our baby. Grandparents were visiting and this place wasted our time. If you’re going to establish a winery in Fredericksburg then embrace Texan values: God, country, family, freedom.

Place was very nice. Service not so much. Not sure because of our race. But just walked out and went to the next winery with 4.8 reviews. Now I know why you guys are so low

Gorgeous views. Relaxing and entertaining. Vast selection of wines, sparkling beverages, and delectable food selections. All farm to table. Mickey is very friendly and welcoming. His staff will greet you at the front door, with a refreshing taste of wine, as you enter their expansive open floor bar and outside seating overlooking the Pedernales River. The fresh air and rolling hillside filled with rocky waterfalls, will have you relaxing all day. Aidan was a pleasure to meet he is genuinely ki nd and caring. Cant wait to go back. If you want the perfect picture this is the place.

Our waitress Bri (Breanna) and her coworker Jamie made our visit to The Edge amazing! Both had such great personalities and were fun to interact with! Bri gave excellent service and descriptions of the wines we tried, and they were all amazing! Great atmosphere, great staff and a cool vibe!! We will be back! Thank you Bri (and Jamie) for making this my favorite stop on our wine tour!!
