I first went to her when a previous vet wanted to cut the paw off my cat. I took it to Amy Jo and she saved the paw. She is so intuitive and has that "magic" with animals.

My dog was so sick after a hike in the heat and she called me promptly, met me 25 min later at the office, and diagnosed and helped him with life threatening Rhabdomyolysis. We are vacationing hours from home, and I’m so grateful to this facility and team for their prompt and thorough after hours care. I don’t know what I’d have done without their willingness and dedication. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quality DVM to care for your animal/s.

I had written off Hill Country Wines, but wow… my experience at Slate has totally changed my perspective on what is possible and obviously extraordinary in the Tx wine country. We arrived 30 minutes prior to closing, and yet were greeted with so much warmth and southern hospitality. David had the most impeccable service, was a wellspring of industry knowledge, and gave us such a truly personal touch that really made this entire visit so unique and special. We had a few small pours of different wines before settling on the Insomniac blend. Incredible balance of flavors - dimensional and bold yet approachable. We purchased a bottle to bring home! If you get the chance to visit, sit at the bar for a more intimate experience and ask all the questions. They are so friendly and knowledgeable. Side note - love their mission on raising awareness and funds towards mental health. The artwork on display is exemplary.

2981 S State Hwy 16, FredericksburgThey found me a dog almost a year ago and she’s a wonderful fit for our family. I was a little to butt heavy and have since increased my exercise 10 fold. And the little dog loves it. I walk with her out in the yard to go potty and the yard is looking better then ever, on just a few moments a day. Then we take a short walk walk at night to empty her all out. Works like a charm.
My only regret is we live in a very small home and so a big dog won’t fit. Think of what could happen we could do a big dog. We would take big walks, I would get skinny, from the walk and carrying the 10lb dog in my arms.
