I was visiting Fredericksburg for vacation when a injured cat showed up at the house we were staying at. I had no idea what to do so I gave the vet clinic a call and the vet actually answered the phone. He was the most nicest vet I've ever dealt with. He said he'd treat her and I'd could back to get her at a later date to pick her up and that's what we did. Thank you Dr. Neil Tori and James for everything and for really caring for animals!

Dr. O'Neal has always seen my pets last minute and the team there including Jennifer have always provided superior service and care for our fur babies. Dr. O'Neal and team also saved our beloved yellow lab puppy (Brady) who lived to 17 after he had parvo. Hands down best vet in the hill country!

Staff is warm, caring, and accommodating. We had to go out of town for an emergency, and they were able to board our two Chihuahuas with little notice. We were anxious because this was the first time since we moved to a new state that the dogs were away from us. Our pups were happy and healthy when we picked them up and had no problems. They seemed calmer than at our previous boarding location and appeared to like the employees. There is a vet on site, which is an additional comfort. I recommend this facility.

Amazing staff. We had a sick alpaca and they were the only hospital in the area that would see her. The staff treated her like she was their personal pet. The doctor kept us up to date with phone calls and pictures.In the end, she didn't make it, but not from a lack of effort on their part. Highly recommend.

Terrible service!!! The vet hanged and subjected my pet to my face without caring, my puppy had a purple tongue until I had to remove it and he still said that the reason I took it was “stupid” don’t leave your pets in this place!!!!!!!!!!!!!! December 19 2022

My cat was having seizures on Thanksgiving and Dr. O'Neil met us at the clinic after hours to see her. I can't thank him enough for being there in our time of need. Compassionate and knowledgeable, this is a great veterinary clinic.

The vets are so caring and don't do unnecessary stuff to make money. The receptionist are so nice and helpful. They may not be the cheapest but they are the best in town and I know I've been to them all and have stayed with Pedernales for 7 years now. Dr. O'Neil has a heart of gold when it comes to saving your animal. Thanks for all they do !!
