Casey HANDS DOWN saved my dogs life! My dog was so sick after a hike in the heat and she called me promptly, met me 25 min later at the office, and diagnosed and helped him with life threatening Rhabdomyolysis. We are vacationing hours from home, and I’m so grateful to this facility and team for their prompt and thorough after hours care. I don’t know what I’d have done without their willingness and dedication. I highly recommend this place for anyone who wants a quality DVM to care for your animal/s.

This vet center is one of the best equipped and best staffed clinics in the business. The place is always spotlessly kept. Drs Lastovica and Pittmon are tops in their field and can skillfully and compassionately care for all your animals' needs - cows, horses, goats to your precious house pets. If you're looking for true expertise in the Hill Country, this is your place!

On vacation in Fredericksburg and our little Frenchie came down with a bladder infection. Called Friendship Vet and left a message as it was Sat morning. Within 30 min we had a call back and told to bring her in at 9 and they would try to work her in. Dr Pitmon saw her at 9:15 and checked her out including finding she had an ear infection. She was so professional, and we were out within an hour with medicine and treatment plan in hand. Thank you Dr Pitmon.

Took my dog Maggie May, to be spayed. I had called around for the best price. However, they managed to raise the price to $600 by the time they added on all the additional “treatments” they said she needed. Never again. My new vet is awesome. Save yourself and your wallet.

I took two of my cats to get checked up and I waited hours for them to call me back. And she said she gave them two shots each and the bill came out to almost $300! Today my girl cat is not doing any better and blood tests are pretty close to being $300 also! And I asked how much spaying and neutering were they are pretty much $200 for the boys and $300 for the girls! This place is price gouging like crazy! I'm definitely not coming back here again the other place I'm going to has better customer service and way lower prices. Stay clear of this place. They will milk your wallet dry!

This veterinarian is cruel to people and to animals. Insisted on muzzling my dog. Was very rough with him and then threatened my when I refused to allow this abuse.

They saved my puppies life. When I bought him at 8 weeks old, he was very sickly and clearly had been abused. I felt they were very knowledgeable about the medications needed for such a small puppy. They correctly diagnosed him with a rare disease and treated his staff infection for weeks. They treated my puppy as if it belonged to them, staff included.
