We have stayed her a couple of times. Barons Creekside is a very unique experience with all the swiss cabins. You will see deer, ducks and can't leave out the grounds cats! This is a must experience everyone should try!
Rooms: Each cabin is unique in their own way. The owner of this property has put great detail into each cabin.
Walkability: Great walking trails!

The location is perfect. The cabin we stayed in was outfitted with a small kitchenette, Jacuzzi tub, which was perfect for a romantic getaway. The theme was cute, and the deer, and ducks were everywhere! It was so nice to have deer eat out of your hand. My wife and I walked all over the grounds in the evenings.

I reserved Barons Cabin for mine and my wife’s 9 year anniversary as a surprise for her. Everything was amazing and she was awestruck at both the cabin and grounds (I had seen pictures and she hadn’t seen anything). The cabin was perfect for our one night stay and we cannot wait to go back and stay longer next time. We were even visited by a momma deer and her two babies and a precious little black cat our son named Snuggles.

We love Barons creekside not only are the grounds beautiful but the cabins are one of kind!! My husband and I have stayed there several times and never are disappointed in the beauty and the uniqueness. The cabins are fully stocked and immaculately clean!
The minute you drive upon the property, you feel peace and Serenity, as you hear the chuckling of the creek and all of the different birds you can leave your work stress behind. These cabins are a great getaway as a couple as we used to always do or as a small group as we did this time. I guarantee you will not regret staying here!

The Rooms, our cabin was beautiful but sometimes impractical. Sinks were too high, both kitchen and bathroom. Very difficult to enter the jacuzzi/shower due to high wall of jacuzzi. You can get burnt touching the tubing of the hot water.
The service was sometimes unkind but mostly very nice, the Club was great for several reasons the staff, the food and the musicians create a very nice ambiance.
The location of the cabin within the property was what I enjoyed the most. The location of the property was excellent.
I had a new, amazing, relaxing stay. I loved it.
Nearby activities: Lots to do. Das Peach Haus has the most delicious peaches I have eaten, the peach cider and their sauces were all novel and we also enjoyed the pond.

Rooms: Beautiful Cabin, clean, and cozy. Bed was too soft but other than that, everything was perfect! Just outside on the porch, I had the pleasure of watching all the wildlife of "Barrons Ark." Perfect Location!

Especially quaint, quiet and uniquely charming Davos Swiss log cottage! Sits amongst the vineyards, wildflower prairie and babbling brook.
Impeccably clean with all motors of a 4* hotel and more.
Greeted warmly by host’s nephew, Simon, upon arrival and was provided the cottage key with detailed map of the area. We arrived in the evening and were starved! Simon immediately found a table for us to dine alfresco and listen to the band. So enjoyed the Kuhlman wine, shrimp tacos and garlic sausage plate!
All the amenities you find in a 4*Hotel and more!
Very comfort mattress and lofty long pillows galore. Super soft and absorbent towels!
Furnishings were comfortable inside and out
Who gets such charm with a jacuzzi in the bedroom!
Rooms: Oh so delightfully decorated, from the past Swiss cottages! Very whimsical. So comfortable with lofty bedding and luxurious towels!
All the amenities of a 4* hotel.
Nearby activities: 20 minutes to numerous wineries, a brewery, peach orchards
25 minutes to Enchanted Rock State Park with 11 miles of hiking
4 minutes to downtown Fredericksburg, shopping, dining, The Pacific war museum,
Park,
Safety: Well lighted inside and out. The raised bedroom had reflective edging for safety!
Walkability: Short walk to the club for wine, dine, live band and sunset views. Short walks to view the stream amd the deer.
Food & drinks: Enjoyed the shrimp tacos and the German garlic sausage plate. Beer and wine choices are wonderful.
Noteworthy details: A piece of Heaven on Earth!
Ice cold oj or brewed to your taste coffee in room or to enjoy in peace and quiet on the porch in rocking chairs or the swing for two overlooking the babbling brook. A beautiful natural surrounding.

Wonderful experience. The owner, Daniel, was very engaging and nice and the entire property was picturesque. We stayed in the Grindelwald cabin which was lovely and had daily sighting and interactions with ducks and deer. The. Lib was a nice place to relax for a drink, some dinner and live music.
