Worst managed electric company I've ever used as a provider in my 60 years. Electric goes out when the wind blows too hard. Outages are frequent and long lasting. Crews are slow to repair and they never have equipment to repair in their inventory. Electric is usually down for 3 to 7 days per occurrence. Electric lines are poorly maintained. The customer service and field personnel are nice people that are easy to deal with but the people that are managing this company are completely incompetent. We are going full solar by next summer and won't have to worry about this clown show anymore.

Absolutely the worst electricity provider I've ever had. Power rarely stays on, and costs 4 times the cost of another COOP I belong to.

The absolute worst electric company I’ve ever dealt with in 20 years. If my dog farts, the power goes out and it stays out for hours right now it’s been 24 hours. But when it comes time for our bills to come out, they want to charge us an extra $200 because they have to buy electricity. The same thing happened when we had the snowmageddon out for seven days two months later my bill was 300$ extra. this company is the only thing that makes me wanna move from our beautiful area.

Great service. Friendly people. Outages sometimes during bad weather but the try to get it fixed at quickly as possible. Customer since summer of 2000.

Your company driver(s) coming through Hearne need to start using their turn signals while driving in the NVEC trucks. They are being unsafe driving erratically through our neighborhoods with children outside playing. ?

Power went out. Reported it online and within 30 minutes electric company showed up and restored power. Thank you NVEC for the quick service.

The most UNreliable electric provider in ERCOT! It is rare to go a whole week without a loss or outage. It is understandable why they opted out of competition as they wouldn't have any customers left.

How can this company even allowed to stay in business? They charged what ever price they desired to do so and don't give a flip about their customers when there are outages because they are the ONLY company in the area you can use. Something needs to be done about this, they simply are stealing people hard working money.

“1” is too high of a rating for this company. They are robbing people with their outrageous charges, the service is very unreliable, and their customer service is horrible. If they had any competition at all, they would be out of business.

Five days without power, and when the power came back on, it was intermittent. Had to run generators for more than five days to keep freezer and refrigerator cold. Never any communication as to what to expect. I have two different electrical utilities on my property. Navasota valley goes down with any small storm. BTU, on the same property, never goes down and was up all during this period.

Outages during ice storms happen, but to falsely send us a call and text that our power has been restored only for us to drive back an hour from staying with family to discover our house is still without power is just awful business practice. Not even a year after their transformer blew and started a grass fire on our property. Thanks NVEC.
