Dr. Gumfory has been our family vet for many years. I worked in vet medicine for around 10 years (many years ago) and he's the best vet I've ever met. He is thorough, experienced obviously, conservative and logical about next steps in diagnostics. Many vets that arent as skilled and experienced often will rely on expensive diagnostic, sometimes invasive tests rather just good old fashioned sense and han using tbHe will have very well thought out treatment plans and be considerate of costs /age of pet, etc. while offering a range of options. He also has incredible bedside manor and is the sweetest guy. We love him so much.Dr. Wallace is new to us, but our dog William was attacked and in bad shape T an ER vet. I felt uncomfortable with their treatment recommendations and didn't feel confident in their abilities at all. Westcreek got us in, helped assess William, and dr Wallace was incredible. She came and checked on William while we were seeing Dr. Gumfory to see how he was doing. She called and also listened to my concerns that he needed more sedatives in order to rest and called in meds.Don't go anywhere else. This is the best place, with the best care. I'll never go anywhere else

Could not have asked for a more caring team. I had to let my baby good to the rainbow bridge. And I was heartbroken but the staff were very kind and understanding and cared . Thank you so much

My elderly dog suffered from the end stages of liver failure, and I'lll give Dr. McNeal credit for letting me know that when the time came, I could call to discuss how to handle his approaching death and makes plans. Let me make clear that I have had wonderful experiences with all the veterinarians here - all of them throughout the years that I have taken my four dogs here. However, the morning that my dog went into shock and clearly was dying, I called and spoke to a receptionist I'll leave unnamed. I made clear that my dog was in the process of dying and asked if I could bring him in on an emergent basis to be humanely euthanized. Abby coldly stated there were no current appointments that day and that I would have to wait two weeks out. It astounded me that she not only displayed zero empathy towards my dog's situation but was not listening to the urgency of what I was saying. She then, in annoyed manner, stated that I could bring my dog in for an extra $100 fee to be seen by a vet, which tells me she wasn't even listening to me or my concerns, as my dog was actively dying. Before I could answer, she placed me on hold, then came back, sounding very irritated that I did not accept either of the options she offered. I hung up on her, admittedly, out of sheer shock and rage. It's like having someone not accommodate your child that is needlessly suffering while dying. I called their corporate office and made them aware of the situation, as I have to take my dog to an emergency center to have him put down. It was traumatic regardless but this was not how I envisioned him last moments to be, not at some emergency center but rather where I had taken him for years. Corporate contacted Dr. Gumfory, who went out of his way to repeatedly call me to apologize and attempt to do damage control for his staff's actions. Although I do appreciate the corporate office and Dr. Gumfory reaching out, it was too soon (TOO SOON) for Dr. Gumfory to immediately continue calling me after his staff made no effort to accommodate me when I needed them, and honestly, no apology is going to make up for your staff's severe fuck-up. You can't train someone to have empathy, Dr. Gumfory...you should have fired her. Imagine me - sitting there with my dying dog, his head rolling back and forth because there's no muscle tone, he's in and out of consciousness, I'm holding back tears - trying to set an appointment that YOUR emotionless, empathy-lacking staff member should have had the ability to accommodate me in that specific moment of time - not make an already traumatic event worse. To the unnamed receptionist, if you read this, karma is unforgiving. Just as you had no mercy for my dog in his last moments or my attempts to help him not suffer, perhaps karma will be just as ruthless as you were that day if it revisits you. For all the years of excellent service with Westcreek Animal Hospital, it took that one call/experience to completely destroy your reputation, integrity as providers and overall credibility with me. Others please be forewarned. I never expected this to happen to my dog, nor would I want it to happen to anyone else. Be wary of them; some of the receptionists power trip, lack empathy, and take that power that can determine your dog's treatment outcomes.

Absolutely love this place. All the staff here are so kind and they really care about your animals. Took my cats in for some tests and they must've worked late because they got the results to me after operating hours. I was expecting to get the results later in the week but they got them to me ASAP. Definitely put my mind at ease and they treat my pets with lots of love.

Somewhat disappointed after my recent 4-day boarding of my English mastiff this time. Requested nail trim when made the phone appointment, then also made request at check-in when I dropped my dog off for boarding.....upon arrival to pick my dog up after boarding, nail trim had been "overlooked" and not performed....had to wait for nail trim. It would have been nive and MORE PROFESSIONAL if nail trim would have been performed as originally scheduled so resulting trauma and anxiety would not have been so significant at pickup. Also received bill for additional lab and health tests....but NO RESULTS OF THE TESTS were provided and no comments or feed back about results from a vet or staff. Past experience here has been very good......disappointed this time, wonder why, and if this is what to expect in the future???

Super friendly and helpful in scheduling our cats back to back. A clinic full of Aggie vets is a reassuring thing.

This has been a family vet for 20+ years. I have been forced to change vets because of very long wait times. This is a great vet if you want to schedule appointments months in advance, but needs improvement on cases where your animal is hurt or sick.

West Creek animal Hospital is fantastic. We just adopted D-Oh-G! He is a little over two months old and needed to set up vaccines. We also needed to have him looked at for some worms so he needed to visit with the vet as well. The West Creek staff and veterinarian were wonderful. TheCovid protocol and being a new patient at West Creek animal Hospital all went quite smoothly. We are looking forward to establishing an VCA Westcreek Animal Hospital as our veterinary care for our new adopted puppy!
