Our Wells Fargo Financial Advisor left Wells Fargo. This story may explain why...I recently called the downtown branch and spoke to Lance Cobb about getting an advisor to handle our 529 College America Accounts (3) and open a new one. After much discussion (since this was my 8th call and I had been shuffled from contact to contact with this seemingly simple request) he informed me that "to be quite honest, you don't really have enough money in these accounts (only 3030.88) for Wells Fargo to try to find you an advisor to manage this small amount of money. Honestly, I would go ahead and move them back to American Funds where they started." We took his wise advice.I would say that keeping customers is not high on their priority list. At least not this average customer. On the other hand...Kudo to Lynn at the Saginaw branch who did everything in her power to help me get to the right person/department after I had been shuffled around so much. SHe even called me back to check and see if I was helped.

We were doing business downtown and hitting a Wells Fargo was on the list. Well imagine our surprise when it was walking distance from our present location (UBS Financial Services). It was a very interesting walk, from one building to the next, without ever having to go outside. The presence of an eatery surprised me. What also surprised me was seeing an actual Wells Fargo stage coach. Super cool and I took lots of pictures. Service here was fast and friendly and super convenient! Like Jeff B.'s review (from 4/24/2014), there was "literally" no line and we did "breeze in and out in no time at all. " Bottom line: If you like westerns, I'd stop in just to look at the coach. It's pretty cool. What a way to travel!

Amanda and Barbara are so super friendly! Thanks Wells Fargo! Amanda even asked how my college classes are going, wow! It's nice to be remembered. This was only my 2nd or 3rd visit.

This location is located inside Wells Fargo tower, right up the escalators. I mostly just use the ATM which is very convenient. It is never too busy here and great to take care of quick bank errands.

This is the Wells Fargo Bank retail location in the Wells Fargo Building at 201 Main Street. It's in the lobby of the building, just up the escalator from the corner of Main Street and 2nd Street, across from the Worthington Hotel. There is literally NEVER a line at this bank, so you can breeze in and out in no time at all. Very friendly tellers and there are bankers on site and available if you want to open an account or talk about other products / services. Wells is a HUGE bank, which is a hassle when you need to get something done and the only contact is an 800 number, but the folks at this branch have been super helpful and never tell me to just call customer service. Keep it up, Stagecoach!

Short of completely losing a home purchase, which may still happen, but through no fault of my own, I am not sure how one can have a more deplorable experience with a home mortgage lender. If I could give a negative star rating it would be -5 stars. This branch has dropped the ball multiple times and it doesn't look like it will stop anytime soon. The lower rate is simply not worth the complete lack of competence and professionalism I have received from loan manager Ms. Jennifer Dudley and branch manager Mr. Billy Mays in the last week. They offered some kind of no appraisal home loan program then, according to Mr. Mays, Jennifer failed to click a submit button for the program over a week ago. When she realized her mistake she finally hit the submit button and the report for the program, surprisingly came back with a "no hit" meaning that 5 business days before closing, over a holiday weekend, a "super rush" appraisal would need to be ordered. This comes to light after she informed my realtor and me that everything was moving along on time. After discussions and several emails on Thursday and Friday with both Jennifer and Billy they agree to pay all the appraisal fees by either paying the vendor directly or crediting me at closing. I was promised this agreement in writing, but have yet to receive that communication despite asking for it. Now I am less than 3 days out from the closing deadline and to put it mildly things get even more disappointing. They finally get an appraiser to accept the order, in fact they get two. They schedule one for 2-4pm today, then promptly cancel that appraiser and attempt to schedule another for the next day from 10:30-11am. Both my realtor and the seller's realtor attempt to contact Billy and Jennifer but theirs and my calls, emails and texts go unanswered. Turns out the second appraiser doesn't have a supra key requiring that one of the realtor's to meet them at the property. Neither realtor is available at that time requested by the appraiser. Why did they cancel the first appraiser? Why would they attempt to schedule another appraiser the day before closing who doesn't have a supra key? Will i get to closing on time? I wish I knew, but I can't get either Jennifer or Billy to return my calls, emails or texts. Billy stated that they are committed to customer service and closing on time, but I have yet to see such commitment. I wish I had just told Jennifer, "thanks but no thanks" when I attempted to terminate my application with her and Wells Fargo instead of being suckered by her "no appraisal program offer" and went with the smaller bank with the slightly higher interest rate. the smaller banker who I had more confidence in through personal reference for treating people with professionalism and courtesy. I just pray something good comes from this experience.
