The gates are closed during the open hours. I drove over expecting them to be open. The drive through is closed too.

This neighborhood store used to be good. I even had given a previous rating of 5 stars. This is changing today. This store has declined rapidly in product availability and service within the last 6 months. Within the last 3 weeks, I have visited this location on 3 separate occasions needing to visit the customer service desk. ALL 3 TIMES, IT WAS COMPLETELY CLOSED. My visits were not at odd hours either. Seven pm on a Thursday, 5pm on a Friday, and today, Monday, at 4pm. All 3 occasions, I asked the person walking the front registers for help. All 3 times being told it was completely closed. On the Friday at 5pm occasion, I was told the manager was at lunch. Today, I was told they were short staffed. The lady also shrugged her shoulders and told me it was open yesterday and I should have come then. Let's talk about both of these responses. First, why is the only store manager working during 5pm on a Friday allowed to take a lunch at a high volume time of day? Second, why is the store front supervisor allowed to give that type of response? Then it dawns on me that these are both a direct reflection of the leadership of the general manager. If this is how inefficient the store operates without a GM present, this is how operations will run in the GM's absence. The GM obviously does not care about the customers visiting and wanting to spend money. Otherwise, the customer service desk being closed would be a once or twice per year instance. Also, if being short-staffed is the issue, and has been the case for 6 months to a year, this is also a GM problem. There is another super Walmart about 3 miles away. This is where I have to go when I cannot be helped at this location. The super Walmart up the street has AMPLE staff always on. I also see that GM on the floor and present speaking with his staff on about 85% of my visits. Again, direct reflection of this location's GM. This review is in the hopes it lands in the email of RM, DM, or AD for this location. Obviously they are unaware of the ineffectiveness of the store, and it needs to be brought to light.

I don't get my drugs here because I need a 24 hour pharmacy, but I do get all my vaccinations here. I have been very happy with the service.

*EDIT: I'm delighted to say that the service provided by the folks at the pharmacy to us has improved significantly. It is an extraordinarily rare occurrence that something goes awry. They all buckled down, learned the system and are diligent in ensuring the RFID labels are properly attached. We transferred our scripts from a nearby competitor to this pharmacy for only one reason: Walmart corporate teamed with Envision America to provide RFID labels for the blind and VI. The labels are read by a machine so the visually impaired know their prescription specifics.Step one was getting the machine setup and the personnel trained. Envision-America called and left a message for P** the manager, asking them to return the call so they could schedule a date and time, at P**s’s convenience. I would periodically stop by and ask P** if they’d returned EA’s calls. Pulling teeth with silicone needle nose pliers would have been easier. Promises made, promises broken. Time after time. If this program wasn’t corporate directed, there is NO WAY manager P** would allow it. It’s...it’s just too complicated. If only they would have said something like “BILL KIEFER WE DO NOT LIKE THIS NEW FANGLED CONTRAPTION AND WE DON’T LIKE BLIND PEOPLE! THEY MAKE OUR LIVES TOO, TOO HARD! WHAT HAVE WE EVER DONE TO DESERVE BRUTAL AND ETERNAL PUNISHMENT!?” I’m an understanding guy. They would continually, continually “forget” the labels. Did I mention they would continually “forget” the labels? Continually? So, we implemented WMP PLAN I: “Health Care Officials (HCO), when submitting required medicinal information to WMP, will document the following on said submissions: ‘DON’T FORGET THE BLOODY RFID LABELS!’”That wasn’t enough. I was patient with them to a fault, allowing them to vent their frustration and play their little game for well over a year. That’s quite a learning curve.“OMG! MY EYES ARE ROLLING! IT’S THAT PAIN IN THE A$$ KIEFER GUY AGAIN! MAKE SURE YOU DON’T PUT THOSE STINKIN’ STICKY THINGIES ON HIS STINKIIN’ BOTTLES!”WMP PLAN I RESULT: FAIL.We then Implemented WMP Plan II: “Upon official notification from supplier of medicinal availability, recipient will respond via telecomm device, issuing the following statement: ‘HEY! REMEMBER US? WE’RE THE ONLY BLIND CUSTOMER YOU HAVE. DID YOU PUT THE STICKIE THINGIES ON THE BOTTLES?’”Ah! Problem solved.Erm...No. Problem improved, but even after being told that the RFID labels were indeed on the bottles, sometimes their answer was actually an *ahem* inaccuracy.WMP PLAN II RESULT: SATISFACTORY: IMPROVEMENT REQUIRED.I’m well aware of how overwhelming and taxing it is do something for a single customer, but I am, and will remain, unapologetic. One day I asked “HEY! I JUST HAD A EUREKA MOMENT! MAYBE YOU CAN PUT A LITTLE RED FLAG DOODAD BY MY NAME ON YOUR COMPUTER TO REMIND YOU OF THE STICKY THINGIES, YEAH?”No.I reached out to Envision-America again. They - and by the way, they are a fine organization - contacted the pharmacy and asked if they’d like retraining. WMP declined.About that same time, I’d asked an assistant - P** wasn’t available that day - if I could have the phone number to P**’s supervisor. Their eyes became as large as Moon Pies and they quietly asked me if something was wrong. “OF COURSE NOT. I JUST WANTED THEM TO KNOW WHAT A GREAT TEAM THEY’D ASSEMBLED AND INVITE THEM AND THE ENTIRE PHARMACY TEAM OUT TO THE STOCKYARDS FOR A SARSAPARILLA. MY TREAT!”I don’t understand why they declined my offer. After all, the Park Vista WMP is open 7 1/2 hours a day. It’s not like they don’t have plenty of time.Bill Kiefer

4 1/2 is what I would really like to give. They’re actually pretty good here. Everyone is friendly and helpful. The only reason they lose half a star is because I actually just called asking what type of Covid testing they do because my job looks for a specific one and they weren’t familiar with the name that I was giving. They know the testing by one name when it’s actually known by two different names. Thankfully I knew the testing by the name they knew it by which is great. Just think maybe they should educate themselves a little bit more when it comes to the names so that when people are asking they know how to respond to it. Overall though this pharmacy is actually good. As stated The staff is always friendly and helpful.

One of the worst pharmacy ever....30 minutes or less is good.. if it's over an hour wait, you need to hire another pharmacist...an hour and 15 minutes is unacceptable... especially if one is sick and hurting.

Do NOT do online pickup at this store they will not tell you if items are substituted and I had items missing? What are they doing stealing! First time to do online pickup at this store and should have known better. Not sure who runs that store but they are probably just as unprofessional as the employees
