Not enough cashiers and the self check out system they have treats everyone like a thief. If you lean over to adjust your bags it locks you out of the check out and then you have to wait until someone at the understaffed store lets you continue again. Will not be returning.

I went in for sandwich ingredients. The selection was great and the service was top notch. I was trying to be quick and the employees showed me where everything was. It only took me a minute to get through self-service check out. It's one of the best stores in Fort Worth!

Chris Blackwell in the curbside department is wonderful at customer service. The Hulen Tom Thumb caused an issue with my order resulting in me having to travel to them to pickup rather than the Camp Bowie location where I placed my order.
Chris called me fully ready to handle the issue without putting me out. He did not lay blame on the other location (even though it was their mistake).
I was almost to Camp Bowie when I called him back and asked him if he could just quickly pull the order for me and he explained he could, but Camp Bowie had less stock than Hulen. I wanted all the items I ordered so I drove to Hulen.
Chris helped me the whole way and tried his best to prevent me from traveling farther. He communicated clearly, honestly, and with sympathy to my situation.
My advice to other curbside customers is to program the store phone number in your phone and answer when they call. I wouldn’t have had to travel farther if I had picked up when Chris called me the first time.

Last few times we've gone the butcher counter is deserted. Wait for a minute and just when you think one of those dudes in the coats is gonna help he decides to just do inventory instead. Getting stuff from the counter is cheaper than the prepackaged, guess they're trying to force shoppers to spend more by being annoying, or they're just lazy.

I was there last week and I was treated disrespectfully when the manager told me she could help me at her register not knowing the reason she said this was because she saw that I had clearance items in my buggy and when I asked the self checkout cashier for help ,the manager came over and said a smart remark "I thought you didn't need help"then my cantaloupe didn't ring up what the sale price said and it was because I hadn't put my phone number in and once again she was rude about that.She has no clue how to speak to the customers and i dont have to shop there .I will never shop at this tom thumb because of this rude manager.I can just go to the tom thumb on hulen where the employees are kind and want to work .

Horrible place to work if u have a tan... Store Manager is privileged so don't think ur going to get justice if a privilege customer r employee lies on u... And they got ants on the counter tops wur they make food 4 the deli... And they won't fix the plumbing so the sewage smell comes out the drain pipe in the deli... Maybe a privileged person could tell Robin 2 put in a work order so the store doesn't stink but she might b use 2 it by now...

I encountered a horrible experience today in floral department.
I recently lost a dear family member so I call before I left home very early to make arrangements for a yellow corsage for my mother funeral.Being that it's mother's day I shouldnt have a problem getting a yellow rose made. I was told over phone that there was on one white corsage with greenery. I had to settle because lady wasn't accommodating. I drive there in rain and,there I see tons of yellow rose. I approach counter, there is a lady name Santa who totally ignores me.I inform her that I called earlier (20 min ago) she toss the corsage on counter rudely and tells me I owe 36.00 and some change for two tiny rose in a clear container. I ask her to cancel order not charge because a bit pricey for the appearance of the 2 white roses.
This lady Santa rolled her eyes and jerks the container back and tell me absolutely nothing. I explain befiefly that her acton and behavior was unexceptable. Santa just ignored me like I wasn't standing there.
I ask Santa to speak with management. I spoke with Maria and she informed he that she would discuss problem with Santa.The moral to the story is this should be one of the most considerate dept in facility. People shop for special occasion and sad occasion. Have a heart Santa. Accommodate folks even if your having a bad day.Your action Santa reflects Tom Thumb
My experience unexceptable and remember it not what you say, it'd how you say it.
It is not what you do it how you do it.
Perhaps you can consider changing jobs if your not happy.
I purchase yellow roses and made my own corsage in memory of my mom.
If general manager Robin can reach out to me.Very important no one experience this kind of treatment.

Have been shopping here for years. Generally this is a great store. But lately the deli department is severely lacking. I waited 15 minutes for a small order recently and I was the only person there. This section of the store is regularly disappointing and needs to be addressed.
