I self checked out at the Tom Thumb on Hulen in Fort Worth and I would like to commend a very patient and kind young woman employee named Victoria. 3 other customers were calling for her help and she handled all of us efficiently. She helped me with clipping a coupon on the app that wasn’t working and verifying a sale item. She was so calm and pleasant through the whole ordeal especially when she realized I was clipping my coupon to my Kroger app!!! ??♀️ Victoria, thank you for the respect, dignity and kindness that you showed towards me. Tom Thumb is fortunate to have such a valuable employee as you.

Pharmacy tech very rude. Informed me my prescription wasn’t ready. When I told her I had received a text that it was ready, she said no you didn’t, it should’ve said we just received it. I received the text it was ready for pick up at 6 pm the day before this. So she was not only rude, she was lying. It was 9:15, she stated it wouldn’t be ready until 10. There was no one else waiting. I’ve had other staff kindly fill a prescription and have it ready in about 10 minutes. I will be taking this up the chain of management.

It's a shame I can't do 0 zero stars.
Don't waste your time with this store. Got a checker that spends more in your business and a manager that I spoke to 3 times about the problem. All he did was make excuses, but he gets so many compliments, SMDH. Prices TOO high and treat you like a piece of meat. I was was speaking to Mgr and she still interrupted us. What a joke!

My daughter was told she could get a substitute 4 the free Gatorade water. 2 managers or department heads said so. The foreign lady working at checkout would not listen, neither would the ppl in customer service. She was in a hurry. She didn't have them call a manager. She reported the incident 2 the toll free number, immediately. Few minutes later, Jennifer the store director said she didn't know y they would not make the switch! I know my daughter didn't appreciate having 2 drive all the way down hulen street from Crowley just 2 get a bottle of water she was promised when she was there! Plus, she didn't get her sale gallon of milk! She returned 2 items that rang up wrong. She told the lady at customer service she was supposed 2 get the free water, but she said nothing, smh. We r giving this review 3 stars due 2 Jennifer's quick reply. Businesses that mess with our family tend 2 find themselves in trouble. Something 2 think about.

I have never had a problem until just recently when one of my items didnt scan the right way .I went to customer service and told the hispanic lady that works during the week /day shift and she accused me of lieng .She asked me if I was lieng .Then I had another incident with that same lady talking about me behind my back because I didnt see a sign saying
there was a certain limit of items to go thru self checkout.Instead of informing me and telling me politely she pointed to me while talking to her co-worker and told her I had too many items to be in self checkout.She never smiles or makes you feel welcomed .I went in there yesterday to get a few groceries and to cash my lottery and I was the only one in line at customer service and she was talking with her co-workers while I waited for her to finish her conversation .

Don't ever get a money order from Tom Thumb. I tried to get one at this location, was told I had """insufficient funds""", but their system still took the money out of my account and there was """nothing they could do"""

I went into the Tom Thumb on Hulen in Fort Worth - I ordered a cake for the next day. I was able to order what I wanted on the cake, which were rosebuds with leaves- I came the next day to pick it up and it was just beautiful. Brooke who decorated my cake made the prettiest roses with beautiful leaves and the writing on the cake was so delicate and sweet - everyone commented on how pretty the cake was and how beautiful it was decorated…….but the really nice part was how delicious the cake was…….the icing was so soft and fluffy as if it were made of cream! We were on our third birthday in a month and all cakes came from different bakeries and this cake was by far the best in all areas -
beautifully decorated , the taste was fresh and delicious and the price out beat them all so thank you Tom Thumb Hulen for offering prices we can still afford and of course thank you Brooke for a beautiful cake you are very talented in your cake decorating skills! I look forward to our next cake coming from you……

Refused a refund that was within guidelines and with receipt. Called customer service to speak with the regional manager. Waiting to hear back.
