To the store or district manager, I would like to express my sincere gratitude and appreciation for the incredible service your associate JAELYN provided for my family assisting and guiding us in a wide selection of my son’s attire,her cheerful smile,personality, her knowledge about the business, really caught my attention that I extended her my business card as a job opportunity. Don’t get me wrong, I like their clothes for my children but do not like the customer service at the Tanger Outlet location. Three young lady employees working, no one acknowledges customers walking in the store or out of the store, customers rampaging looking for products with no assistance from employees. They looked me right in the face, all three of them and not a one of them spoke. One was cashing out/exchanging/refunding a customer. She never said anything. Another was walking around with 1 hanger of clothing looking clueless like she didn’t want to be at work. The other was trying to leave for the day but the one helping the customer at the Register was begging her to stay at work longer. I patiently waited by the register for someone to greet me, none the less assist me. They all kept looking at me clueless. Then the one with the hanger decided she would ask the one assisting the customer with a purchase “what was I there for!?” She said I don’t know and shrugged her shoulders. The girl then asked me if I had a pick up order. She seems like she did not want to be there either, but they all kept having a conversation amongst themselves like customers weren’t present! Shame!!! Hire employees whom have pride in their work, glad to be at work and who can display and provide great customer service and not so busy with personal conversations and non work related concerns.

BE AWARE OF MARK UPS AND UP CHARGE ON RECEIPTPRICES DO NOT REFLECT ACTUAL SALES/ DISC ARE NOT TRUE AND PRICES ARENT UP TO DATE (per manager)I walked out realizing I paid $60 for 3 jeans when the jeans were $19.95 with 50% off.. should've rang up $9.98 each.... I still dont know how I paid $48 in the end???!! but the manager was not trying to listen to the young lady who expressed concern with their store/system.Managers attitude could've been better but she was annoyed and never apologized for numerous errors and said "our store prices went up, somebody forgot to change all the tags and it is not 50% it says 40%"..... UMMM ok that is not my problem your computer, tags, worker, & discount sign ALL are wrong. Do a better job. The only person nice was the blonde young lady. The other dark haired lady and manager need training from the person who helped me

Would provide zero stars if I could. There were two employees working and no other customers in the store. Both employees were too busy texting on their phones to acknowledge me entering te store or see if I needed any assistance.

Be cautious when clearance shopping here. The signs posted are 60% off the “already” markdown price. I looked at the original pricing on several pieces and they were only markdown one cent. This is the first time I have ever seen a place put items on clearance with a one cent discount.

I’ve been shopping in differents kids store but never encountered this experience before. I understand that employees don’t make the rules but enforce them but I never been so disrespected in my life. All I was trying to do is exchange (not return or request a store credit) a pair of shoes that I purchase 3 days before and pay the price difference. Just because I didn’t have the receipt with me the girl not even did anything to help but was so arrogant and disrespectful. She was unable to find the receipt even after I provide the card that I used and the transaction date. All she was doing was running a mouth even after I told her that I didn’t want to talk to her anymore because of her level of disrespect and her lack of knowledge. Her response was that being the store manager give her every right to talk as long as I am talking to the other associate who was trying her best. That’s not a store that I will be shopping most definitely

Terrible return policy! I’ve been in retail management for several years and am a frequent customer to many children’s stores (buy buy baby, carters, OshKosh, etc.) and I’ve never heard of such a ridiculous return policy in my life. My son was gifted 2 pair of pants that I wanted to exchange for something different. They were never worn and they had the tags on them. All I wanted to do was exchange them for store credit towards something else. The Children’s Place return policy is that they will not except ANY returns without an original receipt. I understand not being able to give your money back without a receipt but the fact that they won’t even give store credit is ridiculous. I will not shop here - EVER. I will continue to shop at the several other children’s stores that have policies that cater to their customers. The employees also had very dry personalities. I understand that the employees don’t make the policies, they just enforce them - but the policies and customer service both deserve 1 star.
