The doctors are always professional, helpful, and compassionate. The front desk folks are friendly and efficient. We've only been customers almost a year. We were with our previous vet over 20 years and I expect to be with Summerfields even longer!

If I could write less than a one star review I would. This place is awful. They don’t call or respond. You can’t get them to send medical records. The things I have seen here and the lack of care is a no for me. They are super expensive and have no empathy for your pets. They are there to make money and that is it. Go somewhere else.

Dr. Hammer is the absolute best. There is not a vet I have ever met more caring and knowledgeable. He really takes the time to answer any questions and make each of my pets feel as comfortable as possible. Receptionists are all very sweet and great at what they do.

Dr Metzler is amazing! She takes her time no matter how busy it is and really getti know you and your pet. We ha e a puppy, 10 months, and an old boy, 15 years, and she treats them both like they are her only patients. The staff there is amazing and helpful. Even when it crazy busy they are always so kind and helpful!

I’ve never given a business a bad review before… I’ve been with CF Rescue for 10 yrs. I’ve taken my foster dogs to (CFR) approved Vets all over Mid Cities area. Never been treated as rudely & unprofessionally as I was today. A simple puppy check up was made very time consuming, difficult & frustrating. The puppy & I were obviously inconveniencing Rachel by us just being there. Felt like I was at the DMV, not a caring Vet clinic.

While staff was so nice, polite and caring the person that brought my baby was not as caring. Picking up my little girl after being spayed. When the young lady brought her to me she was dragging her with the leash. I had to ask her to not drag her after she just had surgery. She didn't say anything, she let the leash go and walked away like she really didn't care.

So I own ferrets, and finding veterinarians that are knowledgeable with these little guys can be difficult to come by. I wish I knew the vet's name, but they have administered an adrenal chip in one of my ferrets twice now and we always have a phenomenal experience. Like I said, the staff is just so well versed in their knowledge and really seem to care about every little patient that comes in. I've taken my ferrets to other vets that are close by, but I go 40 minutes out of my way to go to Summerfields because they just know what they're doing, even with exotics. Could not recommend them enough!

2 weeks ago, I woke up to my Guinea Pig Nanami paralyzed??? he couldn’t move his back legs and he was dragging them around ? Summerfields animal hospital was the only place I called that gave me an appointment for the same day. After the appointment and x-ray my boy has been taking his medication and TODAY HE STARTED WALKING AGAIN AS HE USED TO!!! ??? thank you so much!!! I’ll be bringing my others piggies as well!!!

Great place to board your family pets. Recently went on vacation and left Max and Maggie at Summerfields. I knew they were taken care of and did not have to worry about them while I was gone. Prices are very reasonable!
