If you're an existing customer and buying a new phone at a store by paying in full, then anyone asking you to enter your social is a red flag. Just window shop and call spectrum at 611. If you're planning to finance a phone by paying installments topped off on your service bill, then proceed to apply for financing. Most importantly, never blindly give your social before they tell you why they ask. I was turned away and refused service because I refused to allow a credit check in order to purchase a phone that I wasn't financing. Imagine that.

There internet was slow and when I had spectrum business we purchased a phone and we couldn’t returned it because we opened the package but we can’t test it out with out opening the package. I do not recommend

If you want GREAT customer service go to the Spectrum store in Fort Worth by LaGrande Plaza and ask for Jose Garcia. He was attentive, funny, gave quick service oh and did I mention he convinced my hubby & I to switch our mobile svc to Spectrum by telling us how much money we’d save. Best customer service hands down.
