As much as love a LGS, I didn't appreciate how much of a mess this store is. The bulk of space is used for gaming tables and that's fine, but shelves get shoved up against each other, so even if you tried looking you can't see what's on them. Shelves are broken and being held up by the board games underneath. Product is just stacked on the floor.

The store is fine. However, I'm very unhappy with how they handle their card tournaments. Specifically, how they have setup the selection of players in Lorcana tournaments. They seem to have structured it so that all their (I'm guessing friends) can have guaranteed spot to play in their league and maybe win packs, and anyone else who shows up to want to play is just lucky if they get picked in the lottery to play. Because who cares about those new customers right?

I like this place a lot. I feel like I have spent a lot of money here in the last year and the prices on Pokémon have gone from great to decent. I've had some instances where there is limits on how much I can get to be fair to customers which I respect. However, I have amassed quite a few points over the year and I've bought boxes without asking the price first. I've got some examples where a friend of mine bought a box, two days later I buy the same product and use my $25 off credits and ended up paying the same price. That one hits me in my feels a bit to see the 1k credits disappear and pay the same he did two days before. That said...got monster hits, and I usually get very good stuff from the store. Additionally, the employees are very down to earth and friendly (Conor and Jorge are fantastic). Very fun spot to hang out.Edit: 5 stars, I went to the store and price difference was sorted out. Wish I could give 6 stars now. Thank you for the service you provide to the community.

I just bought a Brilliant Stars Booster Box and I had the best pulls ever in my 18 years of collecting Pokemon. I pulled the Rainbow Charizard VMax that's going for 87.99$ on Troll and Toad and a Graded Mint 10 (which is the one I have here that I pulled) its worth 150$ and a graded 9 is worth 120$ or 115$ something like that ???? Thanks Sci Fi Factory! I will recommend all my family and friends to your location.

Good store with friendly staff. I'm a miniature games players so can't really speak for the card games, but they generally stay well stocked on games. They'll order anything you need that isn't on the shelf. They've done a lot to clean up the front gaming area and it looks really good now. There's plenty of gaming events on schedule and plenty of friendly gamers you'll meet here as well.

This store is consistently decent. Though it isn't my home game store, every event we have been to has been good. The late night events are the best. I would definitely. The place is well stocked, staff are friendly. Also the events start on time.

Don’t listen to the carpet bomber. Complete l***** it sounds like. These folks who run the lake worth store are awesome, have been going for almost 8-9 years. And even after not going by there on a regular basis anymore, sometimes for almost a year, they remember me and greet me with warm welcomed, and are always there to help. I haven’t gotten to go by this store but two times, and have gotten the same treatment.

Let me start this by saying that no store is perfect, but this one certainly comes close. I used to live much closer, and now live closer to several other stores, but if I need something.. I make the drive. The staff is always friendly and helpful, and they have a huge selection of everything trading card and hobby related. I have to be careful stepping into the store, because I always end up leaving with something.

I've been in to SciFi Factory several times and the staff there is always welcoming and knowledgeable. We were looking for a specific game one evening. We couldn't remember what it was called and one guy spent a good 15-20 minutes with us trying to try and figure it out. We finally remembered through process of elimination. Ultimately they didn't have it, but we thanked the guy profusely. He said it was no trouble and that he was just glad he could help us remember what we were looking for.

Nice selection. The online system is horrible though. And not sure what it is with comic shop workers, but they sure act entitled and are not very friendly. You work at a card shop. Calm down. Doesn't make people want to come back. Could be a great store.

Good selection of miscellaneous things. Staff is pretty lazy and annoying. Not worth buying over priced stuff for mediocre service.

Rarely go here. But when I do no problem. Usually a super virgin employee that looks down on you when you ask about things you don't know but that's just how it goes. Great selection in store. Update...last visit all employees were awesome lol

Decent sized store, lots of products which was a plus! This is my 3rd time coming back. I live out of state and have spent probably over $500 at this location already.Low rating honestly just comes because of the staff. Walked in and there were 6 guys behind the counter, all of which looked at me and didn’t say a single word.Later, made my way around to the front to look at some of the cards in the case. Asked for help from the person behind the case who was talking to a friend and he acted like we were inconveniencing him that we asked for help. When he came over to help, I asked him if we could check prices on some of the cards that had no price tags on them. He said I can go look at the computer. I told him that there was a tournament bracket software up on the screen and I didn’t want to cause any problems. He sighed and pointed out that I could scan the QR code for the website, which I did.Half of the cards I was interested in were not on the website so I let him know that and he said, “they are probably already sold then” like I should have already known that as a customer.Every time I asked him for a card I wanted he just got dead silent like he was annoyed that I wanted to buy more cards. The only time he was friendly to me was at the end when he was done ringing me up because he didn’t have to do anything anymore.I am a huge shopper for cards. I have spent thousands of dollars over my years of playing and collecting. Literally the only reason why I overpay at a card shop for cards is to support a business that I love. The experience I had is definitely not worth overpaying for. Next time I’ll pay $4 a pack at Walmart or Target.

Would seriously caution parents before leaving kids here anymore, it’s changed.Used to be amazing, and used to spent $100s a week here. When Seth left, it went downhill fast. Will never shop here again. Store is never clean (filthy), bathroom is disgusting and/or usually closed, store manager is the worst. Every visit is worse than the previous now. Disrespectful attitudes, a toxic environment, and horrible service.Try the gaming vault, Nerdhalla, generation x games, crimson lion, or literally any other gaming store.~~~Post reply response:Cleary the owner has no clue who I am. I have never received a 50% discount, didn't mention any discount in my review, and would never expect such from any business. I have also never played 40k, owned anything from 40k, or tried to sell anything from 40k, so that's a huge swing and a miss. I feel sorry for whoever is banned now without even knowing it.The owners response only highlights the points that I have shared in my review. The toxic, aggressive, and highly disrespectful response is indicative of the environment to which you will experience at this store.
