Lots of regulars here to chill. Wednesdays nights are usually when people convene.

Should hire employees that actually want to be there. Dude seemed put out that we were actually making him work by just asking him questions, instead of being able to just sit on his phone behind the counter not acknowledging anybody.Edit to respond: we were just in there about an hour ago today. The guy just seemed very short with us, and completely bothered with having to do anything.

This store leaves so much to be desired. They are well stocked on retail items very lacking in singles (there were 5-7 cards in the case) which is fine overall but the customer service is atrocious. We entered the store with zero acknowledgement and spend a solid 5 minutes looking at the display case while the cashier was on his phone complaining about having to be at work - finally another employee who was less than 2 feet from us behind the counter on his phone as well told the other guy to come help us… we asked for pricing of a card that was in the case labeled as damaged - we were told it was $80 which would be pricing for NM - the card was unsleeved in a top loader that was scratched to hell, so I tried to remove it from the top loader so I could see the actual condition of the card and the employee yelled at me. Actually yelled. And said customers weren’t allowed to touch the cards outside of the top loader. How can I assess a card in a scratched top loader without touching it? The guy then told me that it was probably priced wrong in the system and he would sell it for $8. We asked about the TWM ETB’s on the shelf and were told he would sell us whatever we wanted without a preorder that they didn’t really care. We ended up getting a TWM ETB, a TWM B&B box, & the single. The employees here are awful and are definitely jeopardizing the shop by making it cringy obvious they don’t care about it and don’t want to be there - for sure made us not want to be there either. We go all over DFW to hundreds of shops a month and really build relationships with the people there I’m really sad to say this is one we won’t ever go back to.

I've been to this store about 5 or 6 times now hoping to enjoy it since it's conveniently close to me. However, each visit has been disappointing due to the poor customer service. Despite entering multiple times to purchase Warhammer models, I've never received a warm greeting or any offer for assistance. The employees seem disinterested, often glued to their phones or huddled behind the counter. I honestly wouldnt be surprised if theft isnt a problem here. During my previous visit, when I asked about a Tyranid model, one of the employees responded with "why would you even buy that". Today, when I visited with my 4 year old son, we were met with the same lack of engagement. After waiting for the cashier to finish a text message, we received no acknowledgment or courtesy. The only thing out of the guys mought was the total amount due. As a small business owner myself, I find this level of disregard for customers mind blowing. While I'm willing to support local businesses by paying GW prices for Warhammer models, the poor service makes me question whether it's worth it. If the employees are going to be rude and unhelpful, I might as well shop online, where at least I can expect better prices and convenience.

Haven't been yet. Just love reading the owners replies to the low ratings. I also love that you use tcg to price your cards. I'll probably be in later today with my binder of original pokemon cards.Post visit. Was told I had some really good cards but they couldn't buy them because they had no cash. Told to come back next week.I hope the owner sees this so they can shed some light on when I should come on.

You’d think open signs and unlocked doors mean a business is open. You’d be wrong. Nice to know I am not welcome here….Edit to respond: First, when the OPEN sign is lit, and the OPEN sign on the door is flipped to open, and the door is unlocked- I don’t usually check Google Maps for the business’s hours.Second, if someone spoke up as soon as I walked in, that would be different. I had been browsing for 2-3 min before I was told the store had closed for the night.Third, saying “Sorry, we’re closed” and acknowledging that the store shows signs of being open would have avoided the “you don’t belong here” attitude I received. All of this combined is why I posted this review (with the included photo)

My experience at this location was wonderful. I am getting back into Yu-gi-oh and went here to ask advice on new rules, layouts, and to scope out some possible deck builds. I was greeted by a bearded gentlemen ( I am terrible with names) who helped me extensively. Not only did he give me a great amount of his time but he also kicked off my newest deck build. I truly feel he gave me a warm welcome back into the Yu-gi-oh community and has made me feel excited to begin playing again. I now feel an attachment to this store that will have me returning and prioritizing this store for casual games, tournaments, and any other card game needs. Thank you all for being so amazing!

Walked in wondering if the place was part of some apocalypse test site. No greeting, are there employees? One was watching videos on his phone or computer at the front & the other after 3min appeared and asked if i was good. The place is in shambles, the shelves disheveled, how am i suppose to find anything? If the employees are paid in peanuts then I say find new ones, and if your paying them then is standing around and doing nothing to clean up part of thier duties?

This place was an absolute disaster.First of all, the store is not well organized and generally unkempt. The staff were very unhelpful as a majority of the time, they were sitting behind the counter on their phones or chatting amongst themselves. If you are searching for trading cards, specifically Pokémon STAY AWAY! They force you to make an account and order online even when buying at the location. This is confusing and defeats the purpose of coming to a location. On top of that, the website had no information about the cards condition, and when I purchased them, I did not even receive the card that was pictured.Horrible experience. Would not come here again.(Edit)I'm not sure how to reply on this app, so this is my way of doing it.Sci Fi Factory. Sci Fi Factory. Sci Fi Factory.First off, thank you for the helpful response ☺️. Second, when I asked about purchasing cards, I was told to scan a QR code and purchase them through there. There was no kiosk to browse cards. The site would not let me check out without providing email, username, address, credit card info, SSN, blood type, mothers maiden name, etc.And yes, pictures were provided, that is correct. pictures of the wrong card. It did not say whether it was a first edition or unlimited, and the image showed first edition, so that's what I assumed it was.And if you recall, I was told that the cards would be provided once I showed proof of purchase, and while I was handed the cards, once again, this wasn't until after I purchased the cards.Sure, I should have checked them once I bought them. But I foolishly put my trust into a business with "thousands of customers. "I truly will miss your rancid, BO ridden shop that has probably not been cleaned in months. I don't know how I'll ever buy half crumpled Lapras cards without you.

Walked in on Saturday 2/10/24, the two employees behind the counter hiding and vaping. The whole place smelled terrible, I did not stay long that I had to with my toddler, this place is not family friendly.
