This store has always been slightly crappy but you can usually find something to buy. However, something has changed with this particlar store and not for the better. Either mgmt is extremely paranoid, or they've experienced a ton of theft lately, but the vibes here are just wrong. Everyone has to have their receipt checked on the way out. I had a empty plastic bag and receipt in my hand from doing a return and the security guard almost broke her neck trying to check that it was indeed empty. Get a grip, is Ross not Costco. The stars are for the cashiers, who were friendly. I won't be back.

It was very nice to be greeted when you walked into Ross . It kind of felt like home. And ask if there was anything they could help you with. That is something you don't see every day. I had the best time there looking around and shopping.

Last evening (03/17), my wife had an unfortunate experience at the Ross store located at 2341 Porter Street in Ft. Worth, which I feel compelled to share. She purchased a large picture frame but, upon reaching her car, realized it was too big to fit. Understandably, she returned to the store entrance, which had just locked its doors, to ask if she could leave the frame inside and pick it up the next day with a larger vehicle.
Despite her efforts to get the attention of the staff, who visibly looked at her through the doors, her requests were blatantly ignored; they simply looked at her and walked away. Instead of providing a helping hand, the night manager instructed the employees, as they were leaving for their cars, to avoid eye contact and then left the premises. This left my wife outside, puzzled and upset, after trying to get their attention from outside for 30 minutes.
On a positive note, an employee from a nearby Target witnessed the situation and offered to store the frame overnight. This act of kindness and customer service excellence starkly contrasted with our experience at Ross, highlighting the importance of empathy and support in retail.
We understand that policies and procedures exist for reasons, including those related to store closing times. However, exceptional circumstances call for flexibility and human compassion, qualities that were unfortunately missing from our experience with Ross. This incident has significantly impacted our perception of the brand and its values, urging us to reconsider future patronage.
We hope this feedback encourages Ross to reevaluate its customer service practices and fosters a more supportive and understanding environment for its patrons. It also serves as a call to evaluate the quality and empathy of the employees hired to manage this location.

NEVER GOING BACK TO THIS STORE. They watched me walk inside with a TJ MAXX cart that found in the parking lot because I had my baby’s car seat in it and get stopped while I’m shopping saying that I have to switch it out , I think that is absolutely ridiculous, the black lady was just plain rude and had the ugliest look on her face, wasn’t professional at all

Emptier than usual. Walked out after finding nothing in my size. Spring line of dresses had nothing that met any previous spring choices.
