We had an amazing vintage themed Valentine's Elopement here! It was magical and I would 100% book an event here in the future, staff is great, everything was wonderful :)

I don’t recommend to anyone lgbtq+ or if any of your guests are lgbtq+. Not a safe place for people of the lgbtq+ community and their allies in 2023.

We had our rehearsal dinner at Roots and it was so perfect! It was exactly what we wanted, intimate dinner space and great area for cocktail hour before and after!! Working with Ambra and team was great and we had such a great experience!

Gorgeous venue. Love the staff. Looking at this location for my daughter's wedding. Don't be fooled by the negative reviews. People are just upset that this venue puts their foot down when it comes to leftist. There are plenty of venues in Texas to choose from.

I don't recommend this event space for people that are lgbtq+ or for anyone that has lgbtq+ friends or family. It's not very professional to use religion to treat other humans differently based on their sexual orientation. #YallMeansALL

It's a beautiful facility. Unfortunately, the a c is not as good as it could be. It never got below seventy two degrees in the building.

This market practices discrimination against the LBGTQ+ community. Further, they refuse to comment on their discriminatory practices. Instead of wasting your time, here, support an inclusive market.

I was looking for an event space in the area and (thankfully) googled them beforehand, finding several bad reviews and other negative comments about how they operate their business. I'm really glad I saw this before giving them any money. This event space discriminates against LGBTQ+ people, prohibiting same-sex marriage on their premises, due to the "values" that they hold dear. The worst part is, instead of being forthright about their hate, they hide behind a thin veil of charm, wishing those well that they've turned away because of their bigotry. What's next? "Whites only"?

Thank you to all the staff at Roots first and foremost, the most accommodating, attentive and thoughtful group of young ladies I've had the chance to work with. They worked their butts ofd and it came together SO BEAUTIFULLY. We gave Ambra the full reins to organize, manage, and orchestrate and it could not have gone better. Her eye for colors, material and tasteful touches was exquisite. Thank you all for the help, we couldn't have done it without y'all.

Date Night: Cocktail Making Class - what a great night! It was a cozy, comfortable and enjoyable atmosphere. We double dated and had such a fun time learning to make new cocktails. The house bartender did a spectacular job teaching and entertaining us. We highly recommend for a date night! (We suggest dinner a couple doors down at a great Mexican restaurant before the event)

What a cute coffee shop! The ladies were kind and helpful. Downside is the parking situation. Their guava/strawberry pop tart was very good and not too sweet. I enjoyed the environment.

For anyone considering using this venue for your event, please fully read the FAQ closely. This business is anti LGBTQ and does not support Love for everyone. I'm so glad I found this out before I booked my event. I would never support a wedding business that would aim to exclude and alienate my friends and family in the name of bigotry. Do better Roots.
