I'm so ecstatic they came to our area at Presidio! I think I've been there about eight times already. I always used to get same thing, Chicago, dog or Italian beef. I have branched out to the chili, dog, cheeseburger, chopped salad, fish sandwich. I've been pleased with all. Can't wait to go again fast and courteous service.!

Good change of pace from your average fast food. Italian Beef and Hotdogs and Chocolate Cake are all great.

The ambience is nice. It has a great vibe. The food on the other hand, not so much. I was so excited to try their hotdog because I've had Portillo's in Chicago and they're amazing. Not so much at this Portillo's. The bun was completely soggy. The fries were stale and the cheese sauce reminded me of canned cheese. Super disappointed.

Finally stopped in, such a neat place. Really spacious, old fashioned feel. Kinda has that Coney Island feelin', to my eye. I since learned online it's based outta Chicago, and apparently came from that Dog House hut place in the nostalgic photos we've all seen before. Service was fun, Jackie's sweet, and she gave us paper hats! Legit! The doo-wop music is perfect, so refreshing to have somewhere to go and not hear tired country like everyone can't get enough. The food itself was really good. I've always been a flame broiled fan, an old Burger King kid. But they've been going so downhill and it's great to have another option to get that taste. The broiled chicken was very good. My only "tiny dislike" is there was a lot of sauce on both. It tasted fine, it just made it messy to handle. No biggie, I'll just ask next time and see if I can ask to go lighter on it. Anyway, it's all made fresh. The crinkle fries are nothing particularly unique but they were perfectly cooked and straight forward. Good stuff. I gotta repeat how nice the spaciousness is to be in. I like the wide warehousey feel, not cramped, filled with unnecessary walls, etc. They have a little shop to get neat extras, and apparently their chocolate cakes are something, maybe we'll grab one next time, and we will be back for sure. Thanks for coming to our area, Portillo's!

I was convinced to try out Portillo’s, I’m sure my sweet baby saw it on TikTok or something. It was exactly as expected, American food! ??We ordered the 4 pc Tender with Fries and the Chicago Style Dog, also with fries. Also ordered some “Portillos Sauce” and some cheese sauce. The Portillo’s sauce is like a Cane’s sauce with a spicy relish mixed in, not bad!The cheese sauce tastes like Rico’s, I’m pretty sure it’s Rico’s.$18 total, ate in the car.Overall, not a bad joint! ✌?

One of our very favorite places. Italian beef and sausage sandwich with peppers is amazing. Their burgers are charbroiled. You cannot go wrong with a chili dog or the iconic Chicago dog. The Portillos chopped salad is famous for a reason. It's perfect. Go here. Enjoy the atmosphere and get a chocolate cake shake, where they actually take a piece of their delicious chocolate cake and blend it into a chocolate milkshake. Gotta have it!

Food is good but service says otherwise... poor workers were working their butts off handling a long like and I saw "Jackie" scolding one of the workers, this is very unfair because I have worked in the service industry for 5 years and this is not how we encourage the employees, because the more unhappy they are the less the food will be great.

The food wasn't that great. It's just regular hotdogs and it doesn't even come with the fries.

Holy cow! I heard my husband’s excitement about Portillos opening sort of near his work. He has gone over a dozen times since opening, both with colleagues and alone. Yesterday, he took a coworker who has been and one who hasn’t. The girl behind the counter refused to have mayo put on his jumbo dogs. It is literally the jumbo dog, mayo and a bun. My husband is from Chicago. Portillos there never gives him problems. At this location it is hit or miss, mainly a “miss” when this particular girl who waits on him. She told him he could only add mayo with packets. My husband has arthritis in his hands and it is difficult to open small packets like that during a flare up. There was a guy who had not been there in addition to his 1 coworker who was in line with them. Before the stupid treatment he got from this misinformed employee, my husband raved to him about the food. Then, bad service, cold food, not being able to open the mayonnaise packet was just one stupid fail after the other. To boot, as the new patron was walking out the door, he told my husband it was not great. To which my husband replied “sorry man” basically for raving about this particular franchise and the food taste and quality that Portillos is known for. My husband’s coworker who had been wanting to try the food got a poor first impression as well. They talked to the manager who was offering food after they had already eaten. I think the biggest take away is 1. Is mayo being added to a hotdog a violation of corporate policy? If not, then do what the customer asks. 2. Train your staff better. If you have someone with a physical impairment worse than my husband’s are you going to respond with, we have packets for that?!

Portillo's is always a treat! Wonderful environment, incredible staff, and consistent food, EVERY SINGLE TIME! They are in a constant state of cleaning in the dining area and the restrooms are always clean! If you see the care with those details, it makes you even more confident in the back of the house!Parking: I don't know the number of slots. But, it's a large parking area.Wheelchair accessibility: Easy parking and Handicapped-accessible entrance

I ordered the Italian sausage/beef bowl and it was amazing. It's too messy/greasy to get the bread and eat in the truck. Haha the sandwich version is amazing
