When I opened my account, a week later there was fraudulent activity and my account was placed on hold. I recommend not using that bank.

This is a bank that doesn’t take cash, a bank with an employee who can’t do anything a banker does. Basically this is an atm with a nice lobby and a useless human.

PNC bank has replaced Compass Bank in Colleyville Texas. Customer service is very poor. The drive through teller takes their time getting to you, and when they do, they do a bad job. Been a customer of compass bank for a long time and they have given exceptional customer service. I'm not sure if these folks are trained but they focus on a computer and not communicating with customers. I sat outside the front of the bank waiting on a family member to handle some business, when out came a very upset customer who appeared to have had a bad time. I saw two suits laughing at the customer like he was a joke or something? Thats horrable! I'm not sure about this new bank, but I'm very disappointed in the horrable customer service they show to their new customers. I sincerely hope they work on their customer service or they may loose their customers. Not good!

Former BBVA customer. Tried to do an external bank transfer from PNC. PNC put a hold on the transfer pending confirmation of my identity. I’m now on hold for over an hour to try and release this transfer hold. BTW, 3rd time calling for same issue. RIDICULOUS.

My beef is not with this local branch, but with how PNC corporate has mishandled their acquisition of BBVA. Nothing will change? Everything has changed. For over a week we have been without access to our savings account. Our direct deposit hasn't gone through. I have called numerous departments of both banks, driven to PNC and twice to former BBVA branches, and personnel in both entities told me that there was nothing they could do. I was referred by PNC manager to online banking. I got a recording apologizing for heavier than normal call volume and saying I should call back later. I complained via their website and got a computer-generated response that didn't address my situation. Yesterday I knowingly mailed a check to the IRS that will bounce if direct deposits don't go through or I can't get access to our savings account. Did PNC hire the Cyber Ninjas to do this transition?

It says that this is a 24hr ATM which is incorrect, the ATM are 24hr plugged in thats it , the door is always locked rather its the middle of the day or early morning if you are going to have a 24hr ATM you should put it outside if your door is always locked

This bank is bottom of the barrell. Keep your money under your mattress instead of here. To endorse mortage/insurance checks you might want to prepair for hours wait and rude and unhelpful staff. They have a issue of doing whats right for the customer. I perfer BofA they are lightyears ahead in customer service.

They took out a car payment two weeks after loan was paid off. Then i am still waiting weeks now for my refund!!!! Do not use PNC. Also, once loan was paid off i could not view my loan acct online because they made it where i could not sign on. They took the money out of my checking for payoff but no acknowledgement it had been paid off. Still waiting on that refund PNC.

I do not like leaving negative reviews, but I feel I have no choice at this point. I am not a customer of PNC Bank, and had honestly never even heard of it - until I received a letter in the mail thanking me for opening 3 checking accounts and setting up online access. Someone had used my name, former address, and SSN to open these accounts. I called the 800 number and also chose to visit this local branch to see if I could get this straightened out. I assumed this type of fraud would be taken very seriously and the accounts would be closed immediately. How wrong I was. When I arrived at the branch, I was shuffled around between multiple employees - they led me into one office where the guy actually wouldn't even look up at me because he had "another customer coming in about 20 minutes." I finally was handed off to a younger employee who, while he was very nice, had to call another office to figure out how to handle it. They won't close the accounts even though I'm sitting right there with my driver's license and info, insisting I did not open them. They took my information and filed a security incident. Meanwhile these fraudulent accounts remain open while they "investigate" for up to 60 days to decide if it is fraud or not! Wouldn't give me any information on the accounts or even how to directly contact the fraud department or the investigator. Called the 800# again today to check the status of the investigation and got the same lackadaisical attitude - "Did they take your phone number? yeah then you just have to wait to hear from them. They should have called you by now." Super helpful and reassuring. I can't understand how identity theft and fraud within their bank seems to be relatively unimportant. I have filed a police report, frozen my credit, and filed an identity theft report, and I'm getting zero help from this bank. Very frustrating and disappointing experience.
