I usually do not write reviews; however, this one is warranted. Eric, the store manager, and his poorly trained staff were the least helpful in assisting with my battery test. As a woman, they sent an untrained employee who mentioned that she/he has never performed a battery test. Prior to that, said employee did not know where and/or what the machine looked like. The employee had to get assistance from another employee who was not the store manager. Therefore, they could not get the results from the test. The store employee mentioned bringing the battery to place on their machine as the test did not give results. Shortly thereafter, the battery needed a jumpstart. So, I then had to remove the battery myself because the staff "did not have the necessary tools." As a woman who has no knowledge of cars, I purchased a wrench and a 10mm socket and loosened four bolts myself and removed the battery. In reality, the employees who assisted me weren't trained on proper battery replacement protocol and/or battery testing procedures.
I do not blame the employees as it is the store manager's job to ensure all staff is properly trained. Eric was the least professional of his staff. He obviously seemed annoyed and rather rude. When I come into an Auto parts store as a woman, I would like to be given the same treatment as a man! Because I was a woman, they sent another non-trained employee to help me. That employee helped no one else in that store and only remained behind the register for the remainder of the day.
As a result of my already hectic day, I managed to locate another O'Reilly's in Forest Hill, TX 1.8 miles away. Jorge and his staff assisted me no questions asked!!! I said maybe 3 words and I had a new battery in minutes. The staff also helped remove the battery and replace it!!! As a suggestion, maybe the current store manager should sit with Jorge and ask for tips on how to better manage and train employees.

The one on 287 was great even tho they didn't replace my pigtail that got messed up after they gave me an alternator with a bad plug in. When I had the alternator warranteed which I shouldn't have had to do. The 287 Oreillys on ft Worth avenue made sure the replacement fit the pigtail plugin like the other one should have which would've save me time and headache, thanks Eric. Would've given 5 stars if they would've replace the pigtail that the alternator didn't work on.

I just went to the store, I was standing in line because they were going to help me because of a light that came on in my car and when it was my turn they told me to wait to help the others, it's a bad deal, standing in line for nothing, it's not the first time.

This store offering services that they not even perform.There is services they offer on their windows , you get in line and wait once is your turn I asked for a service they just answer well we don't have the Machine to Do it. it is a waste of time for customers and waste of Profit for the Store.

Got here at 7:25 and its now 7:45 and still the store os closed when it says open at 730...now im going to be late for them to open..should have gone to Autozone they for sure open at the time posted.
