I cant say enough good things about D. Sattar. I was recommended by a friend over 8 years ago and have been seeing her since. She did a full blood panel on me and after reviewing that she put me on several vitamins to help. I appreciate the holistic approach before RX. Now, I'm still on prescriptions to help with my blood pressure and stress but adapting what I eat and how I eat it has really changed me for the better. Shes now my daughters and my exes Dr.

Better than a regular doctor but was in a hurry to get onto next patient. Take time with your patients, listen to what they have to say. You may be surprised. Had a toe that's been infected and was not asked this time to see if it was better or worse. Took a mental health screening last appt. but no discussion on results this time. Doctors and practitioners need to take a more active role in their patients lives.UPDATE Jan 2020Lowering my rating to 2 stars. Sick. Needed an appointment had to wait for next available. FYI: They dont have sick appointments. Morning of my apt, they rescheduled me for following week. Haha. I'm sick, dont worry it won't get worse by next week. Walked in to my rescheduled appointment and front office lady says I'll need to self pay because she can't find my insurance. She asked me if my insurance changed, I said no. I've been going there for years. What a complete waste of time with no apologies or effort to resolve problem. This place used to be decent when debra was here. Downhill after she left. Will be changing PCP. They are now minus one in the customer department but I doubt they care or read reviews.

Dr. Sattar is the epitome of what a family doctor should be. She is kind, compassionate, and a great listener. Her focus is on treating underlying causes, not just symptoms. In addition, she is board certified in travel medicine.

I found Dr. Sattar back in 2013 after I had been hospitalized. I saw several specialists with zero answers. Dr. Sattar was kind, patient, and extremely knowledgable. She helped me figure out what was going on and educated and empowered me not only with how to fix it, but to become healthier than I was before getting sick in the first place. I highly recommend her!

I went in today Debbie was no longer there I really hate to see her go she was awesome! Dr. Sattar is even more awesome! The front office staff does need training I have been a patient there since I've been in the DFW area. I drove in this morning quite early for my appointment set in the lobby for a long time over an hour then I went back and I was back there for 45 minutes waiting on the doctor. Let me add I was waiting on the new doctor not dr. Sattar or Debbie because she was gone I had to leave after being there for 2 hours and 15 minutes. This is ridiculous I request it to speak with Dr sattar I was not able to. I went to the other office where Dr sattar was and spoke with a gentleman he said he will let her know. Someone needs to contact me because I wasted my time and my gas driving all the way out there to not be seen

I like the idea that they are "open minded" to integrating some holistic concepts when it comes to treating patients, however I'm turned off by all of the unnecessary testing that they ran on me...in the end there really wasn't a solution to my health issues, and insurance wouldn't cover half of the expenses of the tests soooooo yeah.

UPDATE!!! Although I still think the physicians are great, I have been scammed by the manager/billing "guy" out of almost $300.00!! (2 visits) They accept my insurance but asked if I pay full, upfront until my insurance pays them, then they would give me my money back. I have NEVER had a problem with my insurance so I agreed. When I haven't received my refunds, I called and they blamed my insurance, so I called my insurance and they told me they had it filed as fraudulent and they were just waiting for the manager to call back to fix the problem. When I told them to just call them back, they refused. They also refused to call me back, and ignored me every time after that! Someone emailed me from their office and told me to send in my records myself!! I can't, because I'm not the one who filed the claim!! All I did was ask them to fix the fraudulent paper work by making one phone call... they finally fixed it but at their own pace. Im still waiting on my money though. Fingers crossed!

I absolutely love my PCP as well as all of the staff here. Dr. Sattar is a great doctor. She takes the time to fully explaine everything that she has to tell you. So glad I chose her as my primary care physician.

The best place to go to really find what's wrong with yourself. Instead of the normal get a few pills and go away treatment, Oakmount actually does genetic testing. They explain everything to you and work with a holistic approach. They discovered that my MTHR genes were nonfunctional mutants. Over 50% of our population has this problem.
