“This place is a family owned hidden gem that was established in 1934. They have a variety of pots, plants, tools, soil and merchandise for sale such as stickers and clothing. They have a decent outdoor selection of indoor and outdoor plants. They have a separate room for pots and plant care items. The staff are friendly and I got to meet the owner who inherited the family business. I picked up a couple of pots and plants at a reasonable price. I selected low maintenance plants for the office that are thriving and a beautiful addition to the office. I look forward to returning.”

“I am in town for a conference, and this charming shop lured me in through the courtyard. I walked in to Norah Jones coming through the speakers and an absolute tropical plant heaven. Shée (I hope I spelled her name correctly) is an absolute delight and so knowledgeable. If it weren’t for the cold, I do believe a few of your Hoyas would be going back to Columbia, SC with me. I did see a card that reminded me of a dear friend, so I bought that and know she will love it.”

“I've driven by this place almost daily for two years and had no idea what I was missing. It's hard to tell from the outside, but this place is awesome. They have an incredible selection and it's all very nicely organized and maintained. The owners were working the day I went in and were so friendly and helpful. I expected the prices to be higher than chain stores, but they were very comparable. I won't be shopping for my plants anywhere else going forward. I highly recommend Westland.”

“My yard was covered in Autumn weeds. I wasn't optimistic because I have used weed killer granules on my yard pretty often, with only moderate results. I took some weed samples to Calloway's on North Tarrant Blvd. They showed me some weed killer spray that they said would work (picture enclosed). I bought two bottles because I wanted to cover the yard adequately...The spray worked great, and didn't hurt the St.Augustine or Bermuda grass. The best lawn advice I have ever received.”

“Based on my visit today I give them five stars! They had a lot of feed and supplies, but I actually stopped for firewood. Which they DID have some! However, I need it to smoke meats so this type of wood wasnt exactly what I wanted for my brisket.The employees were friendly though and went above and beyond to help me out! The pallet of wood in my picture was priced over $200 for the whole thing (I was told that’s the only way to buy it), and the older/brittle logs are priced for $1/log. Unfortunately I don’t have a pick up truck for transport of the pallet, and then my husband told me these were not the logs he wanted anyway. No biggie!Oh! I’ve bought pest spray from here (yellow top, attaches to your hose) and it works miracles. We ultimately ended up going with a pest service though since we were spending alot to keep them from overtaking our house (this year was worse than normal).”

“We were lucky enough to hold our wedding at Weston Gardens in November. Weston Gardens is an incredibly beautiful and unique wedding venue that feels intimate while allowing for space among guests, that feels magical and of another world just outside of a major metropolitan, and that felt so much like an extension of us (casual warm and welcome) but still acted as a formal backdrop for our night. Even in the evening/dark of daylight savings, Weston is well lit and the ambiance is unmatched. The team at Weston Gardens helped us plan a well executed wedding that went very smoothly and all guests raved about the beauty of the venue itself. It is a place we will have incredibly memories at for the rest of our lives.”

“This location is the only one I will go to. There are many reasons but the Manager Wendy there is great! If she does not have it in her store, she is willing to call others for you. I am in there every week. This is my go-to for home and work. She is always helping her employees, and customers. She greets everyone and I do not think the woman ever stops. She knows where everything is in the store from front to back. She has so much knowledge of the products and that is what I like the most. I want to know what I am using and why it is good or best for what I need. Best Nursery in town.-Ed”
