9:30AM - 8:30PM
3316 E Lancaster Ave, Fort Worth“this little grocery store keeps this immediate area from being a food desert. i was able to get fresh milk, eggs, produce, really good chorizo. the avocados are awesome, big avocados ready to make awesome guacamole. the prices are right”
“Great studying spot with delicious drinks at your fingertips. Deli and coffee shop are inside the store which was perfect for a whole day of studying. There was a group doing a flower arrangement class which I hope to come back and do one day. Super cute spot!”
“Tight place to backup, be patient.
Absolutely no place to park except alongside the road.
No overnight parking either.
Happy Trucking Truckers!!”
“The store was nice and clean, but workers are not very customer service oriented. They don't smile, welcome you, or say " Have a good____!" Inflation has really taken a toll because this store (well, Dallas location) was fairly reasonable compared to this one.”
“Man, the food is great. Barbacoa and carnitas are greatness. The menudo was good, but I like hominy in mine. I wish the tables were cleaned more often, and knowing where to pay can be a bit confusing for a first time visitor. You look at the food you want to order, the you have to go to the checkout register to pay, and then comeback with the receipt. This is a mercado and restaurant.”
“I honestly love this little shop, I love the feel of a little piece of back home. They have good quality meat, veggies, and peppers. You got your laundry detergents, hair, and body wash. Small variety of candy to fill their piñatas. The music is always playing, which I like. The only thing I would probably complain about is the inconsistency with their tamales. It's a hit or miss. They are either too dry, dough not thoroughly cooked all the way, and at times flavorless. I'm not sure if people take turns making it, or just bad batches.”
“RABBIT !!! I hate to give away a secret, but if you love to cook German food.... especially Hasenpfeffer or rabbit stew... they carry it. Aisle 7, bottom shelf, buried in with game hens. They are pricey little critters... from $35 to $45 each, but that is market value these days.”
“The carnitas is amazing. Barbacoa on Saturday is also great. Not too fatty. There is a raw meat section and an already cooked meat section. Don't forget tortilla fresh made, along with great salsa.”
“My meat freezer is once again happy, thanks to Walter. Walter kept up with us even when we moved to Indiana for a few years. So, it was a no-brainer to head right back to Walter when we moved back here with empty freezers. I am happy about all of the beef, my smokers are happy about all of the beef ribs, my grills are happy about all of the steaks, my kids are happy the get to eat, and my husband is happy about all of the savings. It's just awesome when everyone is happy. I can't wait to put some of those gorgeous beef ribs on the smoker. ?”
