Great experience getting our Open Water certifications with Lone Star Scuba! I really had no idea what to expect going into this but knew it was something I had always wanted to do. Robert and Cliff were incredible instructors who spent the time to share with us so much of their knowledge and stories. Matt and Kyle both were awesome to work with at the shop getting gear and paperwork, etc. Everyone was so welcoming and passionate about what they do. I feel very confident going on our trip and can't wait to continue my training with Lone Star Scuba. Thank you!

Awesome shop! got padi certified with them today very knowledgeable with all there gear got discounts with the course. The dive instructors are great took there time with the ones that had some issues and had 1 on1 time if needed only downfall is the viability of the lake for the open water portion but hey I’ll be in the Caribbean next month ? definitely would recommend

Sharon and Manny, the owners of Lonestar, are the nicest people. We ended up buying some equipment from them and doing the confined water portion of the class through Lonestar. From start to finish we had a great experience. Highly recommend Lonestar for all your SCUBA needs! A big bonus for our family was that we learned Manny’s father was great friend of my grandmother’s and they used to dive together back in the day. Forever grateful to Manny for sharing those photos with us. Super cool.

Great shop very helpful, loved their training for PADI certifications.
They helped me in a bind and came to the shop on a day off to get a piece of gear needed for a trip. Would definitely recommend!

A wonderful place if you have ever wanted to learn to scuba. Rob and Emma are very patient and understanding. All of our trainers have been amazing and really have made our entire group feel very comfy during our certification. I will 100% be going back for all my certifications.

Amazing and extremely knowledgeable staff. Mechelle helped me pick out a new set of guns and did a phenomenal job of explaining the pros and cons of each product that was available. She really wanted to just explain everything possible so that making my choice on a product to be sound. Highly recommend this dive shop for any gear you might need.

Would highly recommend Lone Star Scuba to anyone beginning their scuba certification journey. I was fortunate enough to receive private instruction from instructors Matt and Kyle. I had an excellent experience at Lone Star Scuba. The staff is patient, friendly, and informative. The store is immaculate and fully stocked. Starting the scuba certification process can be intimidating, but Lone Star Scuba made me feel confident and excited for this journey. Highly recommend!

I just finished my open water certification with Sam and Adam and had an awesome experience! Great community of divers with an evident passion. Also, the staff is very helpful and knowledgeable when it comes to gear. Highly recommend Lone Star for your training or equipment!!

I have been diving for 15 years, and nearly ten of which were while on active duty in the USAF. It gave me an excellent opportunity to dive all over the world, but it allowed little time to advance my certifications. After kicking around the idea of becoming an instructor for a few years, I have finally pulled the trigger. After spending an hour at lone star scuba, I knew I was at the right spot. LSS took the time to help me upgrade all my gear and get me squeezed into an AOW and enriched air class. Kyle and Rob were amazing instructors, and I can’t say enough good things about that dynamic duo. They make safety the overwhelming priority, but they also make instruction fun. If you are looking to get started in SCUBA or looking to advance your dive certifications, look no further!

So glad I found this place.Everyone here loves diving and helping others.I took Open Water, AOW, and Rescue with them - Kyle and Chief are outstanding instructors. It was a blast to learn from these pros.The shop also has a great selection of quality gear.

This is one of the best dive shops. I am completely new to the world of snorkeling. So I knew nothing going into this. The entire staff was incredibly knowledgeable and willing to help. There was no pressure, and you could tell that they were genuinely interested in sharing their passion. If you need anything diving or snorkeling related, these are the people to see!
