I went in for a watch battery replacement and it only took about 3 minutes! I chatted with who I assume is one of the owners, she was telling me the story of their business and how it has been family owned and operated for 80 years. While chatting she noticed that I was wearing a ring (not purchased here) and offered to clean it for me for free! The battery replacement price was very fair and super fast. It was a lovely and wonderful experience, turned something very mundane into an excellent interaction.

Great Service! I purchased a vintage Hamilton watch years ago and ever since it has been erratically keeping time. I have been looking for a jeweler with a master watchmaker on and off for the past 5 years to get it repaired, with no success. Most of the jewelers I called told me it wasn't worth my time to repair my watch since it was vintage. I gave Kubes a call, and the gentleman answered the phone said that the person who started the business was a master watchmaker and would have no issues repairing the watch. I dropped the watch off for a quote, and to repair the balancing rod, clean, and polish the entire watch was only $300. Considering the watch looks absolutely brand new, this service was well worth the money, I expected to pay exponentially more to get this watch repaired. I definitely recommend doing business with Kubes, they will give you an honest appraisal of your jewelry and any modifications you would like to make (What I mean by this is that if you've got costume jewelry and you want to modify it with expensive 14+ karat gold, they will actually let you know that that it may not be worth your money and you should go with something more affordable like stainless steel, they are extremely reputable). I wish I had some before pictures of my watch, but I will be posting the after pictures.

Had a ring I needed sized, but another large jeweler in Fort Worth said they could not size it even a little. Kubes did it in a reasonable amount of time and with no problem. (Also the salesman at the other jeweler was the one who referred me).

Can’t recommend Kubes enough! Katie helped me with a custom engagement ring design and worked countless hours with me to get everything just right. I’m very indecisive and she was very patient with me. She made sure I loved my ring before we were finished with adjustments. Will absolutely come back for any repair, cleaning or custom designs in the future!

I was very disappointed by the way I was overcharged today at Kube's. I came here because it was recommended to me by several friends, and I always try to support small businesses instead of large chains. I was just trying to get a chain to hang some charms on I had been gifted. Not knowing anything about jewelry, when they asked me to pay $135 for a sterling silver chain, I just handed over my credit card. It seemed a little steep, so tonight I looked at what other shops were charging for identical chains, and they were only charging $75! I feel like I was totally scammed in exchange for trying to support a small business. I understand a small upcharge, but $60 for an identical product is insane. I'll be returning my purchase and I would never shop here again because I can not trust they are giving me a fair price.
