Store stays open late and was busy cause they were the last store open. So much to look at and see in this store. Prices were pretty good a lot is imported from Mexico but we still found some great stuff. The staff was not that friendly they were ready to go home even though the store was crowded.

Wow! This is the place to shop! If you want a great selection on all things, Texas, leather, belts, buckles, hats, cowhide, rugs… And many many other things at the best prices in the stockyard this is where you want to go!!! I looked out that this was my first stop, and I happen to love the employees so much. I just wandered around and kept buying more!
Thank you, John for making me feel so welcome as I was on A solo journey in the stockyard! Loved his hospitality and help in finding just the right things… I wasn’t planning on coming home with a cowhide rug, but I sure ended up doing that! I got the most beautiful cream color, large cowhide rug in addition to other things I picked up throughout the store!
When I left, I cruised throughsome other stores and they had some similar items , but for triple the price!
KO is the place!!!
If you want a beautiful authentic cowhide rug, this is the place to go for the best price!
Go see John he’s awesome!!’

Prices are so well marked. We’ve shopped around for cow hide rugs and they have actually very decent prices for XXL sizes. We thought for sure tourist pricing would hit this place, nope!

Super fun store! We went later in the evening and it was like a dance club/souvenir shop. A lot of great items.

Hi, I just wonder why is the bison herd specimen more expensive than deer?

Loved the store, was a late evening and they were closing. The clerk working came over, helped us pick out a cowhide, and did not rush us though he was closing. The bag he used to put hide in was awesome so I made a pillow out of it. The worker was polite, fun to talk with, no pressure sale. Reasonable prices, fun store.

Must-do experience when in Fort Worth! Be sure to come when you have ample time to see everything because you can easily spend a while just in this store alone, there's just so much.Who knew a little shop could be so jam-packed of Cowtown things? You must buy a cowhide item, doesn't matter if it's the actual cowhide, a purse or another trinket, you're in Fort Worth so you must! This is the place to buy your Texas souvenirs. Magnets (lots, in every shape imaginable hanging on a vintage truck!), wall art, hats, jackets,T-shirts, love all the western stuff and you will too. You know that aunt that loved the little wallet/purse you gave her and you're wondering where you can find a new one she will love again, it's here...So worth visiting just to see their quirky taxidermy collection. There are deer, buffalo, crocodile, antelope, beavers, hogs, longhorn complete with cowbell, on and on. It's really funny and exhaustive, seems every corner has at least a squirrel doing some silly thing. Great for the whole family. My favorite is the cowhide room, you can find that perfect cowhide in just the right color. Cowhide heaven! Also vintage lunch boxes, enough said.

**UPDATE** to the review belowWe were able to get in touch with KO and they were very accommodating in helping us get the horns replaced. Frances was the person who helped us with our issue and she did a great job of getting back to us and making sure whe knew what the status of everything was as they worked resolving the issue. She provided us with pictures of some options for us to review and select for the replacement and then got them shipped out to us in a very timely manner.Their revised shipping method for the horns was improved and the horns arrived in great shape. We are really excited to have our piece of Ft Worth with us in our home, and we'd definitely recommend visiting KO Trading if you are ever in the area.‐---------We purchased a beautiful set of long horns from KO back in October. The staff was very friendly to work with and assured us that they could ship the horns to us no problem as we were visiting from out of state. We paid over $800 for the horns and to have them shipped to us in Coloroado. After waiting nearly a month for them to be shipped, unfortunately, the horns were broken when I opened the crate. I have called the store at least a dozen times in the last day and a half to try and work with them on a resolution, but the phone just rings with no answer and no way to leave a message or get ahold of them. I am posting here in hopes of someone from the store sees this and reaches out to me to resolve the issue. KO was a fun store to visit for people like us who were visiting from out of town and enjoying the Ft Worth Stockyard district, but it has been frustrating to work with them on this relatively expensive purchase that they insured us could be shipped. Be cautious if you are thinking of buying horns and having them shipped.
